We have a large fenced back garden and we live a few minutes walk from multiple dog friendly green spaces. Lots of options for long and short walks. I can easily follow instructions for your routine for individual pets needs while providing care from our home or yours.

Hi, I’m Vanessa, I live in Fulford, York with my husband Chris and our three beautiful and caring boys aged 7, 7 and 4. Caring for other peoples pets is something me and my children love to do. We began our pet-care journey in 2021, providing boarding, walking and daycare for many different breeds of dogs along with house visits for cats and rabbits. We also care for my parents and sister’s pets on a regular basis. We have a large fenced garden perfect for running around, lots of green spaces close to the house and a large playroom providing a cool, quiet place out of the sun. My children love animals and one day we will get a pet of our own, but for now we would love nothing more than to care for yours. Thank you for checking out my profile, have a great day.

Vanessa and her family are great with Benji! He loves his stays with them and I know he’s being taken really good care of. She sends frequent updates / pictures and always keeps him entertained! I feel very at ease and know he in very good hands :)
Vanessa was able to accommodate Chester very last minute as we were stuck with what to do with him due to unforeseen circumstances. She was very responsive to messages and very friendly to chat with. We aren’t from the area and have not used rover before therefore had some anxieties and reservations about leaving our dog Chester however Vanessa exceeded expectations and put us at ease immediately. I took Chester in and could already see how much love he would receive from Vanessa and her family, she sent me updates throughout the day including a photograph. If we were local or if we travel back to York we will absolutely use Vanessa again and would highly recommend!
Vanessa was absolutely brilliant! Booking was super easy and she was really helpful. She also accepted another family dog at the last minute. Winnie had a great time, got doggy ice cream and shattered from all the fun when we picked her up. Thank you so much!
Ruby had a lovely over night stay with Vanessa and family. She’s previously enjoyed day care with them. She enjoyed lots of walks and attention from Vanessa’s boys. She didn’t want to come home! Updates were shared throughout. She’s looking forward to another stay in a month!
