Freddie had a great time with Melanie & Lewis. We had a meet up beforehand where they asked lots of questions about Freddie so I knew he’d be well cared for. Just about to re-book them again.
Melanie and Lewis were fantastic, befriended Blue very quickly and making her stay with them memorable for Blue. I was so pleased with the photos and updates I received from them regularly. I will be more than happy to use them again and recommend them highly.
Morty had a gorgeous time with Melanie & Lewis. He was perfectly looked after (and spoilt!) and we got plenty of updates. Super happy and would definitely book again.
Mel & Lewis were the best dogsitters I could ask for. My dog couldn’t have been happier, and I couldn’t have asked for more trustworthy sitters. They always provided me with updates during the stay, and most importantly gave my blind pup all the love she needed. They recognised all her needs and made her feel at home from the beginning. Would reccommend them to anyone!
We were up at York races for the afternoon and left our dog with Melanie for a few hours. Melanie cared for her so well and was so flexible and accommodating with our drop off and pick up times. She kept us updated throughout with messages and photos. If you need a dog sitter in York, please do book Melanie!
I couldn’t recommend Melanie & Lewis more!!! With this being the first time I’ve ever left my dogs with a dog sitter rather than family or friends, I was nervous as they’re my babies but also nervous for my dogs. I have two whippets and one can be a nervous wreck. She’s not confident with other dogs and likes her space on walks but I made all of this known to Melanie & Lewis and they were so understanding. The second time my dogs went to Doggy Day Care, they were so excited to see Melanie & Lewis and couldn’t have ran off with them quick enough - I think that says everything. They’re both been great with communication before, during and after the booking. They’ve given me so many updates and photos which I’ve loved. They’re also such lovely people and are the best to look after your little babies. I’ll 100% be booking again!!! ❤️❤️

Schedule
I have a flexible work schedule, which means I work from home some days and have a very flexible schedule for dog walks, sitting and being taken out for bathroom breaks.

I live in a gated apartment building which has a fenced in Garden Space - which is a great bonus being so close to the city centre. Happy to take your pal on longer walks through the Forrest Areas near by, or somewhere more local like Roundhay or simply around the corner and beyond :)
A typical day
I love to go on long walks with dogs to stimulate them physically and mentally! I have tons of patience for dogs who love to sniff and energy for the ones who want to play games.
