“Amy was fantastic with Nigel! She was so attentive to him, kept us informed with pictures and videos throughout his stay, gave him some lovely treats. Nigel came home such a happy dog!!! She really does put such effort in caring for dogs and Nigel cannot wait for his next stay. Thank you so much for putting our mind at ease with your excellent care :)”

I am well organised and carying person, very reliable.I have a cat that is 10 years old however I have been taking care of pets nearly all my life as I grew up on a farm in Poland. Since I remember dogs and cats were my best friends and I know how to take care of puppies and senior pets. Now we have 3 more cats and dog in Poland, that are very special to me and any time I am there I look after them. I also work from home 2 days per week what helps me to be more organised with planning the vistis and be more available. I am a single without kids so I have plenty of time at weekends or after work. I also working 2 days from home whats will help me to organise a time for pet sitting. I live in block of flat so pets wont go outside on their own, I will use lead when I need it or keep extra care.

“Emily and her family were incredible. They stepped in at the last minute to look after our 4‑year‑old Golden Retriever, and I’m genuinely grateful they did. From the moment he arrived, he was welcomed into their home and treated with such warmth and care. He was walked every day, and I received regular updates and photos — from happy garden lounging to cheerful walks and sweet moments with her son. It was obvious he felt completely relaxed and safe with them. He came home content, well looked after, and full of confidence. Knowing he was in such a loving family environment made the whole experience stress‑free for us. I would wholeheartedly recommend Emily and her family to anyone looking for reliable, kind, and genuinely caring dog sitters.”

About: I have been rescuing and caring for dogs since I was a young child, so animal care is second nature to me. Currently, our home is shared with our well-trained dog, Bonnie, and our sweet cat, Luna. Because I’ve raised my children to respect and properly care for animals from an early age, our entire household is calm, attentive, and welcoming. We keep an active schedule with 2 to 3 walks a day for Bonnie, ensuring any guest dog gets plenty of exercise, structure, and love. Whether your pet needs high energy outdoor time or gentle daily care, they’ll be treated like part of our family. As a school teacher currently on school holidays, my schedule is completely open and dedicated full time to pet care! I am at home all day, which allows me to offer round the clock supervision, flexible walk times, and constant companionship. During term time, I am available outside school hours and on weekends for walks, drop ins, and boarding. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. My home features a secure garden, and I share it with my well trained, friendly dog, Bonnie, and our cat, Luna. Having raised my children to be respectful and gentle with animals, our home provides a calm, safe environment for guest pets. We stick closely to your pet's routine, ensure secure leash walks, and can easily accommodate crating or specific care needs.

About: I have grown up with working spaniels and labradors on a farm, as well as having these dogs as working they have been loved pets. They are walked 2/3 times a day which is either at the beach in Saltburn or in the woodlands. I live in Scissett at the moment and the countryside/woodland is just perfect to have a furry companion by my side to enjoy it with. I'm the kind of person who will cross the road purposely to pet a dog! I work full time, but I work from home 2/3 days a week. I'm always available to put in leave also if this makes sitting easier, or if you are happy with the dog to come into my office with me then you can sure expect them to be coming for coffee breaks and treats with me. Pets really are part of the family so they will be treated as so in my home, whether they would want to sleep on my bed, on their bed, or anywhere else that's fine with me. They would be given endless cuddles and love while being with me.

“Mel was amazing! We had a sitter (via Rover) who let us down fairly last minute and Mel was happy to be able to help us out. When we met her we knew that Maya was going to be well looked after and that she was going to safe in a loving environment. We had updates & I'm fairly certain that Maya didn't want to come home after being BFs with Mel's daughter. We're so grateful and would use Mel again in a heartbeat”

“Well what can I say. Alanna is amazing. Winnie my gorgeous girl 🐶 can be very anxious about new people but she just took to Alanna from the off. I felt reassured right from the beginning that Winnie would be happy with her and she was. She normally doesn’t eat when we go away even staying with family but she settled straight away. I Can highly recommend Alanna.”

“Sally Morton was an absolutely fantastic dog sitter. She looked after my dog Bear and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Sally was caring, reliable, and clearly loves dogs. The whole experience was completely stress-free, and I felt confident knowing Bear was in such good hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive sitter.”

Pet owners share their Rover experiences - Skelmanthorpe
Sally got excited as soon as she realised we were parked outside Ben's, to drop her off. It says it all when your dog runs into a house, rolls around the rug and bounces all over her keeper for the week. She didn't even turn to see us go. A week later we picked up a very happy, well cared for pooch. Thanks to Ben and his lovely family, Sally had another great holiday and we got to enjoy ours knowing she was having a great time.
