About: I have had dogs my whole life and always been around dogs and loved them. I have just finished my year as the President of Dog Society at the University of York, bringing dogs to campus each week for students to meet and play with when they’re feeling homesick. I’ve got experience feeding, walking, washing and caring for a variety of sized dogs, from Miniature Dachshunds to Dalmatians and everything in between. I also have experience of giving dogs and cats pill based medication - even to pets that really hate them! My own dog loves to run off on walks so I’ve got plenty of experience with dogs who are escape artists so I’m well aware of all their tricks! I like to meet with you and your dog before hand to get to know you both and give you peace of mind when I look after them. I am at home in Sussex until end of August when I am then back in York full time I have just graduated from the University of York and now work Monday to Friday however I am flexible and am around on the weekends so have lots of time for looking after your dog. I am happy to look after your dog, just message me and we can sort a time that suits. I’m willing to become a regular helping hand for your dog. I am unable to care for pets in my own home at the moment due to renting my home however I am confident walking dogs and caring for them in your own home.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old and have always had a passion for animals. Having grown up around dogs and cared for my own, I have developed a strong understanding of their needs, routines, and behaviours. I am home full-time and available seven days a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility for dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I understand that every pet has their own routine and personality, and I always take the time to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I have my own Lhasa Apso called Romeo, who I walk twice a day, so I understand the importance of regular exercise, mental stimulation, and companionship. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, shorter strolls, playtime, or simply having company, I am happy to tailor my care to their individual needs.

About: Ever since a young age, i have taken care of all animals due to family and friends pets. My Grandmother, who had 7 dogs and 3 cats, taught me how to care for animals both stray and tamed from the age of a puppy to an elderly dog. This taught me many skills on how to care for animals, fulfilling not only their physical needs but emotional too. I am currently on the summer break with no jobs and no upcoming holidays trying to save for university and will therefore be free daily for anyone who needs any pet sitters or dog walkers. I currently only have a cat at the moment as my dog lives with my dad in Scotland, however, i can ensure your pet, whether thats a dog, cat or other, will be kept safe and entertained. As long as boundaries regarding the animal are understood beforehand they will be kept safe and secure.

About: I have grown up with a variety of animals my entire life, all varying in ages and sizes. I currently provide pet sitting and walking in addition to my current full time job for friends and family. This includes looking after my sister’s 11 month old puppy and training where possible. I am currently working full time Monday to Friday in a college. With my weekends free, I work from home on Mondays and Fridays which allow me to pet sit on these days, I can do overnight stays so long as I don’t have an event. With my job I sometimes do overtime which allows me to book off additional days for pet sitting should I need to. I prefer looking after pets in the pet owners home as I believe pets deserve to feel at home and safe, what safer space is there for them than a space they live in. I also have a 1 year and 4-month-old Cockapoo who’s fully house-trained, very friendly, and loves the company of other animals — so your pet will have a happy playmate! Inside, pets have full access to the home, comfy spots to relax, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I keep to their usual routines, whether that’s feeding, walks, or quiet time, and make sure they feel safe and settled. In a pet owner’s home, I respect their space and routines. I make sure your pet feels comfortable in their own environment, follow all care instructions carefully, and provide regular updates so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.

About: I grew up on a farm and have lots of experience looking after all animals. I grew up with golden retrievers, labs, spaniels, huskys and looked after multiple other breeds. I am a PE teacher who has time off during the holidays and loves spending it with animals and the outdoors. I am a teacher so I have a large amount of free time in the holidays that I love spending outdoors. I also have weekends free where I can spend boarding for dogs. I have a fully enclosed garden and a perfect amount of space for more than one or two dogs if necessary. I have a car if needed to be collected.

About: I have loved dogs my whole life and have had my own gorgeous cockapoo since I was 12! She is my very best friend I absolutely adore looking after her. Since moving from my family home I have missed the fluffy companionship so will treat your dog as if they were my very own🤍 I have experience in walking and looking after dogs from various breeds. Being self employed means I have a very flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time to your fluffy friend. I’m happy to work around their usual routine and can be available for weekday, evening, and weekend care whenever needed. I take safety and trust very seriously and always make sure dogs are closely supervised, both at home and on walks. About: I took part-time care of my best-friend’s old dog and her cute cat! Meaning I can handle sick pets and have a lot of patience with specific needs. Additionally, my whole life I’ve been trusted with the care of my younger relatives, who are extremely frantic and unpredictable so I can tackle hard situations easily. As a full time a level student, I only do weekends any time between 8-5pm. This may vary further during holidays as I will take weekday bookings. Unfortunately I cannot offer taking any pet into care of my home due to personal reasons, but it may depend if I can house sit for a small duration. Ultimately I will be only prioritising dog walking as it is the most accessible to me.

About: Hi, I'm Helene 👋 I'm a Registered Veterinary Nurse with 6 years of hands on experience. I currently work nights at an emergency referral hospital in York, and before that spent 2 years at a first opinion practice in London. At home I have two rescue cats and a dog, all of whom I adore. One of my cats is geriatric and needs daily subcutaneous fluids and medication, so I'm very comfortable with ongoing treatments, injections, and medication schedules. My dog is also getting on in years and attends hydrotherapy sessions, so I understand the extra care, patience, and gentle handling that older pets often need. I still make time for long walks and hikes with her, along with plenty of cuddles on the sofa. I've pet and house sat in both Norway and the UK, and cat sat regularly through my work, so I'm used to settling quickly into different homes and routines. Whether your pet needs medication given properly, an eye kept on a health condition, mobility support, or just a calm and familiar face while you're away, I will treat them exactly like my own. I have a car, so I'm happy to travel to you. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! I work night shifts on a rotating schedule, which means I get several consecutive days off at a time. When I'm off, your pet gets my full attention, with no other job or commitments competing for my time. I'm available all day, every day during those periods, so there's plenty of flexibility for walks, visits, feeding, medication, or just company, whatever your pet needs. Because of my schedule, it's worth reaching out with your dates in advance so we can plan around my rotation, but once I'm booked in, you can expect consistency and full attention for the whole time I'm looking after your pet. While I'm unable to host animals at my current residence, I'm available for dog walking, playtime in parks, or coming to your home to care for your pet. I will follow all your animals routine and care that they are used to. I know it can be stressful for an animal to have a stranger in their home, so I therefore fully believe following routines and your normal day is essential for good care. As a qualified RVN, I'm trained in CPR, emergency procedures, and animal behaviour, so your pet will be in safe, experienced hands.

About: Ive got a secure garden with grass. I love walking as a hobby so happy to walk anywhere. Currently own a dog Stanley who loves to mix with other dogs. Work from home so able to look after dogs within work time aswell. Happy to walk during lunch hour or before/after work. Secure garden and dogs okay to roam round house like my puppy Stanley does. I have a fenced medium size garden with grass and my dining room is my dogs play room! Stanley super friendly and would love to play! He can also be put in different room if your dog needs some independence down time.

About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was a child. I have had a Cane Corso and a French Bulldog. I am extremely responsible and treat all dogs I sit as my own. In the past year I took full time care of a French bulldog whilst his owner was at work. This included looking after him 7am - 5pm involving everything from feeding, walkies, playtime to bathing, brushing and sleepovers. My schedule is flexible as I work from home most of the week. I can also sit during the weekends, overnight or do stays when you go on a holiday. I always ensure maximum safety for my dogs. Depending on their personality, I remove objects they might chew / eat. I have them on the lead unless it is safe for them to be off and you give me prior permission. I ensure they have access to water at all times. I do not leave them alone at any time to ensure they are safe and are well taken care of.

About: Vast amount of experience with a variety of breeds and temperaments. After growing up around rescue dogs and working dogs my partner and I have a genuine love and acceptance of all breeds. Previously owned and trained various breeds from Staffys and spaniels to smaller breeds such as Lhasa Apso's and Bichon Frise's. Offering dog walking services, overnight stays and day care. We have a fully enclosed garden and a rural house with acres of land surrounding us. Dogs can have full run of the house whilst in our care along with a cupboard full of treats! We have a very flexible schedule due to our full time jobs being work from home role and we do not work weekends. Dogs in our care have free run of a fully enclosed garden and our home. All breeds of every shape, size and age are welcome. We ensure all dogs get 2 walks per day minimum unless they require less/more which can be requested prior to staying :) Dogs will get plenty of attention and have lots of space to run around as we have q large enclosed garden that backs onto miles of fields! We have numerous returning customers and dogs of all different breeds, sizes and ages. So we understand that all dogs have different needs to cater for Please ensure your dog is well house trained! Please note there is a £125 fee for any dogs who poo or excessively urinate, I expect some dogs to have a few accidents marking scent where other dogs have been in the house, but I've had a few incidents now where dogs do not appear well house trained at all or have come to me with illness and ruined the carpets. This fee is because I have a child in the home so need to professionally steam the carpets when poo gets in the fibres. I work from home so I'm around most of the time. I go into the office for 4 hours on a Thursday but usually take the dogs with me, and they may be alone for up to an hour whilst I take my son to a football class or playgroup I have a fully fenced garden and live in the countryside with beautiful walks for the dogs and they are walked atleast twice a day

About: I’m Sue I retired in March 2018 I was a Police Chief Inspector in Leeds England. A very challenging job I policed for 30 years and I loved it. I have now decided to combine my love of animals especially dogs with both having the chance to travel and see new places and look after dogs locally. My policing career made me very resourceful! I learnt to come with a solution not a problem!! I have lots of experience with animals having had a black Labrador for nearly 15 years and horses when I was younger. I’ve been travelling alone since 8th Aug 2018 and so far completed a house sit for 6 weeks in Cambodia on a remote desert island this finished on the 22nd Sept. I looked after 2 large kelpies who were great and I was looking after an Eco Resort so I’m used to remote living, solar power, filtered rain water and even compost toilets I did miss home comforts at times. Your apartment looks amazing and that view is fantastic. I then did a house sit in Phuket 13th to 21st Oct and took my life in my own hands driving over there!!! followed by one in Bangkok where I fell in love with Tasi a lovely Staffy/Labrador cross. I returned from a 7 week housesit in Brisbane mid January. From my story you can see I think I can honestly describe myself as independent and resourceful and I like a good laugh too usually at myself!!!
