About: Ash and I are experienced dog sitters who absolutely adore looking after all kinds of dogs and learning about their unique personalities. We have both grown up around dogs, and since moving in together 5 years ago, have looked after dogs of various breeds and sizes in our bungalow together. We have been trusted and relied upon to provide day care for dogs, taking them out on long or short walks, depending on what the dog needs, and having dogs stay over for a couple of weeks at a time while their owners have been on holiday. We make sure to share regular updates of what their pooch has been up to, and videos of them making themselves at home and having fun out on their walks! If a dog has a particular schedule, we stick to this as we understand this is very important. We have our own private garden with fencing around, to ensure the dogs safety, and are a short distance away from some gorgeous walks to keep the dogs entertained. We love taking dogs out for the day to the beach, or to a large open space where they can burn off some energy and have fun, before coming home for lots of snuggles and fussing. We have looked after dogs from separate homes at the same time before, and they have boarded with us too. We have had may dogs board with us over the last year especially and have gained lots of experience from having many different breeds of dog stay with us. Ash currently works Monday to Friday 8:30am til 5pm in Malton. I work Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm in schools in York. For this reason, half terms and school holidays would be the only time I would be around during the week to ensure that no pet was left alone for too long a time. The service I work for is an all year round service, so I may still be working in the holidays, however this is from home so I will be around. Otherwise we are often around on weekends and would mark ourselves down as unavailable if we have plans. We would also be available on evenings after work to walk your pet, if we had sufficient notice of when this would be needed. We live in a semi-detached bungalow and have a fenced private garden which ensures all pets safety, and allows them regular access outside. We have had many pets stay inside our home, whether they sleep in a crate or not. We would ask to have any information for a pet’s veterinary service when you leave them with us in case of emergencies. We thankfully have never had to use any veterinary details before but this would just be for emergencies.

About: Hi, I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and I’ve come back from university for a long holiday break and would love to welcome your dog into my family’s home to stay. I’m also available for dog walking and day care. We can offer a fenced and safe garden, comfortable sofa and plenty of time for cuddles, company, walks and playtime to all the dogs that stay with us. Our home is very dog friendly and full of treats and toys. We live local to the river and multiple green spaces for a variety of walks. Our family dog, Willow, is 5 years old, she’s an independent miniature poodle. I am happy to arrange a meet and greet before any booking if you would like to see how your dog gets on. I can also easily accommodate separate walks for your dog if you prefer. I want to make your pet feel like this is their home from home so if they have any special requests to make them feel comfortable then please feel free to ask 😁 I’m back from university so I’m available most days, including weekends. I will also be taking care of my own dog when my parents are at work, so I have plenty of time to spend with your dog. I can easily accommodate a dog crate, if your dog is happiest sleeping there. I have a medium-sized fenced garden and live close to Bootham park and the river for nice walks. Your dog is welcome on the sofa and my priority is making them welcome and comfortable.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and caring for them has always come naturally to me. For the past decade, I’ve owned and cared for more specialized pets like ferrets, which has given me a deep understanding of patience, attentiveness, and individualized care. I especially love dogs and have experience training puppies as well as caring for senior dogs who need a little extra gentleness and support. From high-energy youngsters to calm, elderly companions, I’m comfortable adapting to each dog’s unique personality and needs. No dog feels unfamiliar to me, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I'm available most (if not all) days of the week currently and have plenty of time in my day to care for your loving pet. I'll care for your pet in your own home to your standards and instructions including play, treats, and meals. I can also care for them in my home, but have only a limited terraced garden space for them to play outside (my home is big for roaming, for more indoor inclined dogs).

About: Hi, thanks for stopping by ♡ I was lucky enough to have a GSD for 15 years and I now have a resident 18 month old nutter GSD. I honestly can’t imagine life without furry cuddles, wagging tails and throwing balls. Luna is friendly and loves to play with her furry friends. She is sweet natured and loves her teddies and cuddles. She has lots of friends but is reactive on walks, especially to dogs running up to her so I always have chicken or cheese in my pocket. I am lucky enough to be a 5 minute walk to beautiful countryside and a river, which provides some fantastic routes for four legged friends. Luna is in the river daily she loves the water. I treat all of our furry visitors as if they were my own. I provide a home from home so that you can be reassured your dog is being well cared for and they can relax and enjoy their stay. I work shifts so understand that life isn’t 9-5, on my days off when marked as available I can be fully flexible to your dogs needs, whether that is a short stroll or a much longer walk to burn of that bound up energy. I can cater to all schedules for walking and feeding and am happy to board pets in my home. I can stay in your home if this suits your pets needs better but I would need to bring Luna with me. I have an enclosed garden which we spend a fair bit of time in as Luna loves being outside. If you have any particular routines or rules you would like us to follow, then these will be respected. I am a shift worker and self employed so my days off are days off and I am home all day to look after your furry friend. I am fully DBS checked, i have great walks around me and a medium sized garden which is fenced. I am happy to take my guideance from what you and your furry friend need.

About: I have had pets since I was 10 years old. I have had cats, dogs and kittens and also rabbits. I have experience looking after people’s kittens/cats/senior cats and also puppies/adult dogs and senior dogs. I have medication administration experience as our old senior cat had medical conditions which required medication. I love looking after furbabies to ensure their individual needs are being met taking into consideration their different personalities. I currently work a 9-5 job Monday to Friday but I am free evenings and over the weekend. Over the weekend I am more flexible to look after pets in my own home, take them for walks and do drop in sessions. I can also offer dog walking/ drop in sessions in the evening after work hours. I have a fenced backyard for your furbaby and I am a 5 minute walk away from a field. I am available to meet up prior to a sit/walk or drop in so I am able to meet you and your furbaby so you can assess who is going to look after your family member.

About: I have worked with dogs all my life from training,walking and looking after them,I have grown up with working cockers as my family were gamekeepers I currently have a cocker puppy my self and training it. Currently looking for a job as I have just finished my second year at Arkham Bryan college doing agriculture so willing to do any day of the week and anytimes between 7am - 5pm just can’t do weekends at the moment. I have 6 family dogs at home cockers,border terrier and a sausage dog I am currently walking 4 dogs 3x a week for a family friend and have been doing for the past 3 years I treat every dog like it’s my own

About: I grew up on a farm and have lots of experience looking after all animals. I grew up with golden retrievers, labs, spaniels, huskys and looked after multiple other breeds. I am a PE teacher who has time off during the holidays and loves spending it with animals and the outdoors. I am a teacher so I have a large amount of free time in the holidays that I love spending outdoors. I also have weekends free where I can spend boarding for dogs. I have a fully enclosed garden and a perfect amount of space for more than one or two dogs if necessary. I have a car if needed to be collected.

About: I have always loved dogs, but have never been allowed a dog personally as my parents don't like them, so now I have my own home, I thought it is the perfect time to offer my services to help others out. I have walked and looked after a dog on a sunday morning before, living in a gorgeous little village with parks and woodland walks is perfect. I have had other pets in the past and I absolutely love animals! My boyfriend has 2 dogs who I love to look after when I go to his. About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was a child. I have had a Cane Corso and a French Bulldog. I am extremely responsible and treat all dogs I sit as my own. In the past year I took full time care of a French bulldog whilst his owner was at work. This included looking after him 7am - 5pm involving everything from feeding, walkies, playtime to bathing, brushing and sleepovers. My schedule is flexible as I work from home most of the week. I can also sit during the weekends, overnight or do stays when you go on a holiday. I always ensure maximum safety for my dogs. Depending on their personality, I remove objects they might chew / eat. I have them on the lead unless it is safe for them to be off and you give me prior permission. I ensure they have access to water at all times. I do not leave them alone at any time to ensure they are safe and are well taken care of.
