I have had dogs all our life and been surrounded by dogs in the family since childhood. I have a Labrador called Bella who is 7, she is great with other dogs and very well behaved. She is a real pampered pooch, regularly exercised and has lots of cuddles. Unfortunately we lost Ted our 8 year old Labrador to cancer in September 24, you will most likely read a lot about him in our reviews. We now have Nelly who is a 1 year old lab. Both are great with dogs, however they don’t always have to come to your house when I am dog sitting, sometimes they can stay at home. Monday to Friday Maria works from home so your pooch will have lots of company and cuddles. I work local to home for lunchtime walks. On evening and weekends I run or walk with Bella, so your dog will get plenty of exercise. We have a large enclosed garden for safety , Bella sleeps downstairs in the kitchen or living room, your dog can sleep up or downstairs.

About: What sets us apart from other sitters is the warm, home-from-home environment we provide. We’re a dog-loving household, and with my retired mum at home during the day, there’s always someone around to give your dog plenty of love and attention. Our two friendly, well-socialised dogs also help new dogs feel settled and part of the family from the start. About: My Husband and I are loving owners of our beautiful, boisterous, blue eyed Siberian Husky called Blu! Blu has given us 11 years of absolute joy, she has not lost her zoomies or puppy like personality which makes caring for her fun and games. We trained her from a puppy which took sometime (and lots of treats!) but she is now a well trained dog and is always so happy when around other dogs. She is super friendly towards new dogs and always loves any doggy dates we plan. My husband has a very flexible job where he works from home and able to attend to your beloved dog’s needs as and when needed. If your dog is like ours I predict they will have a nice snooze at his feet after a lunch time walk and treat. I also have a very flexible working day and can support during work hours. Evenings and weekends always involve long doggy walks in the local Leeds area. We have plenty of woodland/ parks/ countryside walks on our doorstep which Blu always looks forward too. If your dog is a little older and prefers a shorter stroll or more frequent toilet breaks, we can equally cater to this. We are dog obsessed and always keen to doggy sit for friend’s and family’s dogs, whether that be overnight or just for the day. Just the other week we had the pleasure of looking after my cousins Samoyed for the weekend, enjoying the sun in the secure garden in the morning before an afternoon stroll round the local reservoir. We also have plenty of space in our cozy home for the more rainy days. We are aware of all the important doggy DOs and DONTs and have local vets within 5-10minutes. About: I’ve always been the go to friend for dog sitting & walking since moving to Leeds. By gaining experience with small dogs and providing basic training, I have now progressed on to medium & larger breeds within the local community. I’m currently a stay at home partner and my partner runs his own pub. We have a large field connected to the pub for playtime as well as lots of nature trails around us to tire the dogs out! About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals, I have a real passion for training and nearly chose to do animal behaviour at university! I have experience with rescue/shelter animals that perhaps need a more delicate hand especially in stressful or triggering scenarios where they miss their owners. Growing up I had 2 rescues from the RSPCA who were quite reactive but with time and consistency were able to be off leash and interact well with other dogs. Currently I have two family dogs who I have trained, one is a border collie and the other a whippet but the rewarding nature of training is still the same. Fun party tricks as well as useful habits that are utilised in walks and at home. I’m used to senior dogs and the additional implications of them, my last dog was with us until she was 19! I have a real soft spot for senior dogs. I’m currently in my third year of uni but I only have 3 days a week! I have a four day weekend every week where I can be home! I have a car and am next to Hyde park for walking, but would probably prefer to take them to Roundhay as there is considerably more space and freedom! I have a few housemates who I have lived with for over a year now and who have all agreed, but are similarly animal lovers. I have a large house, there is a front garden area that is fenced but is very small with no grass. The house backs onto burley park and is 1 minute from Hyde park so this would be where I would take a dog throughout the day, before doing longer walks in Roundhay or other further more suitable locations.

About: I have had dogs throughout my entire life, and more recently I became a registered veterinary nurse, where I work mostly with dogs. I often look after my dad’s dog Stanley, who is seen on my profile picture. We recently went on a solo holiday together, where we enjoyed going on lots of hikes. Being an RVN, I am trained in CPR and giving medications. I currently work a night shift rotation of 1 week on and 2 weeks off. I plan to only pet sit during my 2 weeks off so that I am available at all times during the day. I will diligently follow instructions from the owner, while also using my professional judgement on the wellbeing of the cat. If I have any concerns I will immediately contact the owner, and stay with the cat until I am sure that everything is okay. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, and I’m also available on Thursday evenings if needed. Tom is usually home on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, as he often flies on weekends. Between us, someone is typically around most of the week. We’ll do our best to work with your schedule — even in a last-minute emergency. We also have a car and can collect your pet if needed. We usually stay in on weekends and would be happy to look after your pet for the whole weekend if required. Both me and Tom will be at home most days, due to Toms job there might be days where he is working and will not be in the house. But I will be at home to give your pet care and attention. We have a lovely back garden — while it’s not fenced in, we’re happy to sit outside with your pet and keep a close eye on them, or keep them on a lead for safety. We also live near several parks and can drive them to the woods if they’d enjoy a longer walk. If your pet needs a pram, we’re more than happy to push them along for some fresh air! We can also feed and bathe your pet, and if they have any medical needs, we’ll do our best to ensure they take their medication (we’re fans of the classic cheese ball method!). I have lots of spare time at the weekends to give a pet full attention. I have a large outdoor space with private access for a pet to run around and live near lots of parks and trails to give animals more space that they may require. I am also Canine First Aid trained. Whilst I love pets, I can’t currently commit to one of my own due to my work schedule but I would love to give your pup the love & care I would give my own. I am comfortable with walking dogs on any kind of lead & I am more than happy to keep up with any training your pup might be doing. I’m happy to administer any medications your pet might need but I’m not qualified to give injections. If it's a larger dog I tend to go a little further afield; Golden Acre Park, Meanwood Park, Adel Woods or other - to ensure they have plenty of space to have a run and get some exercise. This is followed by a lunchtime walk, and an evening walk. I also take dogs out on a toilet break walk before I go to sleep. I live in a house, with a walled off garden. It's a child, pet and smoke free environment so I am able to give your pet the attention it deserves.

I have had dogs all our life and been surrounded by dogs in the family since childhood. I have a Labrador called Bella who is 7, she is great with other dogs and very well behaved. She is a real pampered pooch, regularly exercised and has lots of cuddles. Unfortunately we lost Ted our 8 year old Labrador to cancer in September 24, you will most likely read a lot about him in our reviews. We now have Nelly who is a 1 year old lab. Both are great with dogs, however they don’t always have to come to your house when I am dog sitting, sometimes they can stay at home. Monday to Friday Maria works from home so your pooch will have lots of company and cuddles. I work local to home for lunchtime walks. On evening and weekends I run or walk with Bella, so your dog will get plenty of exercise. We have a large enclosed garden for safety , Bella sleeps downstairs in the kitchen or living room, your dog can sleep up or downstairs.
About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life, and after patiently waiting for the right time in my life, I finally got my own Cocker Spaniel Bella, in June 2024. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made🥰 We walk for miles and miles together, exploring new places, whilst enjoying our regular favourite spots, and she loves to join me on my morning runs. We have the best time together, and we would love nothing more than your furry friend to join us on our adventures. Bella gets on well with other dogs, although a little cautious at first, she will soon be happily running along side them, and having competitions as to who can find the best stick😅 Equally, if your dog would prefer to be alone, that is absolutely no problem what so ever, and Bella can stay at home and get some much needed rest😅 Walks can be as long or as short as your pet desires. I currently work shifts, 4 days on, 4 days off, therefore I am available to walk your dog or drop on by on any of my days off. I am very flexible with times and will happily fit around your pets needs/schedule. I am also happy to drive within 30 minutes of Yeadon, to come walk or care for your dog. My dream one day is to eventually become a full time dog walker. Right from when we first went to meet Charlotte and Josh to see if they were right for us my dog was happy to be around them. During his actual visit he was happy to stay with them and from the messages I received seemed to settle quite quickly. My dog has his foibles and Charlotte and Josh were really keen to understand, by engaging with me, how they might overcome those issues during the stay.
