Hi, I’m Vanessa, I live in Fulford, York with my husband Chris and our three beautiful and caring boys aged 7, 7 and 4. Caring for other peoples pets is something me and my children love to do. We began our pet-care journey in 2021, providing boarding, walking and daycare for many different breeds of dogs along with house visits for cats and rabbits. We also care for my parents and sister’s pets on a regular basis. We have a large fenced garden perfect for running around, lots of green spaces close to the house and a large playroom providing a cool, quiet place out of the sun. My children love animals and one day we will get a pet of our own, but for now we would love nothing more than to care for yours. Thank you for checking out my profile, have a great day.

I had no hesitation in booking Vanessa again to look after Harry. She and her family are wonderful with him - lots of walks, games and cuddles with her and the boys. Harry enjoyed a variety of walks, including at Filey Kite Festival. Vanessa really took time to understand Harry’s needs and his sleeping and eating schedules and managed them perfectly. Harry obviously loves them all! Vanessa sent us very regular pictures and updates so we were assured he was happy and safe. Thank you. It’s so wonderful to know Harry is cared for so well
Mabel had a brilliant day with Vanessa and her family. She had plenty of play, cuddles and exercise and Vanessa kept us updated which was great. We also really appreciated the meet and greet beforehand. We will definitely book again!
Vanessa has been brilliant throughout and her family taken such good care of Luna for us. Luna has come back so happy and ready for snooze. Lots of updates given and photos sent which made leaving her so much easier ☺️ thank you so much we would love to rebook in the future 😄

Vanessa and her boys took excellent care of Nino. We have really good communication throguht out since we booked online until the day. Nino had a lovely time and we would trust Vanessa again for other days going back to York. Thank you very much!
Harry had the best time with Vanessa and her boys. We got lovely photos of him enjoying himself with cuddles, ball playing and walking. He felt very comfortable with all the family and quickly commandeered a giant sleeping mat to snuggle down on. Vanessa’s house is set up for dogs to feel safe, to relax and to be stimulated. We couldn’t have been happier with his time at Vanessa’s.

I’m a stay at home mum. I have plenty of free time during the week and we are always happy to make time to look after your pets on a weekend.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large fenced back garden and we live a few minutes walk from multiple dog friendly green spaces. Lots of options for long and short walks. I can easily follow instructions for your routine for individual pets needs while providing care from our home or yours.
A typical day
Every pet is unique. Some pets love to play games, go for long walks or maybe they just want to have a quiet day in a safe and friendly environment. Whatever your dog enjoys we will provide them with everything they need to have a great day whilst in our care.
