About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover based in a cosy terrace house right next to plenty of green space, riverside walks, and open fields - perfect for curious noses and active paws. While I can’t commit to having my own dog full-time due to occasional work travel, I absolutely love having furry company when I’m home. I grew up in a dog-loving household and have plenty of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes. I'm also the go-to sitter for my friends and family. Your dog will get lots of attention, affection, and exercise. I already head out for 2–3 walks a day along the river and nearby fields, so they’ll be joining me on those adventures (bonus points if they enjoy a run!). At home, I have a small garden where dogs can get some fresh air safely on a lead. I aim to provide a relaxed, caring environment where your dog feels comfortable, happy, and well looked after-just like they would at home. Feel free to get in touch. I’d love to meet you and your pup! My routine is perfect for dog sitting when I’m not away for work. I start the day with a morning walk, followed by some office work (which is always better with a dog cuddle!). I head out again for a lunchtime walk, then repeat a similar rhythm in the afternoon. Evenings are for another walk and a cosy chill on the sofa - so your dog gets plenty of exercise, attention, and companionship throughout the day. I provide a safe, relaxed, and attentive environment tailored to each dog’s needs. At home, I have a small garden where dogs can go out on a lead while I supervise, so they can safely do their business. I’m also surrounded by lots of green space, so walks are always varied and suited to your dog’s energy levels. Inside, my kitchen/living area is a comfortable space for a bed and feeding area, but I’m very happy for dogs to roam freely and make themselves at home. I aim to keep their routine as consistent as possible, with plenty of attention, exercise, and affection throughout the day.

About: Hi I'm Steph 🐾 😊 I have always loved being surrounded by animals and understand how much love and care they need. I have a dog of my own, a working cocker spaniel, as well as a lovely, friendly ginger cat. Across my wider family, we have a collective total of 12 dogs, which I frequently look after when required. With the family clan being a mix of breeds and ages, I’m very comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. Whether it’s keeping up with an active pup, providing calm companionship for an older dog, or simply sticking to their daily schedule, I treat every dog as if they were part of my own family. I'm currently working part-time, where from Monday to Wednesday, I run an adventure doggy daycare service called Wild Brambles - so, on Thursday through to Sunday, I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I am available for overnight stays in the week as well as some weekends, depending on booking dates. I have a fenced backyard as well as a large green space metres from my home, so your lovely pup will have all the access needed to sniff, explore and most importantly, go to the loo depending on their preferences. I have a working cocker spaniel who loves other dogs, as well as a cat who loves to play and snuggle with his four-legged friends (should they wish to). Having a working cocker spaniel, I like to go on enrichment walks through the woods to tire her out. Should your pup be more active, I can bring them along, but if that's not their speed, I can also make sure a shorter, less strenuous walk is on the cards. My cocker spaniel is crate trained and if needed, I can remove her from the room on an evening to give your dog space. Additionally, I can offer a crate for those who feel more comfortable in their own space. And am more than happy for you to bring their own bed/crate to feel more at home. Evenings in my house are for relaxing, and we tend to snuggle up on the sofa watching tv.

About: I've been around dogs since childhood, and three years ago, my family and I adopted our lovely Britney/Staffy cross, Coco, after finding her abandoned while on holiday in Spain. Coco is 5 years old and very loves nothing more than making new doggy friends. We love local walks to the cafe at lunch and going further afield at weekends and would love to have your dog along with us. We also have a large enclosed garden for plenty of outdoor fun during the day! I work from home three days a week and my husband works from home full time so someone will always be around the house. We walk our dog Coco three times a day, and allow plenty of time in the garden between walks. My husband usually walks to a local cafe at lunch for a good one hour walk with the dog. We have a large and totally enclosed back garden and a large open plan living area downstairs. Your dog will be free to wander around the house and hangout with our dog Coco. If we have to pop out for a short time we ensure access to a comfy bed and water at all times.

About: I grew up with Black Labs as pets so have been around dogs from a young age. I am now a proud owner of a friendly Golden retriever who loves making new friends. I work from home so will be around the majority of the time, however, on longer stays there will be periods where I have to leave the house for a few hours without the dogs. I work from home during the week so will be around to give lots of attention and love. We enjoy long walks on weekends and exploring ! I have a fenced in garden that your dog can enjoy and a 3 year old Golden who can’t wait to meet your dog! Although mine no longer uses a crate I do have one and the ability to provide this as an option for your dog, they are however free to hop on up on the sofa or bed for a snooze!

About: I have been working with pets my entire life! I grew up taking care of dogs, cats, rabbits, and horses from the moment I learned how to walk! I became involved with dog and horse training when I was ten years old, including our own dogs as well! Pets are a part of the family, our dogs sit on the couch with us when watching our favorite shows and come with us on all of our adventures, no matter how big or small! Pet care has been at the root of my entire life, and it has gives me joy to be able to make animals happy! I am a current student who always has a book in her purse ready to read on the go! I have a very good balance of school and am available to always be able to care for dogs! I live next to a very large field for your dog to run or walk around in! I currently do not have any other pets because I am at school so if your fur baby is shy around other animals there is no worry!

About: What sets me apart is the balance of professional knowledge and genuine love I have for dogs. I completed a Level 3 Animal Care Diploma, where I studied dog behaviour, welfare, and puppy training, so I feel confident supporting young dogs as they learn and grow, as well as understanding each dog’s individual needs and body language. I’ve grown up with dogs all my life, and my Cockapoo back home is truly my best friend, which means I completely understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I’m currently an Interior Design student at university in York, which gives me a flexible schedule and a calm, responsible approach to everything I do. I will always care for your dog with patience, reliability, and lots of affection, just like I would my own. I’m currently a university student in York, with lectures on Mondays and Thursdays from 10am–5pm. Outside of those hours, I’m fully available and have a very flexible schedule for walks, drop-ins, day care, and boarding. On lecture days, I’m still available before and after classes. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I make sure I only take bookings when I can give each dog the time, attention, and exercise they deserve. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my priority. My accommodation allows dogs, so I’m able to have them stay comfortably in my room with me while I study or work, meaning they won’t be left alone for long periods. I create a calm, clean, and secure environment and stick closely to your dog’s usual routine to help them feel settled. With my Level 3 Animal Care Diploma and knowledge of dog behaviour, I’m confident recognising body language, managing different temperaments, and ensuring every dog feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos for reassurance.
