“Sally couldn't give better care to my reactive border collie. With all the walks, play at home and her ability to help her calm down and relax I feel fully confident leaving Peppa in her care.”

“Kelsie watches Maggie overnight and was an exceptional dog boarder. She had great communication and was incredibly easy to arrange. Kelsie was great with Maggie, and her sweet dog was a tremendous co-host. Maggie had a great time and is looking forward to staying over again in the future!”

“Anastasia did an absolutely fantastic job looking after our puppy. She asked all the right questions beforehand, which really reassured us that he was in great hands, and she kept us updated throughout with messages and photos. It was clear he was very well cared for and happy with her. Thank you so much - we wouldn’t hesitate to book again!”

“Our 9-month-old whippet/staffy mix had a great time with Kelly! Her three other dogs kept him entertained, and Kelly sent us daily updates and cute photos from the dog park. He came home happy, healthy and tired! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kelly to anyone else who is looking for a really capable sitter.”

“Lovely family and really cared for my Iris bedlington terrier. Sent lots of photos which really reassured us as it was the first time we have left her behind and was quite nervous and sad about leaving her. Can't recommend Kirsty and the rest of her wonderful family and will definitely be using their services if and when we next dare go away!”

“Our dog, Olivia, had such a wonderful stay with Dawn and her family! We got lots of adorable photo and video updates of her adventures and we're 100% thrilled we've found such a fantastic sitter for Olivia! Thanks again Dawn!”

“Sweep loves staying with Sophie and Adam. They look after him really well and provide us with regular updates so we can relax and enjoy our holiday knowing sweep is happy.”

“We were so happy with our decision to have Gregory board with Jennifer and her family. Shortly after making the booking, Jennifer reached out and we planned a short pre-meet before so that Gregory and her lovely dog Coco could meet, and we could share some information about them both. It was clear immediately that Jennifer and her family very much cared about making sure Gregory was going to have a comfortable stay with them, and he definitely did. During the boarding, Jennifer kept us updated with pictures of Gregory doing all his favourite things and he looked to be having an absolute splendid time, seemingly as comfortable as he would be in his own home! We will definitely be asking Jennifer to look after Gregory again in the future! 5 stars.”

“My dog took to Ben immediately, so I was sure they were going to have a great time together while I’m on vacation! It was so nice to find someone like Ben who is so trustworthy and obviously has a great rapport with dogs. I asked him to send me my dog’s photos as I missed him so much, so Ben did. In every photo I could see that my dog was absolutely enjoying his staying on maximum, he’s being loved and taken good care of. Would 100 percent recommend him to doggie parents, and I would use Ben’s services again any chance I got.”

“Our first time using Helen and she was fantastic; her communication and professionalism were apparent from the outset, as was her warmth and caring nature. Our retriever was grumpy when he got home which shows he’d rather have stayed with her 🤣”

“Helen and Andy were absolutely amazing with our dog, Kobe! This was Kobe’s first time staying away from home, so we were a bit nervous— especially since he’s an energetic miniature cockapoo, but they made the entire experience really good and reassuring. From the start, it was clear they were both experienced with handling high-energy dogs. Kobe instantly took to them, which says a lot. They kept him active, engaged, and happy the whole time, and we could tell he was getting plenty of attention and care. We also really appreciated the regular updates—they gave us peace of mind knowing Kobe was doing great and having fun (especially playing with Bonnie!). We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Helen and Andy again! Thank you!”

“First time leaving our boy overnight and couldn’t have chosen a better sitter! Sarah is so lovely and really does make sure everything is perfect. Multiple updates throughout the night and even let us go over a few weeks before to make sure Victor would be okay. It’s super reassuring knowing we’ve found someone who goes above and beyond to look after Victor when family members can’t!”

“I have used Amanda to look after our old lady Pippa twice now and her service, communication and warmth puts us at such ease. She has a heart of gold and would trust her anytime to look after our dog!”

About: Though I never owned a cat, I have provided cat care to friends, family and some booked through Rover on multiple occasions, I am comfortable with administering cat medications, feeding and cleaning litter.

About: I’m an experienced cat owner and understand that every cat has their own personality, routine and boundaries. I offer patient, dependable care during drop-in visits and house sitting, including feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning, playtime, cuddles when welcomed and plenty of quiet company. I’m also happy to keep your home tidy, bring in post and send regular photo updates so you know your cat is safe and settled.

I wouldn’t hesitate to have Jordan stay again and would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”

About: I have taken care of friends cats for many years, one of which is an elderly deaf cat. More recently I have looked after a dog and a cat together while their family was on holiday and really enjoyed looking after the cat (as well as the dog) so have expanded my availability.

About: My experience with cats began early, caring for two very shy neighborhood cats who taught me the importance of patience, calm energy, and earning trust on their terms. Later, I spent four years caring for a shop cat I saw every day and grew deeply bonded with. I became her trusted companion and quiet confidant, learning how to read subtle cues, respect boundaries, and provide comfort without overwhelming. I’m especially comfortable with reserved or sensitive cats and pride myself on creating a calm, reassuring environment where they feel safe and understood.

About: I'm currently a student Occupational Therapist who is really missing my family's pets while I'm at uni! 🐾 I love animals and know how important they are as valued members of the family! As a teenager I volunteered for the Cats Protection League and would clean litter trays for people in my local area who couldn't do so themselves. I would often dogsit for neighbours, and have even looked after someone's pet frogs before! 🐾 I adapt to whatever style of care your pet needs - some pets value calm and slow paced interactions, and some pets seem to have unlimited amounts of energy! My goal is to keep your pet happy in a style that is closest to their normal. 🐾 I am a very clean person, who will send regular updates via text and video. I have a fully enhanced DBS, and solid references :) 🐾

About: I have had cats my entire life. I just love furry felines! I have just gotten 2 perfect little british shorthairs! They bring me such joy! As a retired lady I know the worry of leaving your cats when you go away. I promise that I will look after your furry friend(s) like they are my own!😻

About: Hi, I'm Helene 👋 I'm a Registered Veterinary Nurse with 6 years of hands on experience. I currently work nights at an emergency referral hospital in York, and before that spent 2 years at a first opinion practice in London. Animals aren't just my job, they're my whole life outside of work too. At home I have two rescue cats and a dog, all of whom I adore. One of my cats is geriatric and needs daily subcutaneous fluids and medication, so I'm very comfortable with ongoing treatments, injections, and medication schedules. My dog is also getting on in years and attends hydrotherapy sessions, so I understand the extra care, patience, and gentle handling that older pets often need. I still make time for long walks and hikes with him, along with plenty of cuddles on the sofa. I've pet and house sat in both Norway and the UK, and cat sat regularly through my work, so I'm used to settling quickly into different homes and routines. Whether your pet needs medication given properly, an eye kept on a health condition, mobility support, or just a calm and familiar face while you're away, I will treat them exactly like my own. I have a car, so I'm happy to travel to you. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets!

“Kelsie was great. She even took the time to meet up for a little walk before hand to see how my dog was with her lovely border collie. There is a wonderful field just seconds from the house for walks. Highly recommend!”

“Our dog has such a lovely time with Amrita and her gorgeous dogs. It’s wonderful to know that she is happy and safe. Their house is gorgeous and they take really good care to make sure all of her needs are met.”

“Kay took great care of Freddie (a Frenchie) when he was booked in for daycare. He was taken for a walks and felt relaxed enough to have a snooze in the sun when he was there too! Kay went the extra mile to get to know Freddie and I received updates on how he was doing, which was appreciated. She was also very understanding when the car I was travelling in broke down, causing me to be later than planned. I’d recommend Kay and hope to book in again soon.”

About: My husband and I have looked after dogs for a number of years. These have varied, from puppies to adults, small to large, as well as high energy, confident to more nervous rescue dogs. What their stay looks like, is shaped around the needs of the dogs, their current routines, enrichment activities, exciting walks and any specific requests from their owners. We are passionate about creating an environment where a dog can thrive and develop in a home away from home. We have our own gorgeous pooch called Bonnie. She is very relaxed around other dogs, as she has socialised with dogs both inside and outside the home since we adopted her in 2024. She's very independent and calm in the house, but loves to explore with her fellow dogs when out and about on a walk. We also volunteer at a dog shelter, where we walk, train and lead enrichment activities with Romanian Rescue dogs. Through this experience working with a brilliant dog trainer and head of the charity, we understand that every dog is totally different, therefore, their care plan and routine need to reflect as much and be tailored to their personalities. As a result, we are confident with rescue dogs or those who are anxious and less confident. We typically take the dogs out for a morning walk, which will be roughly an hour. I work full time from home, which allows me to be home all day with the dogs. We will then have a shorter second walk, with playtime and enrichment thrown in! We have a fenced garden, as well as a field two minutes from our house, where dogs have plenty of space to run and play as they wish!
“Sue was wonderful with our cavapoo Toby. She scheduled a meet and greet before so he had his bearings, provided regular updates and pictures/ videos through the day and took him on two walks. Would recommend Sue to anyone in the area looking for daycare!”

“What a woman?! From the off, Claires correspondance and communication was brilliant! We had a weird circumstance that we couldn't meet beforehand to introduce her, as we were travelling from outside the area, for just a short amount of time. This didn't put her off though, and despite me never having used Rover before, she seemed the perfect fit for my slightly nervous wee boy! On rocking up, she made him feel welcome immediately. She gave the fuss pot a wee chew, then took him down to her fully enclosed courtyard garden and let himself sniff about whilst tossing a squeak ball for him. She sent me photos throughout the day. (Though our signal was poor, we had them through all at once which was lovely!) On pick up he was happy to see us, but also not in any rush to leave! Thank you Claire for looking after my boy with such care. If we are ever in the area again and needed help, I would not hesitate to reach out!”

“Kate made us feel so comfortable and happy leaving Colin with her for the day (on his first birthday!). She was really flexible and responsive and you can tell she really loves animals and cares for them like they’re her own. I would recommend her to anyone :)”

“Vanessa and her family were lovely with Maya and she has come back happy, and ready for bed! Vanessa sent lovely photos of Maya and her home felt a safe welcoming place to leave my lovely dog. Will definitely take Maya back there. Thanks!”

“First visit. Thomas has a quiet, calm manner which suits my dog, Freddie. He took him to Roundhay Park where Freddie walked happily. Freddie spent the afternoon snoozing and when I picked him up, he was pleased to see me but had apparently been settled and content with Thomas.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs since being a little child. From being puppies to adult hood I have the experience and knowledge of how dogs can behave and interact. I understand how dogs may react differently depending on the situation and how to manage this. I currently work from home full time 5 days a week on weekdays. This gives me more flexibility regarding my work life balance along with my home life. I also have access to a car. In order to care for pets in the owners home I will get to know the animal and have through interactions with them in order to access their needs. Conversations with the owners will also provide me with more information in order to care for them in the best possible way.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and caring for them has always come naturally to me. For the past decade, I’ve owned and cared for more specialized pets like ferrets, which has given me a deep understanding of patience, attentiveness, and individualized care. I especially love dogs and have experience training puppies as well as caring for senior dogs who need a little extra gentleness and support. No dog feels unfamiliar to me, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I'm available most (if not all) days of the week currently and have plenty of time in my day to care for your loving pet. I'll care for your pet in your own home to your standards and instructions including play, treats, and meals. I can also care for them in my home, but have only a limited terraced garden space for them to play outside (my home is big for roaming, for more indoor inclined dogs).

I currently provide pet sitting and walking in addition to my current full time job for friends and family. This includes looking after my sister’s 11 month old puppy and training where possible. I am currently working full time Monday to Friday in a college. With my weekends free, I work from home on Mondays and Fridays which allow me to pet sit on these days, I can do overnight stays so long as I don’t have an event. With my job I sometimes do overtime which allows me to book off additional days for pet sitting should I need to. “Thomas and his partner are excellent dog carers we left Rosie our Border Collie with them for a few days and she clearly had a great time. They are genuine dog lovers which both we as the owners and Rosie as the spoilt brat, really appreciated…I would highly recommend them.”

“We left our sight hound with Barry while we went on an extended holiday. Our dog got on really well with his Saluki and it seemed to have as much a holiday as we did. Barry left regular updates and pictures and we could see how much fun they were having. I'd be more than happy to leave our pets with Barry on the future!”

“This was our 5-month old’s first dog-boarding/ away from home experience. Mark and Helen looked after our little guy like one of their own. Our pup seemed to bond with them straight away, and had the best time staying with them. The family sent us frequent updates, and alerted us to anything they felt we should know. We particularly liked the fact that our pup had the chance to bond and socialise with other dogs during his stay. We cannot recommend Mark and Helen enough. We are very grateful for the care and love our pup received, and will definitely be returning in the future! Xx”

“Amazing care. Winnie, our little pup, had a fab time with Sarah, the girls and her dog. We had regular updates and photos and overall we are extremely happy. We have booked Sarah for another few times when we are away as we were delighted.”
