About: I've cared for pets of all sizes and ages. From babies to very senior dogs and cats. I'm a calm person and have found that pets respond positively to me. I take note of clients requests, such as keeping dogs on the lead or not letting cats out. I only walk dogs from one family at a time, so no packs of dogs to try control. I'm a retired lady who has some time on her hands! I live with my husband and my children and grandson are not too far away. At your home looking after pets I try to follow your normal routine. I'm careful locking up and when I have to label keys I only use the pets name, no address or anything that could give anyone a clue to your premises in case I drop keys out of my pocket. I've never done that, but there could be a first time!

“We couldn't be happier. Otis can be a shy dog with new people but he seemed to take to Vee in practically no time. We received loads of updates and pictures and Otis had all the love and care we could've asked for! We absolutely will be booking in again, couldn't be anymore pleased!”

“Saffron was absolutely amazing! 10/10. She was super lovely and caring. Kept us updated throughout the weekend and our two boys loved her! Ik they will defo want her back and we will 100% be using Saffron in the future! So happy I can visit my family anxiety-free! Thank you so much, Saffron! <3 xx”

“Can’t recommend Charlotte enough. She came to meet Albie pre-visit, made sure she fully understood his routine and gave amazing updates with pictures whilst we away. Will be looking to book again”

About: I have dog boarded for 5 years now and I have experiance with all kinds of breeds and sizes , I have experienced dogs with medical issues and gave medication when needed. I work part time, Monday to Friday and 10-2, so I have a lot of availability to care for your pet whilst at my home, I am local to eccup reservoir & golden acre park both are 5 minute drive from my home, I can do three walks a day being, morning, afternoon & tea time, depending on the dogs preference , however I live in a lovely village witch is perfect for smaller walks. I have a huge garden with a 6ft fence securing the whole garden at the back of my house with patios doors from my kitchen to enter the garden .

“Sophie was amazing from start to finish. Her communication was excellent, and she kept us updated with regular photos and messages throughout our puppy's stay, which gave us real peace of mind. Our puppy was so well looked after, and we couldn't be happier with the care he received. We would definitely recommend Sophie and will be booking with her again!”

“I have no words other than WOW and THANK YOU to Caitlin! This was my first time using Rover and my first time leaving Ted with a professional dog sitter rather than friends or family so I was naturally quite nervous. Caitlin immediately put me at ease with her warm, bubbly personality and from the moment we met I knew Ted was in safe hands. Ted is usually quite an anxious dog with separation anxiety, but from the moment I left he settled so quickly and looked genuinely happy and relaxed. Seeing that gave me so much reassurance. Caitlin kept me updated throughout his stay with lots of lovely photos and messages and it was clear he was having the best time :D! He enjoyed plenty of walks, lots of love and attention and was so well looked after. Caitlin is an absolute superstar. I genuinely couldn’t recommend her highly enough… although part of me wanted to gatekeep her all to myself! 😂 Thank you again for taking such amazing care of my little Ted ❤️”

“How fortunate we feel to have come across Faye’s details . From out first pre visit we knew we were in safe hands . All Chester’s routines , likes and dislikes were carefully noted .No stone was left unturned . From arriving at the airport for our holiday , we received our first photo . She was safely in and was already bonding . From that moment we both completed relaxed . She has been a breathe of fresh air . On returning she waited for us to arrive , even though we were delayed . House was immaculate and Chester was happy and content. Communication from start to finish was superb . The whole process was seamless and we have found a gem in Faye”

About: I have been a fan of dogs my whole life, have owned dogs in the past, and currently share responsibilities of caring for a male boxer cross with a friend. For the last 10 years I have been a reliable port of call for family, close friends, friends of friends and neighbours when a short-term solution is needed. Since hearing about Rover.com recently, I decided to reinstate this account and start offering these services to a wider audience. I work full-time, but only a 5 minute walk from home and will never leave a dog unattended for longer than 4 hours as a rule. My work hours at the office are 8:30-17:00 Mon-Thurs with an hour long break at midday, and 8:30-12:30 on Fridays. I usually use my weekends for hiking so can tailor walks to suit individual dogs and/or take specific exercise requests from owners. I have a high-fenced, secure garden with adequate space and shade and great retired neighbours either side of my terrace. On pleasant days when I am required to be in-office, I will often leave Fred (my boxer cross) outside with a big bowl of water so he can relax in the sun (or shade) at his leisure. With regards to overnight stays, it is a preference that dogs stay downstairs in either my kitchen or living room, but I can be flexible if certain dogs display any form of separation anxiety. Any dogs staying in my home must have been treated for fleas as standard so as not to jeopardise future pets from picking up hitch-hikers on their staycation.
“Morgan was friendly, on time & looked after Indi really well. I received a couple of updates & photos whilst I was away & had extra peace of mind knowing that Morgan is training to be a vetenary nurse so understood my dogs health condition.”
“Jordan was excellent at looking after our two dachshunds, one of which has a disability and therefore his needs are quite particular. It was a long day, 6.30am - 8pm house sit but Jordan patient and kind and was able to keep us posted throughout the day. Both dogs were happy and took to Jordan really well. 100% would have her back for another house sit.”

“Freya did a good job of looking after my greyhound Lando, as well as the house. She communicated well, relying to messages in good time and keeping me updated with news and photos. Would use again.”

About: I am an animal lover at heart and have always had a cat in my life. I currently have the lovely Melvin, a grey tabby cat. I love animals and getting to know their individual personalities. I have had experience of giving my family's elderly cats (17/18 years old) medicine and looked after small/medium dogs. We have used Cat in a Flat often and have found it really helpful especially for short trips away and last minute cat sitting needs. I look forward to finding out about your pets and what they need! If you have any questions, do not hesitate to get in touch! I'm currently working part-time and have a flexible work day so have plenty of time to drop by and spend some time with your pets. My weeks can vary from week to week. Depending on what your pet needs, I can adapt to this. I will keep all dogs on leads to ensure their safety especially as I get to know them.

About: I have been on rover since November 2023 and as massive dog lovers, we are having the time of our lives looking after other people's pets. Look at our reviews to see how happy and content all your pets are with us. I have recently started house sitting in your home too. I have had dogs all our life and been surrounded by dogs in the family since childhood. I have a Labrador called Bella who is 7, she is great with other dogs and very well behaved. She is a real pampered pooch, regularly exercised and has lots of cuddles. Unfortunately we lost Ted our 8 year old Labrador to cancer in September 24, you will most likely read a lot about him in our reviews. We now have Nelly who is a 1 year old lab. Both are great with dogs, however they don’t always have to come to your house when I am dog sitting, sometimes they can stay at home. Monday to Friday Maria works from home so your pooch will have lots of company and cuddles. I work local to home for lunchtime walks. On evening and weekends I run or walk with Bella, so your dog will get plenty of exercise. We have a large enclosed garden for safety , Bella sleeps downstairs in the kitchen or living room, your dog can sleep up or downstairs.
“Joel did a great job looking after our dog Sybbie while we were away on holiday. She's dog-reactive and Joel took her on some lovely walks. We had updates and photos to put our mind at ease which was great. Would recommend. Thank you Joel! X”

“Was really pleased that Samuel was able to step in to look after our two dogs at really short notice; it was reassuring to leave them him. We’re also grateful that he persevered with them, even when Tilly became grumpy and aggressive; not quite sure why she did it, but never the less Samuel stayed with them until it was time to put them to bed. He was punctual and respectful of our space, and we would recommend him as a dog sitter.”

“This is the third time Leah has looked after Kaia and again we’re so so happy. We came home after 10 days to a very happy and healthy pup. It’s clear Kaia adores Leah and spending time with her. She gets lots of play time and attention. Leah is definitely top of our list for dog sitters for our pup.”

“Honestly can’t recommend Saffron enough, she looked after our sometimes reactive GSD in our home and by the end of the stay he was smitten. Shes really knowledgeable and was so patient with Gimli to ensure he felt comfortable with her before the main house sit (he finds having new people in the home difficult) Thank you Saffron! X”

Vanessa was fantastic! She dog sat for us for week at our house and took such great care of everything. Our dog was happy and relaxed the whole time, and our home was left exactly as we left it. Clear communication, reliable, and clearly a genuine animal lover. We’d book her again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.

Naomi was absolutely fantastic at looking after our kittens whilst we were away. She helped us out last minute after another sitter cancelled, and was so helpful and just great with the cats, they adored her. Would definitely recommend Naomi, your cats will be well looked after.
