I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, having grown up with pets throughout my life. I'm confident in providing day-to-day care, including feeding, walking, administering medication, and ensuring pets are happy, safe, and well looked after. Growing up, whilst having my own family's pets, I also regularly walked dogs for neighbours, giving me experience with dogs of different sizes and personalities. I have also previously cat sat which included feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, and giving cats the attention and care they need while their owners are away.

Kate was a fantastic sitter and we highly recommend her to other pet owners! She cared for our 2 year-old fox red labrador, Margo, for 6 days and I don't think Margo wanted to leave when we got back! Kate obviously has a lot of experience with animals and was instantly comfortable with Margo, despite her being a little anxious and over excited when we first met! Kate followed all of our instructions, took Margo and some lovely walks, sent us updates on a daily basis and was even very relaxed and understanding when we got delayed on our journey home. We will definitely be using Kate again! Many thanks!
I really trust Kate with my dog Colin. She is very responsive and flexible and Colin is so happy to see her. He came home tired out and content from having fun all day. You can tell Kate really cares about animals and I feel confident leaving Colin with her as I know she will take good care of him

We booked Kate last minute for a weekend to look after our Puppy Freddie. She was great with him and he seemed very comfortable with her by the time we picked him up! Kate also sent lots of pictures and updates throughout the day which was so lovely! Definitely recommend and will be using in the future ☺️
Kate made us feel so comfortable and happy leaving Colin with her for the day (on his first birthday!). She was really flexible and responsive and you can tell she really loves animals and cares for them like they’re her own. I would recommend her to anyone :)

Schedule
I work from home at least three days a week, which means I can provide plenty of care and attention for pets during the week as well as at weekends. My flexible work schedule also allows me to fit in regular walks and drop-in visits. I live close to the racecourse, so have lots of green space nearby, making it the perfect location for walks and fresh air. Whether your dog loves long adventures or prefers a gentle stroll, I'm happy to tailor walks to their needs. I'm also available for pet sitting at your home, so they can stay comfortable in their familiar surroundings while you’re away. As someone who spends much of the day working at a desk, I enjoy getting outside for walks. However, when back at my house, your pet will have plenty of companionship and attention throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced, secure garden where dogs can safely enjoy time outdoors, as well as easy access to large green spaces nearby for regular walks and exercise. I'm happy to adapt to your pet's usual routine and any specific care requirements, including crate training, medication schedules, feeding routines, or sleeping arrangements. Just let me know your preferences in advance, and I'll do my best to keep their stay as familiar and stress-free as possible. I also have two cats at home. To ensure everyone's comfort and safety, they will be kept in a separate, secure area of the house throughout any dog boarding stay, so your dog can relax and enjoy the space.
