About: I have a love of all animals and treat everyone’s as my own. My home has plenty of space to accommodate all your pets requirements. I work part time from home so I am always around the house so your pet would not be left alone for more than an hour. I have a large enclosed garden with lockable gates to prevent access. My own pets have the run of the house and garden but each animal will be assessed and cared for as an individual and I have multiple rooms should some space from other animals be required.

About: I live in the beautiful village of West Tanfield, surrounded by countryside walks right on my doorstep. I’m lucky to have access to a lovely river loop walk, open fields nearby, and regular trips to Thornborough Henges, which is fully fenced and perfect for safe exploring. I work from home most of the time, so your dog will have plenty of company and a calm, relaxed environment throughout the day. They’re more than welcome to join me in my home office — keeping me company as the “office dog” for the day. I’ve had dogs all my life and recently lost my beautiful black Labrador, Ralph, in January. While I’m not quite ready for another dog of my own, I would love to open my home to yours and give them the same love and care. My aim is to provide a true “home away from home” — dogs are welcome to relax freely in the house and garden, and be part of a safe, comfortable environment. I’ll always treat them as if they were my own. I work from home most days, so your dog will have plenty of company and care. I can only accept bookings when I’m working from home. I only take one dog at a time. Dogs are treated like family and I like them to feel relaxed, with free roam, sofas, beds, a garden fully secure, and countryside walks.

About: I grew up with dogs and absolutely love their company for long walks in the area that i live in, along with lots of playtime I am currently single and retired so now have lots and lots of spare of time for lovely long walks and plenty of time to play I have fields on three sides of my house, pets would be able to roam inside bungalow freely or be caged if required by owners

About: I’ve always loved animals and have grown up with a dog of my own, so spending time with pets has always been a huge part of my life. I have experience caring for pets, including looking after a neighbour’s two dogs and cat for a week while staying in their home. Family members also regularly ask me to look after their dogs in my own home, which I absolutely love. I always make sure every pet feels happy, safe and comfortable. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding or bedtime, I’ll treat every fluffy friend like family. I’m lucky to have a really flexible schedule at the moment, so I’m available seven days a week and can easily fit around your pet’s routine. Whether it’s a morning walk, an afternoon play session, an overnight stay or just keeping them company, I’ll be there to make sure they get lots of love, attention and care while you’re away. I know leaving your pet with someone new can be a big step, so I’ll do everything I can to make them feel happy, safe and right at home. I have a secure fenced garden where they can play safely, as well as plenty of toys to keep them entertained. I’ll stick to their usual routine, whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding or lots of cuddles, and I’ll treat every fluffy friend like one of my own. I’ll also send regular photos and updates, so you can see just how much fun they’re having while you’re away!

About: I’ve lived with dogs my whole life, but my passion for training really took off when i rescued a Spaniel x Beagle. He started out reactive to other dogs, with no recall and a habit of disappearing after anything that moved. Through daily training and hundreds of hours of learning, I transformed him into a confident, social dog with reliable off-lead freedom, excellent recall, and advanced obedience. That journey gave me a genuine passion for helping dogs learn and building their confidence. I now volunteer every week at a dog rescue, working with dogs of all breeds, ages and temperaments. I’m comfortable handling everything from nervous and reactive dogs to strong pullers and high-energy working breeds. Whether your dog simply needs a fun walk, plenty of attention and a home away from home, or would benefit from some extra work on recall, lead manners, general obedience or behavioural issues during their stay, I’d love to help. I genuinely enjoy training and am happy to take on dogs that need a little extra guidance. We also have private, secure land, giving dogs a safe space to exercise and train away from distractions when needed. I work full time from home so always able to keep an eye on dogs. Normally the day starts with a walk round the fields/local paths. Then we settle down, few 5 min spurs of obedience training through the day and then a big afternoon walk. Evening will maybe have a small additional walk or some training. We have a fenced garden, fenced private fields - all possible escape routes have been found and fixed thanks to our escape artist. My dog is always around - he’s a beagle x spaniel full of energy.

We dropped off Granville our border terrier for the day for the first time and we were a bit worried - how would he settle, would he be OK with a new person in new surroundings?. We shouldn't have worried. Vivianne kept us updated with photos and messages throughout the day. When we collected him, we had comprehensive feedback and Granville was happy and settled and seemed to have had a great day, meeting a new friends and getting lots of attention. We were delighted with his excellent care and will be back!! Its great that we can be confident that he is looked after so well.”

About: Me and my partner regularly care for dogs for friends, family and family friends. Experienced with different breeds, routines, feeding, walks and giving them a safe, loving home. I work Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, so I only accept bookings that suit my availability. This allows me to give every dog the time, care, and attention they deserve. We have a secure, fenced, good-sized garden for safe outdoor time and play. Your dog will be supervised, well cared for, and treated like part of our family.
