About: Growing up my extended family always had dogs, huskies, collies, spaniels etc! I currently work part time but have time when I’m at home to look after a pet. I work part time so have lots of time to take care of your 4 legged friend! Happy to adapt to their schedule whilst they enjoy a holiday in my home. I have a fenced garden and no other pets so your dog will have my full attention. I live near fields and walking routes so plenty of exercise available too!

About: I had my own Labrador for 9 years and went through the fun of training him, enjoying the outdoors with him. Also medicating him as well, whether that be being able to get him to take tablets or syringe fluid in the mouth. This is my full time job and while my availability throughout the week is bookable. During the weekends I’ll be tailored with my bookings. When it comes to dog walking I offer 1:1 walks. Therefore you know your dog will get all the attention. When it comes to pet sitting, I’ll take your dog/s out for a 30 min walk and for cats I’ll follow the instructions you layout.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old and have always had a passion for animals. About: I previous worked in a dog kennels and cattery this gave me lots of experience working with all different types of dogs and cats, and how to manage different pets differently. As well as this I have a T-level in animal behavioural welfare that has educated me on how to look after animals correctly. I’ve always had dogs of my own growing up and I always treat other peoples pets like they’re my own. Working with dogs and cats alone I’ve had over a decade of experience growing up with them but in a working environment I’ve had four years. I’m currently working part-time working at least once every weekend and on the afternoon during the week this gives me plenty of time to look after pets in the morning or around work. I have studied animal behaviour and welfare and have worked in a dog kennels and cattery before therefore I know how to care for a range of dogs and cats. Both my dogs are very friendly and well trained.

About: I’ve had 2 Shih Tzu over my life time which I’ve trained since they were pups,I understand that dogs can often be a important member of the family from experience,I have experienced handling bigger dogs and playing with them but unfortunately until now i have not had the opportunity to have one. I’m currently in education from 9-4 every week day however after 5 I’m more then gladly be available so I'll have plenty of time to play with your dogs! And I'm available for boarding at weekends. I have spaces room for them to chill and eat,don’t have a garden but hopefully able to take them to the park which is down the road💪😁

Claire came every day on time, gave us regular updates with photos, and most importantly, took the time to play with the cats and make them feel comfortable. About: I took part-time care of my best-friend’s old dog and her cute cat! Meaning I can handle sick pets and have a lot of patience with specific needs. Additionally, my whole life I’ve been trusted with the care of my younger relatives, who are extremely frantic and unpredictable so I can tackle hard situations easily. As a full time a level student, I only do weekends any time between 8-5pm. This may vary further during holidays as I will take weekday bookings. Unfortunately I cannot offer taking any pet into care of my home due to personal reasons, but it may depend if I can house sit for a small duration. Ultimately I will be only prioritising dog walking as it is the most accessible to me.

About: I have had dogs my whole life and always been around dogs and loved them. I have just finished my year as the President of Dog Society at the University of York, bringing dogs to campus each week for students to meet and play with when they’re feeling homesick. I’ve got experience feeding, walking, washing and caring for a variety of sized dogs, from Miniature Dachshunds to Dalmatians and everything in between. I also have experience of giving dogs and cats pill based medication - even to pets that really hate them! My own dog loves to run off on walks so I’ve got plenty of experience with dogs who are escape artists so I’m well aware of all their tricks! I like to meet with you and your dog before hand to get to know you both and give you peace of mind when I look after them. I am at home in Sussex until end of August when I am then back in York full time I have just graduated from the University of York and now work Monday to Friday however I am flexible and am around on the weekends so have lots of time for looking after your dog. I am happy to look after your dog, just message me and we can sort a time that suits. I’m willing to become a regular helping hand for your dog. I am unable to care for pets in my own home at the moment due to renting my home however I am confident walking dogs and caring for them in your own home.

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was a young child. I’ve dealt with dogs with medical issues, mobility issues and senior dogs. I love taking them for walks and bonding with them. About: Hi, I'm Helene 👋 I'm a Registered Veterinary Nurse with 6 years of hands on experience. I currently work nights at an emergency referral hospital in York, and before that spent 2 years at a first opinion practice in London. At home I have two rescue cats and a dog. One of my cats is geriatric and needs daily subcutaneous fluids and medication, so I'm very comfortable with ongoing treatments, injections, and medication schedules. My dog is also getting older, and attends hydrotherapy sessions amongst other, so I understand the extra care, patience, and gentle handling that older pets often need. I still make time for long walks and hikes with her, along with plenty of cuddles on the sofa. I've pet and house sat in both Norway and the UK, and cat sat regularly through my work, so I'm used to settling quickly into different homes and routines. Whether your pet needs medication, an eye kept on a health condition, mobility support, or just a calm and familiar face while you're away, I will treat them exactly like my own. I have a car, so I'm happy to travel to you 😊 I work night shifts on a rotating schedule, which means I get several consecutive days off at a time. When I'm off, your pet gets my full attention, with no other job or commitments competing for my time. I'm available all day, every day during those periods, so there's plenty of flexibility for walks, visits, feeding, medication, or just company, whatever your pet needs. Because of my schedule, it's worth reaching out with your dates in advance so we can plan around my rotation, but once I'm booked in, you can expect consistency and full attention for the whole time I'm looking after your pet. While I'm unable to host animals at my current residence, I'm available for dog walking, playtime in parks, or coming to your home to care for your pet. I know it can be stressful for an animal to have a stranger in their home, so I therefore fully believe following routines and your normal day is essential for good care. As a qualified RVN, I'm trained in CPR, emergency procedures, and animal behaviour, so your pet will be in safe, experienced hands.

About: Ever since a young age, i have taken care of all animals due to family and friends pets. My Grandmother, who had 7 dogs and 3 cats, taught me how to care for animals both stray and tamed from the age of a puppy to an elderly dog. This taught me many skills on how to care for animals, fulfilling not only their physical needs but emotional too. I am currently on the summer break with no jobs and no upcoming holidays trying to save for university and will therefore be free daily for anyone who needs any pet sitters or dog walkers. I currently only have a cat at the moment as my dog lives with my dad in Scotland, however, i can ensure your pet, whether thats a dog, cat or other, will be kept safe and entertained. As long as boundaries regarding the animal are understood beforehand they will be kept safe and secure.

About: I have experience looking after dogs of all sizes and ages, cats, guinea pigs & hamsters over the past 15 years and have loved them since I was young. I have an enclosed yard for animals to play in and live very close to a field with a long walk too where dogs can be let off the lead and run around exploring new places and faces! Please let me know if there is anything I need to know about your dog eg if your dog doesn't like being around other dogs or has special requirements and then I can plan for it!
