“Maddie was super patient with our 3 month old puppy, Haribo. This was a booking made on extremely short notice due to a last minute cancellation by another sitter, and so we were extremely lucky that Maddie agreed to take him in for 2 nights. Moreover, she took the time to meet him before the booking and immediately put my and my husband's minds at ease. Haribo was definitely well-taken care of. She was very keen on sticking to his routines, was very caring and affectionate towards him. She took him to the dog park, watched Bluey with him, snuggled with him on the sofa, and took him out regularly. He had accidents but Maddie was so understanding about everything. Haribo def had the time of his life and is a happy pup 😍 we have requested another booking with her because she's amazing!”

About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was a child. I have had a Cane Corso and a French Bulldog. I am extremely responsible and treat all dogs I sit as my own. In the past year I took full time care of a French bulldog whilst his owner was at work. This included looking after him 7am - 5pm involving everything from feeding, walkies, playtime to bathing, brushing and sleepovers. My schedule is flexible as I work from home most of the week. I can also sit during the weekends, overnight or do stays when you go on a holiday. I always ensure maximum safety for my dogs. Depending on their personality, I remove objects they might chew / eat. I have them on the lead unless it is safe for them to be off and you give me prior permission. I ensure they have access to water at all times. I do not leave them alone at any time to ensure they are safe and are well taken care of.

About: Hi! I am a recent university graduate who is now living at home. My job allows me to work entirely from home so I’m always on hand to take care of your pet! I’ve owned and cared for dogs and various other pets (cats, rabbits, chickens etc) since I can remember and I would care for yours as if they were my own. I live in a detached house with a sizeable, fenced garden in a secluded area on the edge of Tadcaster so there’s easy access to great walking areas nearby. Please don’t hesitate to request any more information or ask any questions, if you have them! I am currently working full time but entirely from home so I’ll always be around! And if I’m not for a couple hours (eg I have rugby training every Tuesday and Thursday 7-9pm) then my parents will be. I have a completely fenced off, large garden area for your pet to run around and explore. We don’t allow dogs upstairs in our house but there is a room where they can get up on the sofas (we have covers), however if this is something you don’t allow in your home then we will, of course, follow suit.

About: My husband and I have looked after dogs for a number of years. These have varied, from puppies to adults, small to large, as well as high energy, confident to more nervous rescue dogs. What their stay looks like, is shaped around the needs of the dogs, their current routines, enrichment activities, exciting walks and any specific requests from their owners. She is very relaxed around other dogs, as she has socialised with dogs both inside and outside the home since we adopted her in 2024. We also volunteer at a dog shelter, where we walk, train and lead enrichment activities with Romanian Rescue dogs. Through this experience working with a brilliant dog trainer and head of the charity, we understand that every dog is totally different, therefore, their care plan and routine need to reflect as much and be tailored to their personalities. As a result, we are confident with rescue dogs or those who are anxious and less confident. We typically take the dogs out for a morning walk, which will be roughly an hour. I work full time from home, which allows me to be home all day with the dogs. We will then have a shorter second walk, with playtime and enrichment thrown in! About: Ash and I are experienced dog sitters who absolutely adore looking after all kinds of dogs and learning about their unique personalities. We have both grown up around dogs, and since moving in together 5 years ago, have looked after dogs of various breeds and sizes in our bungalow together. We have been trusted and relied upon to provide day care for dogs, taking them out on long or short walks, depending on what the dog needs, and having dogs stay over for a couple of weeks at a time while their owners have been on holiday. We make sure to share regular updates of what their pooch has been up to, and videos of them making themselves at home and having fun out on their walks! If a dog has a particular schedule, we stick to this as we understand this is very important. We have our own private garden with fencing around, to ensure the dogs safety, and are a short distance away from some gorgeous walks to keep the dogs entertained. We love taking dogs out for the day to the beach, or to a large open space where they can burn off some energy and have fun, before coming home for lots of snuggles and fussing. We have looked after dogs from separate homes at the same time before, and they have boarded with us too. We have had may dogs board with us over the last year especially and have gained lots of experience from having many different breeds of dog stay with us. Ash currently works Monday to Friday 8:30am til 5pm in Malton. I work Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm in schools in York. For this reason, half terms and school holidays would be the only time I would be around during the week to ensure that no pet was left alone for too long a time. The service I work for is an all year round service, so I may still be working in the holidays, however this is from home so I will be around. Otherwise we are often around on weekends and would mark ourselves down as unavailable if we have plans. We would also be available on evenings after work to walk your pet, if we had sufficient notice of when this would be needed. We live in a semi-detached bungalow and have a fenced private garden which ensures all pets safety, and allows them regular access outside. We have had many pets stay inside our home, whether they sleep in a crate or not. We would ask to have any information for a pet’s veterinary service when you leave them with us in case of emergencies. We thankfully have never had to use any veterinary details before but this would just be for emergencies.

I can also care for them in my home, but have only a limited terraced garden space for them to play outside (my home is big for roaming, for more indoor inclined dogs).

I have experience looking after people’s kittens/cats/senior cats and also puppies/adult dogs and senior dogs. I have medication administration experience as our old senior cat had medical conditions which required medication. I honestly can’t imagine life without furry cuddles, wagging tails and throwing balls. Luna is friendly and loves to play with her furry friends. She is sweet natured and loves her teddies and cuddles. She has lots of friends but is reactive on walks, especially to dogs running up to her so I always have chicken or cheese in my pocket. I am lucky enough to be a 5 minute walk to beautiful countryside and a river, which provides some fantastic routes for four legged friends. Luna is in the river daily she loves the water. I treat all of our furry visitors as if they were my own. I provide a home from home so that you can be reassured your dog is being well cared for and they can relax and enjoy their stay. I work shifts so understand that life isn’t 9-5, on my days off when marked as available I can be fully flexible to your dogs needs, whether that is a short stroll or a much longer walk to burn of that bound up energy. I can cater to all schedules for walking and feeding and am happy to board pets in my home. I can stay in your home if this suits your pets needs better but I would need to bring Luna with me. I have an enclosed garden which we spend a fair bit of time in as Luna loves being outside. If you have any particular routines or rules you would like us to follow, then these will be respected. I am a shift worker and self employed so my days off are days off and I am home all day to look after your furry friend. About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was a child. I have had a Cane Corso and a French Bulldog. I am extremely responsible and treat all dogs I sit as my own. In the past year I took full time care of a French bulldog whilst his owner was at work. This included looking after him 7am - 5pm involving everything from feeding, walkies, playtime to bathing, brushing and sleepovers. My schedule is flexible as I work from home most of the week. I can also sit during the weekends, overnight or do stays when you go on a holiday. I always ensure maximum safety for my dogs. Depending on their personality, I remove objects they might chew / eat. I have them on the lead unless it is safe for them to be off and you give me prior permission. I ensure they have access to water at all times. I do not leave them alone at any time to ensure they are safe and are well taken care of.
