We take our Cockapoo, Roxy, out for walks every morning and afternoon, and we’re more than happy to add a third walk into the routine for any extra-energetic pups. We have a fenced garden so it’s fully safe and enclosed. Roxy has a tracker on and we have a spare we could always add to collars whilst they stay with us.

About: I've cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities since I was a child. Friends, neighbours and family have always relied on me to feed, walk and look after their pets when they’re away. I’m calm, patient and comfortable with everything from energetic puppies to older dogs who prefer slower, relaxed walks and plenty of company. I’m also an avid hiker and love exploring the beautiful area I’m lucky enough to live in. I enjoy getting outside and giving dogs the chance to properly stretch their legs, whether that’s a gentle local walk or a longer adventure for more energetic dogs. I always tailor walks to the individual dog’s needs, age and energy level so they get the right balance of exercise and care. I currently only have to work a few hours in the evenings, which means I’m available during the day and most weekends. I’m reliable, flexible and happy to stick to your dog’s usual routine so they feel comfortable while you’re away. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. I pick and choose my hours as my job is essentially just talking on the phone, so it’s pretty easy to manage care. Playing games, long walks, cuddles on the sofa ect. The area is great for long and short walks and I usually plan a few longer ones a week ahead of time. I'm open to suggestions for interesting places. Owners instructions above all else. I’m able to care for pets in my home as I don't have to leave the house for work. There are so many nice areas nearby for walks which is a part of my routine regardless. I have a decent sized fenced back garden and a lot of room for the animal I'm caring for to play in.

I’m also very happy to have a snuggle on the sofa in the evenings. I work from home three days a week, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to give dogs real attention throughout the day. I also have the option to bring a dog into the office, so they’re never left alone for long periods. I am an active Guide Dog foster carer, experienced puppy trainer and a member of the Association of Dog Boarders. I am retired so am flexible and can devote time as needed by your pet and can fall into most routines that might be required by them. We have a secure, fenced garden that your pet can explore and which opens onto a large recreation field that is well used by dog walkers. Sociable dogs with good recall can have good fun there. We also have close access to countryside walks.
