About: I have had dogs all my life and currently living without one I'd love to be able to spend some more time looking after other dogs. Soon to be retired I would love to spend time looking after dogs and do what I enjoy. With less structure in my life now I can be quite flexible in my services I have a fenced off secure garden with plenty of grass to play. I am a trustworthy person who will care for dogs like they are my own

“I’m so pleased with the care Jiaqi gave Cody during his stay. I had to make a last-minute booking as we were travelling to Scotland to collect and bring some things back to York, and Jiaqi was kind enough to accept the booking at short notice. She kept me updated throughout Cody’s stay with lovely photos and videos, which was really reassuring and made me feel that he was happy and well looked after. When we were on our way to pick Cody up, our van suddenly broke down on the A64, not far from Jiaqi’s house. It was a very stressful situation, but Jiaqi was incredibly patient and understanding while we dealt with the breakdown and the unexpected delay. Cody clearly had a lovely time and was very well cared for. I really appreciated Jiaqi’s kindness, patience and communication, and I would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter.”

Bare in mind I didn’t want too leave her but Eva kept reassuring me that she’s okay and she brought her a new collar as the one she had broken and she brought her some treats and taken her on loads of walks and playing with her favourite toys and then her a wash too and lots of cuddle I’ll be hundred percent booking her in with Eva again she was so understanding kind and caring I will deffo recommend her to anyone as my dog has anxiety and separation anxiety and she made our baby girl settled thanks EVA xxx”

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by all kinds of animals, from cats and dogs to chickens, horses, and even a rescue fawn! Animals have always been a big part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. Over the past few years, I’ve had the opportunity to travel the world, including spending time in New Zealand where I was fortunate enough to house-sit and care for some wonderful dogs. I’ve also built up experience through TrustedHousesitters, looking after pets in their own homes and making sure they feel safe, happy and well cared for while their owners are away. Now that I’m back in the UK and settled in York, I’d love to continue doing what I enjoy and help care for your pets. While I’m not currently able to have a dog of my own, this gives me the perfect opportunity to enjoy plenty of walks, playtime and cuddles with yours! I’ll always treat your pets as if they were my own, taking the time to understand their individual personalities, routines and needs. Whether your dog loves long walks and adventures, a good game of fetch, or simply curling up on the sofa for some company, I’m here to make sure they feel happy, comfortable and loved while you’re away. I know how important it is to leave your pet in someone you can trust, and I’ll do everything I can to give you peace of mind while they’re in my care. I’m primarily available for house-sitting and dog walks at weekends, as I work full-time during the week. Depending on the location, I may also be able to offer midday dog walks during the week, so please feel free to get in touch and I can see what might work. I’d also be happy to consider boarding, although as I live in a flat, this would depend on the size, temperament and individual needs of your pet. I’m always happy to have a chat beforehand to make sure I can provide a comfortable and suitable environment for them. I live in a flat in the city centre, and although I don’t have a garden, I’m a very outdoorsy person and love getting out for walks. I’m often down by the river exploring the local area, usually with a coffee stop at one of the many lovely cafés along the way — so there’s no shortage of opportunities for walks and adventures! When house-sitting, I’m very happy to follow your usual routines and instructions closely. I know every pet is different, so I’ll take the time to understand their individual needs and make sure they feel comfortable, happy and well cared for while you’re away.

Very knowledgeable and clearly dog lovers, we had a good chat beforehand as I was a first-time user of Rover and had questions. About: I have been pet- sitting, house-sitting, and watching animals of all kinds since i was in middle school. I've made my own small business and had jobs taking care of animals and homes around my neighborhood pretty much all throughout my life and it is definitely one of my favorite ways to make money because it comes very naturally for me. I am a very neat and orderly person, so I always make sure to treat other people's things as if it were my own. I'm also happy to commute anywhere including parks, the vet, or anywhere else necessary for your pets and I am very flexible with my time at home on the weekends. I will make sure your home and pets are treated with love and care! I just finished up my Masters Dissertation and basically have an open availability to care for your pets whether it’s walking, playing, feeding, or just cuddling together I’m happy to do it all! Like I mentioned before, I'm a very neat and orderly person and feel obligated to treat people's things/ pets with the same care I would give to my own. I also am very organized so if I'm given clear instructions then anything you need to have taken care of will be a breeze!
