About: I have extensive experience caring for a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and horses. About: Hi, I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and I’ve come back from university for a long holiday break and would love to welcome your dog into my family’s home to stay. I’m also available for dog walking and day care. We can offer a fenced and safe garden, comfortable sofa and plenty of time for cuddles, company, walks and playtime to all the dogs that stay with us. Our home is very dog friendly and full of treats and toys. We live local to the river and multiple green spaces for a variety of walks. Our family dog, Willow, is 5 years old, she’s an independent miniature poodle. I am happy to arrange a meet and greet before any booking if you would like to see how your dog gets on. I can also easily accommodate separate walks for your dog if you prefer. I want to make your pet feel like this is their home from home so if they have any special requests to make them feel comfortable then please feel free to ask 😁 I’m back from university so I’m available most days, including weekends. I will also be taking care of my own dog when my parents are at work, so I have plenty of time to spend with your dog. I can easily accommodate a dog crate, if your dog is happiest sleeping there. I have a medium-sized fenced garden and live close to Bootham park and the river for nice walks. Your dog is welcome on the sofa and my priority is making them welcome and comfortable.

As someone who spends much of the day working at a desk, I enjoy getting outside for walks. However, when back at my house, your pet will have plenty of companionship and attention throughout the day. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced, secure garden where dogs can safely enjoy time outdoors, as well as easy access to large green spaces nearby for regular walks and exercise. I'm happy to adapt to your pet's usual routine and any specific care requirements, including crate training, medication schedules, feeding routines, or sleeping arrangements. Just let me know your preferences in advance, and I'll do my best to keep their stay as familiar and stress-free as possible. I also have two cats at home. To ensure everyone's comfort and safety, they will be kept in a separate, secure area of the house throughout any dog boarding stay, so your dog can relax and enjoy the space.
“Kay took great care of Freddie (a Frenchie) when he was booked in for daycare. He was taken for a walks and felt relaxed enough to have a snooze in the sun when he was there too! Kay went the extra mile to get to know Freddie and I received updates on how he was doing, which was appreciated. She was also very understanding when the car I was travelling in broke down, causing me to be later than planned. I’d recommend Kay and hope to book in again soon.”
About: As a lifelong animal lover I started caring for dogs at age 15 when a new neighbour moved in with a beautiful black staffy. Since then I've taken any opportunity I can to walk and care for dogs. This was our first time using Rover and we were very impressed with the service. We met Jolene and her partner prior to leaving Lola with her so we felt comfortable handing her over for a few hours when we went out.
