About: I have shared my life with dogs for over 30 years, and there is rarely a time when I haven't had a furry companion by my side. Because I am at home full-time, your dog will never be left alone. My days revolve around companionship and care, ensuring your pet remains on their preferred schedule for feeding, potty breaks, and playtime. We are lucky enough to live in the countryside, offering a peaceful environment. Whether your dog prefers long walks through the fields or snoozing on a rug by my side, they will find a safe, happy home here. As I am at home full-time, your dog becomes a true member of our family. They will enjoy unlimited playtime, constant snuggles, and the dedicated attention of myself and my two dog-loving children (ages 5 and 8). We are available for boarding 7 days a week, offering a lively, affectionate environment where your pet is never alone. I have a fenced garden so your dog can go in and out as they please. I don't use crates unless specifically requested. Your dog has the freedom of our home and the comfort of our sofa. We take full advantage of our rural location with multiple walks a day through quiet fields and lanes. My children are very respectful of dogs and have been raised to handle them gently.

About: I have experience caring for a wide variety of animals, with most of my hands-on work involving dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, and fish. I’ve also spent time caring for or working around animals like horses, pigs, sheep, birds (including chickens, quail, ducks, geese, budgies, parrots, owls, and pigeons), reptiles (corn snakes and geckos), and even tarantulas. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages and needs, including those with medical or behavioural challenges, as long as I have clear guidance on their routines. My experience includes: • Administering medication to both cats and dogs, including insulin injections for diabetic dogs • Following any strict dietary and exercise routines prescribed. • Caring for a large rescue Alaskan Malamute with behavioural issues. • Bathing and grooming various dogs and cats when needed. • Knowledge and experience using positive reinforcement training principles (so can support your pet’s routine and any training goals with consistency and understanding) What sets me apart is my MSc in Animal Behaviour, which gives me a solid foundation in animal psychology, body language, and wellbeing. I’m calm, observant, and always attuned to each animal’s unique personality and comfort. I’m open to working with any species and will always be upfront about my experience. I’ll only take on a job if I’m confident I can give your pet the highest standard of care. I also have some photography and videography experience through working as a content creator, so if you would like regular updates sent i can also include clear, cute photos and videos of your pets too if you are happy with that! I currently work part-time and mostly from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I’m happy to help with early mornings, late evenings, or anything in between. Just let me know your pet’s routine and specific needs and I’ll always do my best to accommodate. I prioritise each pet’s comfort and care over taking on too many jobs. If I’ve committed to being available at a certain time for your pet, you can trust that I’ll remain available and focused during that time. I’m happy to care for pets either in your home or mine, depending on what works best for your pet’s comfort and routine. I live with two other adults in a two-bedroom house with a private, fenced garden. The fencing is currently 4ft high, so garden access will be carefully managed based on your pet’s size, behaviour, and needs. Pets in my care will always be supervised when in the garden, and I’m happy to follow your preferences for on or off lead time. Indoors, pets can enjoy a calm, cosy environment with access to the house depending on their needs and personality. I also live near lovely walking routes for regular outdoor enrichment. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing are my top priority, and I’ll always do my best to match their usual routines and provide a safe, nurturing environment.

About: I've spent over a decade caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments — not just as a sitter, but as a true companion. From high-energy puppies to senior dogs with special needs, I understand their unique care requirements. You'll never wonder how your dog is doing. I provide regular photo updates, check-ins, and stay in close touch so you're always in the loop. Pet care is a meaningful and regular part of my weekly routine. I dedicate time each day for walks, feedings, litter box cleaning, and quality time with the animals I care for. I carefully plan my schedule to ensure I’m fully available for each pet — whether for daily check-ins, overnight stays, or weekend visits. Even with other responsibilities, pet care remains a top priority. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on maintaining their routine as closely as possible to minimize stress. I follow detailed instructions regarding feeding, medications, walk schedules, and any special quirks or preferences. I respect the pet owner’s home, clean up after the pet (litter box, food area, accidents if any), and provide updates with photos or videos. My goal is for the pet to feel safe and relaxed in their own familiar space — and for you to feel confident while you're away.

I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, walks, playtime and cuddles, while sticking to their usual routine as closely as possible. I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your pet, so I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages throughout their stay. Whether your dog is energetic and loves adventures or prefers a quiet day relaxing, I’ll make sure they feel happy, comfortable and well cared for until they’re back home with you. I have a flexible schedule and WFH during the week and off work on weekends so your dog will receive plenty of attention throughout the day. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding or just relaxing together, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I have a secure, fully fenced garden where they can safely enjoy time outside, along with a clean, calm home. As I don’t have any pets of my own, your dog will have my full attention during their stay. I’ll follow their usual routine for feeding, walks and any medication if needed, and I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind.

About: Always been around pets, especially dogs, since childhood. Absolutely love animals, and so does the wife. Both now semi-retired so we are looking to fill our time by doing something we love. Looked after friends and family pets previously… the longest stint being a Victorian Bulldog that we looked after for 7 months! The wife and I are semi-retired. I’m 46 years old and she’s slightly older. Both fit and healthy and love animals and being outdoor and active. Fenced off back garden. Live in a fantastic rural area with plenty of countryside to explore. I’ve been walking 10 miles a day for 27 years as a postman, all weather, so your dog will be in for a treat.

About: I have always taken charge since I was a kid, I always wanted to be involved taking care of my dogs and cat. This makes me feel very comfortable around dogs and allows me to thrive in there company, wether thats on the sofa or on a long walk. I am flexible on how to fit your pet into my schedule, as i have just finished full time education but currently have a part time job, the hours when i am free can vary from week to week. I offer cuddles, lots of yummy treats and a calm environment for your pets to be in, my no.1 priority is their happiness and enrichment. I am able to adapt walks to a steady pace or keep up with a high energy pet.

About: We have both grown up having our own pets, having a variety of different animals, including multiple dogs and cats that we have fed, walked, bathed etc. We have looked after other peoples dogs, cats and other animals previously as well. This has given us lots of experience: we have looked after puppies, seniors, animals that have needed medication or other special treatments. We both have part-time work however with enough notice we can choose our hours to schedule around yours. We have different schedules so one of us is usually free if not both of us. If you do have a preference of which one of us visits your pet that’s fine as well just let us know, as we understand some animals have a preferred gender. We live in an apartment building but it there still has enough room for a small-medium sized dog if they can be quiet or any sized cat. The apartments are gated off with a little garden area on the property. And they is a big park next to my building for walks as well. We don’t mind looking after your pet at your own home to allow them to feel more comfortable in their environment as well. We will try cater to your dogs or cats needs as much as possible if you have any specific requests.

About: I have grown up with working spaniels and labradors on a farm, as well as having these dogs as working they have been loved pets. They are walked 2/3 times a day which is either at the beach in Saltburn or in the woodlands. I live in Scissett at the moment and the countryside/woodland is just perfect to have a furry companion by my side to enjoy it with. I'm the kind of person who will cross the road purposely to pet a dog! I work full time, but I work from home 2/3 days a week. I'm always available to put in leave also if this makes sitting easier, or if you are happy with the dog to come into my office with me then you can sure expect them to be coming for coffee breaks and treats with me. Pets really are part of the family so they will be treated as so in my home, whether they would want to sleep on my bed, on their bed, or anywhere else that's fine with me. They would be given endless cuddles and love while being with me.

About: I have experience in caring for dogs and cats through my family & friends. I haven’t had my own pet due to previous work commitments. I currently work part time and my son is home during the hours I work so your pet would always have someone responsible with them. I have a secure garden space and access to lots of lovely walks in my area. Your pet will have access to the downstairs areas of my home and both myself and my son to play and care for them.

About: The best thing about this job second to seeing your pets happy and in their natural behaviours, is receiving the amazing feedback from all the parents & carers of the pets I have the opportunity to meet and care for - it’s truly rewarding! The older cats & dogs which have an extra spring in their step, the dogs who eat when you find a way which works for them because you’ve realised their needs and made them comfortable, the pets who play & express themselves because they know you’re there for them 1 to 1. Cats, dogs, birds - and all animals to be honest - make me genuinely happy and present in the moment. I’ve loved animals and wildlife since forever. Volunteering in a pet shop at 10 years old, I cleaned the rabbit and hamster enclosures and fed the small animals. Since 17 I have taken care of my own 11 cats of all ages in several homes in the UK and China (including a 1-week old kitten who I had to bottle feed blind) and have completed multiple dog sits and walks. I now currently reside with my two boys, Tyson & Rossi, and since Halloween a lady cat who was hanging around the garden now named Lucky. Lucky was wandering for 12 weeks after her owner passed on and now she is part of our family. We have also been fostering a British long haired cat named Professor Pawsley for a month since a friend and previous client in New Mill passed away. Sadly three of the kitties from over the years have passed on; the others are with family and friends and I receive regular updates). The 1-week old when living in China for 3 years was just days old, his name is Ginge and he now lives happily with his three sibling kitties taken care of in Shenzhen by a good friend. I took care of him as a kitten, feeding him bottled formula, keeping him warm and training him to use a litter tray. I took in two 6 month old cats just before that and worked two jobs while looking after the three of them, with the help of my good friend Echo. Rossi who is now 1 year old, came to us last year in our Stockport home as an 8-week old kitten from a rescue centre and we already had Tyson at the time who was 2, we took him in from a friend’s friend who decided to go traveling. Introducing the boys I used scenting and separation to allow for less anxiety, before they finally met and now they love each other despite sometimes boisterously play fighting! Some of my experiences with pet sitting: I took care of two Jack Russell’s in 2015 for two weeks, walking them, feeding them and playing with them. The pups made house sitting much more fun and walking them at the reservoir daily was good exercise. About 8 months later I looked after my friends two cats for a week and a half while they were away. The year after I was baby sitting and dog sitting two dogs for a friends’ parent, just for one night but that was also a very smooth experience. Looking after my friends British Shorthair for a week in south of China (2018) was enjoyable, as I was living in a studio at the time on my own so I truly enjoyed the company. In 2020 post-pandemic I took care of my brother and his partners’ Yorkshire Terrier for three months while they were working long hours, walking him twice a day, playing with him and spending time bonding. It was in 2023 when I took care of my partners’ boss’ family German Shepherd and two domestic short-haired cats. Administering daily medication as the German shepherd was older, feeding, walking with careful consideration and playing were the tasks involved and they even slept with us while we stayed there for 10 days. I even spent some time with the sheep at the back of the garden! What was truly special was how Marcus explained his German shepherd was in such a good way when he got home he was so pleased to see him with good energy and ready for his morning walks. Every single morning, my first move is to feed the boys and girls and provide fresh drinking water at their four stations. This is always after greeting them of course! Sometimes I wake up to Rossi on my chest or next to my legs as he sleeps on the bed to my happiness. Tyson has softened as he never used to, but now also sometimes sleeps on the bed with us. After greeting, stroking and kisses, food and water is given. My partner and I then clean out the litter trays - five litter trays at the moment! Luckily we have three floors over a town-house so there’s enough space between. Almost daily I check the rechargeable batteries for the bunch of toys they have - we rotate to try and keep them engaged. I also play with teasers and bits of string and of course they love boxes. I talk to the babies as I feel this is important and comforting for our animals, we all need communication. Every few days or so I groom them with a brush and they enjoy treats such as Dreamies scattered on a play board and tuna in spring water every Friday and Saturday. For cats staying in our home, the house is already extremely safe & secure as we check this meticulously already for our own kitties. Everything is maintained to make sure the cats are safe inside the house, the catio is optional as it just fits right outside the front door without any gaps to get outside - but to a new cat we would probably leave the catio and keep them inside the house as there are plenty of rooms. If there were any issues we have a town-house style so three levels and rooms with secure doors so for example my partner could be with our boys in our bedroom and I could be with your kitty/kitties in the living room. We are very conscientious of food and cleaning up after cooking (onions, chocolate etc), cleaning products are in cupboards and we don’t buy flowers which are toxic we are very aware of these potential hazards. As for puppies in our home, the same as above. Preferably, for puppies and dogs, I would like to board/dog or dog (and cats if both) sit at your home - this would also allow your pets to be in their familiar environment.

About: I’m the girl that waves to dogs I pass in the street, I’m dog mad. I’ve recently returned to the area after living abroad for 6+ years. Personal circumstances mean that I’m not able to have a dog of my own right now, but in the meantime I have so much love to give! I’ve been working part time as a dog-walker and dog-sitter for the past three years on and off and I absolutely love it. I’ll strive to make your dog feel safe, happy and adored. Mark Twain once said “The more I learn about people, the more I love my dog” — let me love your dog!! I currently work from home but I have a very flexible routine. I’m available most days, I just ask that you give me a few days notice if you need my help over the weekends or holidays! I will gladly make house calls. I have clients who trust me with regular access and keys to their properties and I will respect your privacy in your home. I also have the possibility to look after your pet here in my own home. I live with my dad at the moment in a terraced house in Clifton. We don’t have much of a garden but there are plenty of good walks to be had!

About: I have volunteered as a dog walker for dog rescues before starting to provide pet services and volunteered with the RSPCA for over 2 years. I am compassionate, patient and willing to go the extra mile (or several if we’re walking). I have my own lovely little rescue dog called Majky who has special care needs and just turned 11. I have experience with senior dogs and am happy to provide medication or special care during drop in visits. I am also fully insured for pet care and DBS checked. I offer drop-ins or dog walking 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday. 10am to 7pm Saturday and 10am to 6pm Sunday. Drop-ins are 30 mins by default but 1 hour is available on request for an additional fee. If you want drop in care I am able to do up to 3 drop ins per day - this is for both dogs and cats, pricing is per drop-in. I prefer to walk your dog or dogs alone so i can give them my undivided attention, i do not offer group walks (more than 2 dogs at once). Although I have my own much loved fluffball he will not be joining me for walks with your dog. I am happy to accommodate any special requests and recommendations for places to walk nearby your home. Or if your dog likes to play fetch instead I’m happy to do that too. I want to get to know your pup so i can do my best to make their day a little brighter.

About: I have owned dogs since they were born so have vast experience. I have looked after them from puppies until end of life. I much prefer animals to humans. I am DBS checked so you know your animals are in safe hands I am fully flexible with care! I’m self employed in my day job so am able to work around you! I can fit in walks or sits which work round you! I have a fenced front and back yard. I have children who know how to behave around dogs. I will treat your dog as I do my own (spoilt)

About: I had a miniature poodle named Jack Sparrow who very sadly passed away earlier this year from old age. He was 16. I have also taken care of friends dogs in my home whilst they have been away. Regular walks are guaranteed. Your dogs will be loved and well looked after whilst in my care. My cat can easily be taken to my parents house while I am caring for your dog x I work from home so would be able to be with your dogs continuously. If I am caring for your dog, they would be my sole focus while they were with me so I could follow their usual routines. I have an enclosed fenced garden with grass, decking and stone. Dogs would be kept downstairs unless fully house trained in which case would have free rein.

About: From a family of dog lovers - I am the designated dog sitter! From small to large breeds, I have experience and am very comfortable in caring for all. I currently work flexibly so can be available to care for your loved ones at home whilst I’m working at home - or on weekends for complete devotion!
