“Abigail was wonderful. Our two Labradors were very happy in her care and she was very flexible and accommodating of their routine. We would recommend her and certainly use her again.”

“Yet again, Amber has been absolutely incredible! She has gone above and beyond for my little boy and really took great care of him. We were super worried as it was first time we were away from our puppy overnight, however Amber has made him feel comfortable, cared and loved! I would 100% recommend her services! The genuine love for animals truly shows in everything that she does!”

“Jamie was was spot on. Took the extra time to meet us and our dog before the sitting was required. Kept us up to date with messages and photos during the sitting and we can home to calm happy Pup.”

“Sophie is such a great find! She kindly popped in to meet Emily (our 14 year old Shih Tzu!) a few days before her first doggy sitting day. Emily totally took to her and they had a lovely time hanging out. Would highly recommend any day!!”

About: Me and my partner regularly care for dogs for friends, family and family friends. Experienced with different breeds, routines, feeding, walks and giving them a safe, loving home. I work Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, so I only accept bookings that suit my availability. This allows me to give every dog the time, care, and attention they deserve. We have a secure, fenced, good-sized garden for safe outdoor time and play. Your dog will be supervised, well cared for, and treated like part of our family.
“Courtney was wonderful! Id highly recommend her if you need someone who clearly cares for animals and loves spending time with them. She looked after our golden retriever overnight and he was calm and content when we returned. She sent us photos and updates throughout the visit too. Will definitely use her again! Thank you!”

“Strudel immediately responded to her calm presence and was very well looked after. Very responsive, friendly and warm. We were especially grateful for the understanding when we were slightly delayed due to a concert overrun. Highly recommend!”

“Elenor was so lovely. She took the time to get to know Koda, and became his best pal very quickly. She checked if she wasn’t sure on something and kept us up to date with how he was doing and the adventures they were having. He was a happy and tired pup when we returned home and the house was tidy. Would love for Elenor to look after Koda again and would highly recommend her to others.”

About: The Pawfect Getaway. Now taking bookings for four legged guests into 2027 I have many years of hands-on experience caring for dogs as part of my own family. Over the years I’ve shared my home with working Cocker Spaniels, Springer Spaniels and Labradors, so I’m very familiar with both energetic breeds and those who enjoy a steadier pace as they mature. Living with dogs has taught me the importance of consistency, patience and understanding each dog’s individual personality. I’m comfortable with daily walks, feeding routines, enrichment, and quiet companionship — not just exercise, but genuine care and presence. I also have experience administering medication, including tablets and routine treatments, and I’m happy to follow clear instructions to ensure your dog’s health needs are met properly and calmly. What Sets Me Apart Your dog would be cared for in my own home, not a kennel or busy multi-dog environment. I offer one-to-one care, meaning your dog gets my full attention and is treated as an individual, not part of a crowd. I take time to understand and maintain your dog’s existing routines — feeding times, walks, sleeping arrangements and any special habits — so they feel settled and secure while you’re away. Familiar routines make a world of difference to a dog’s happiness and wellbeing. I provide a quiet, relaxed, home-from-home environment, ideal for dogs who prefer calm company, personal attention, and a predictable day. My aim is always that your dog feels safe, comfortable and genuinely cared for — and that you can enjoy your time away with real peace of mind. Exclusive Perk: Secure Field Playtime! 🐾 Does your dog love to run full-speed but needs a completely safe space to do so? When your four legged friend stays with me, I can arrange and facilitate exclusive access to a fully grassed, securely fenced, and entirely safe private field. For 50 minutes of pure, uninterrupted fun, your dog will have the entire area all to themselves to sprint, sniff, and play to their heart's content—without any outside distractions or worries! It is the ultimate energy burner and a wonderful luxury for high-energy or reactive dogs who thrive with a bit of extra space. Please note that an additional fee applies for each field session. If you would love for your furry friend to enjoy this private playground experience during their stay, please enquire at the time of booking so we can secure their slot! Pet care fits very comfortably into my daily routine as I am retired and at home all day. This means your dog will have constant companionship and supervision, rather than being left alone for long periods. I’m able to structure my day around your dog’s usual routine, including regular walks, feeding times, medication if required, play, and plenty of rest. Being at home allows me to give unhurried, one-to-one attention, respond quickly to your dog’s needs, and provide reassurance throughout the day. Whether your dog enjoys activity or prefers a quieter pace, I can adapt the day to suit them while keeping things familiar and calm. My aim is to offer a consistent, home-from-home experience, so your dog feels settled, secure, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. I care for pets in a calm, structured, and attentive way, always treating them as individuals. When caring for dogs in my own home, I provide a safe, relaxed, home-from-home environment with plenty of supervision and one-to-one attention. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully, maintaining established routines for feeding, walks, rest, play, and medication, as consistency is key to helping dogs feel secure. I take time to understand a pet’s personality, preferences, and any health or behavioural needs. I’m experienced with energetic breeds as well as dogs who prefer a quieter pace, and I adapt care accordingly. I ensure dogs are never left for long periods and always have companionship, comfort, and reassurance. When caring for pets in my home, I respect and follow the same careful approach — sticking closely to the pet’s normal routine, keeping their environment familiar, and providing calm, dependable care. My priority in every situation is the pet’s wellbeing, comfort, and safety, and giving owners genuine peace of mind while they’re away.

About: With over 20 years of dog care experience, I bring a level of expertise most sitters can't match. Having owned multiple dogs, including large breeds, and gained hands on training experience along the way, I understand canine behaviour, energy levels, and individual personalities, so every walk is calm, safe, and tailored to your dog. I'm available for dog walks in the evenings and on weekends, giving your dog consistent, reliable exercise around a routine that fits your schedule. I make sure every walk is unhurried, safe, and enjoyable for your dog. Safety is my priority on every walk. I keep dogs securely leashed, stay alert to their body language and surroundings, and adapt my pace and approach to suit each dog's temperament, energy level, and any specific needs you share with me.
“I was happy to leave my dogs with Volodymir. He asked a lot of questions before the stay to ensure he knows my dogs well and what they may need. House was well taken care of at the end of the stay and the dogs were happy. Any serious issues were communicated and discussed.”

About: Dogs, cats and many other animals have been in my life since birth. I love them around me. I am an active Guide Dog foster carer, experienced puppy trainer and a member of the Association of Dog Boarders. I am retired so am flexible and can devote time as needed by your pet and can fall into most routines that might be required by them. We have a secure, fenced garden that your pet can explore and which opens onto a large recreation field that is well used by dog walkers. Sociable dogs with good recall can have good fun there. We also have close access to countryside walks.
“Heidi and Alf have just spent a week with Bev and they absolutely loved it! After a ‘getting to know you visit’ a few weeks before their stay, the day of their holiday they jumped straight out of the car and ran to her door, just delighted to see her again. Bev is friendly, kind and the dogs loved her. Heidi is a Bernese, so she is big and she struggles in the hot weather, but Bev handled her brilliantly. She sent regular updates and photos. I thoroughly recommend her and Heidi and Alf will definitely be back again. ❤️”

“Helene kan anbefales på det varmeste. Hun er voksen, hyggelig, holder avtaler og var veldig flink med min hund. Hun sendte meg oppdateringer med bilder, noe som var svært betryggende for meg. Jeg vil gjerne ha Helene som hundepasser igjen om jeg får anledning.”

About: I adore dogs! I have helped run a dog kennels for over 3 years before I went travelling. I have also worked at a dog and cat animal charity for 1.5 years in Edinburgh, where I'm from. When I was travelling in Australia I also done dog walking as I needed my doggy fix down under as well. I had a family dog who was my absolute soul dog and best friend. I would care for your dog like it was my own furry pal. I currently work in the nhs supporting children with mental health issues. This is a challenging but very rewarding career. I do miss having furry, four legged friends in my life though. My schedule changes each week and I can be working different days each week but my work can be flexible if I'm given enough notice as to what days you need pet cover. We have a fenced garden at the back of the property. We now have our own golden retriever pup called ozzy who is the centre of our universe. Due to this I have put a hold on dog boarding in my house but still more than happy to drop by to owners houses to keep your pooch company as well as offer dog walking services.

Jess was really great with our rescue greyhound, we had a lovely meet and great with her first.
