About: I am 22 years old, from Boston Spa, Wetherby. Im active and love the outdoors where I spend my free time horse-riding. I recently graduated as an Equine Sports Science graduate, the study of horse biology and exercise physiology, which also covers cats and dogs, due to similarities. I’ve gained better knowledge of animal health/welfare, understanding of behaviour and first aid, all of which can be transferred to pet sitting. I’ve had the pleasure of having pets my entire life from family dogs, cats and horses, therefore, have a good understanding on how they work. I have previous experience in pet sitting as for the past few years I have dog sat as a part time job, gaining knowledge on caring for other dogs/cats on a deeper level, living with them in their own home whilst learning how pet sitting works (I can provide multiple references, if requested). In 2021, I travelled to Aruba for 3 months for work experience with animals. I shadowed at the local vets and worked at a sanctuary. After this I worked at an equine retraining centre in Australia for 4 months and lived with a family, caring for their 6 dachshunds and one great Dane! I understand every animal is unique, which is why I approach each pet with a tailored, gentle and professional mindset. With a strong background in animal care and genuine love for them, I create a stress-free environment where pets feel happy in their home. I am currently living at home in Boston Spa with my car, so im available whenever needed ! I have a couple part time jobs along side. I have a fenced off garden and live in the countryside, therefore there’s plenty of good walking routes. I have a cockerdore at home give them company. I also own a cat, so only cat friendly dogs please.

About: In my life I have had the pleasure of living with and looking after a variety of animals. From kittens to doberman puppies- i love all animals! I especially enjoy working with and caring for dogs, whether they need extra attention due to age or health, or they prefer their own space. I’m sure I would be able to take care of their needs 😊 I currently work in shifts but am very flexible; I can have time off if/when required and can also nip home throughout the day to check in on your loved one! I only work 5 minutes away and have a camera to set up if your dog is ok to be left alone for periods. I live alone in my house and in my spare time love to cook, walk and read books. Your companion will fit right in! I have a camera and baby gate at the bottom of my stairs to keep your companion in a secure environment, however if acceptable to you i am happy for them to go upstairs and on furniture. I am happy to go by your rules!

About: My husband and I have looked after dogs for a number of years. These have varied, from puppies to adults, small to large, as well as high energy, confident to more nervous rescue dogs. What their stay looks like, is shaped around the needs of the dogs, their current routines, enrichment activities, exciting walks and any specific requests from their owners. We are passionate about creating an environment where a dog can thrive and develop in a home away from home. We have our own gorgeous pooch called Bonnie. She is very relaxed around other dogs, as she has socialised with dogs both inside and outside the home since we adopted her in 2024. She's very independent and calm in the house, but loves to explore with her fellow dogs when out and about on a walk. We also volunteer at a dog shelter, where we walk, train and lead enrichment activities with Romanian Rescue dogs. Through this experience working with a brilliant dog trainer and head of the charity, we understand that every dog is totally different, therefore, their care plan and routine need to reflect as much and be tailored to their personalities. As a result, we are confident with rescue dogs or those who are anxious and less confident. We typically take the dogs out for a morning walk, which will be roughly an hour. I work full time from home, which allows me to be home all day with the dogs. We will then have a shorter second walk, with playtime and enrichment thrown in! We have a fenced garden, as well as a field two minutes from our house, where dogs have plenty of space to run and play as they wish!

“Kay took great care of Freddie (a Frenchie) when he was booked in for daycare. He was taken for a walks and felt relaxed enough to have a snooze in the sun when he was there too! Kay went the extra mile to get to know Freddie and I received updates on how he was doing, which was appreciated. She was also very understanding when the car I was travelling in broke down, causing me to be later than planned. I’d recommend Kay and hope to book in again soon.”

About: I've been around dogs since childhood, and three years ago, my family and I adopted our lovely Britney/Staffy cross, Coco, after finding her abandoned while on holiday in Spain. Coco is 5 years old and very loves nothing more than making new doggy friends. We love local walks to the cafe at lunch and going further afield at weekends and would love to have your dog along with us. We also have a large enclosed garden for plenty of outdoor fun during the day! I work from home three days a week and my husband works from home full time so someone will always be around the house. We walk our dog Coco three times a day, and allow plenty of time in the garden between walks. My husband usually walks to a local cafe at lunch for a good one hour walk with the dog. We have a large and totally enclosed back garden and a large open plan living area downstairs. Your dog will be free to wander around the house and hangout with our dog Coco. If we have to pop out for a short time we ensure access to a comfy bed and water at all times.

Because of my long working hours, we've never been in a position to have a dog of our own, but our family is absolutely dog-mad! I love any opportunity to care for dogs, whether that's pet-sitting for friends or taking their dogs out for walks. Having grown up in a home full of pets, including both dogs and cats, I've always been surrounded by animals and understand the love, care, and attention they need. About: I love dogs and cats. From childhood, both myself and my husband have always had them as pets and our home would not be complete without one! We enjoy their companionship and caring for them, which we have many years of experience and we are trustworthy and reliable. We have a calm and relaxed home with a secure garden and have lots of lovely walks from our doorstep. Our pets are well socialised and accepting and we are all very much looking forward to welcoming your beloved pet into our home! I am at home during the day and at weekends and always make sure I take care of my own pets needs and so I would do exactly the same with all dogs that are staying with us. I would ensure I followed the owner’s instructions and I would keep them updated. I would keep a good routine, with feeding, making sure their pets food is fresh in clean bowls with access to fresh water. I would exercise them to suit their needs. I am happy to bathe, brush, clean teeth if they allow but I do not clip nails. I would give medication according to owner’s instructions. I would ensure harnesses, leads are secure before leaving on a walk and car restraints are secured before transporting. Pets are allowed on our chairs and sofas and beds and I would like them to feel safe, relaxed and comfortable. I can crate if required. I would give positive praise and attention, helping your pet to feel at home and relaxed as possible while staying with us.
