About: I graduated at Askham Bryan College in York in 2024 with a BSc Degree in Canine and Feline Behaviour and Welfare. I have experience in training a variety of dog breeds. I have taught puppy classes, and basic training for all ages, and have successfully trained multiple dogs in assistance work. I have gained knowledge and experience through looking after my previous employer's three dogs for lengths of time, providing all of the different care needs for each dog such as administering medication for the eldest dog with arthritis, specific and extra grooming needs for a show dog, and keeping the smaller dog separated from the others as requested when letting her out to the garden and when feeding. I am currently available for cat and dog sitting appointment and bookings, I specialise in training and welfare, and for the needs of cats and dogs requiring medication, such as insulin injections and/or tablets to be administered. I can work to any requirements provided by the owner. I can follow the usual routine for the cats if requested, or if the owner would feel better with keeping the cats indoors, or want them back in the house at specific times, I can keep the cats sufficiently occupied and exercised. I can walk the dogs as requested and within the enclosed space of their homes when out in the garden.

About: **DBS CHECKED** Hello! I’m Alex and I have cared for many breeds of dogs in the past, as well as my own cat Ivy for the past 3+ years and my 2 Guinea pigs, Churro and Viktor. I have owned many dogs previously, including Greyhounds, Staffies and even Cane Corsos. Additionally, I have also owned budgies, tropical fish and a tortoise. I always prioritise enrichment, exercise, affection and mental stimulation. The standard in which I care for my animals is very high and I believe it should be the same for all. I am currently working a part time job at an equine yard, but only work around 1-2 shifts a week. Now, as I recently graduated from college, I have a lot more free time and flexibility in my life and would love to fill this space with caring for dearly loved pets. A role of this nature is something I’ve been eager to do for a long time, as I love meeting unique furry personalities. Meeting animals with different traits and characteristics is always fun and interesting for me- and providing a great level of care for owners pets is something I love and enjoy greatly. I am happy to walk dogs for up to three times a day and would be willing to go on longer ones if this is requested and/or needed for the dog. I would prefer to care for animals at the owners location, due to my house being rather small and more of a cat-orientated household. However, I am happy to do daycare and may consider overnight care at my own home if I am comfortable with the situation and if I’m informed of important details e.g. temperament, size, bad behaviours. I am happy to do weekdays, holidays (summer, school, bank) and weekends if I am free and/or given enough time in advance. I have a fenced front and back garden and access to many suitable dog walking areas. Whether it’s a 15 minute stroll around the block, or a longer walk across the moors, I am more than up for it! A play and social session down at the local park is always a blast too. I am very fortunate to live in a great area for dog walking and adventures. I do own a cat and two Guinea pigs, but they are kept in a separate room (the cat goes outside but keeps to herself). My home has a high level of security, including CCTV cameras and multiple ring cameras too. I also have a wet room style bathroom so bathing medium sized dogs and under would be possible. I have a decently sized grass back garden and a small wood chip front garden. I also have an old dog kennel which is being used for storage, but if necessary, can be cleaned out for use. In terms of caring for a pet at the owners home, I have my own form of transport so commuting to the location wouldn’t be an issue (if it’s no more than around 20 miles from my location). I am perfectly comfortable staying over night and will happily adhere to any special arrangements and requests, such as number of walks per day, giving medications and specialist requirements. I am unable to walk large dogs if they are very reactive and strong pullers, otherwise I am totally happy. I do ask that I am informed of any personality traits or issues I need to be aware of e.g. is not friendly with other dogs, reactive to cats, must wear an muzzle etc. I have no personal preferences or limits when caring for cats, as I have lots of experience and knowledge- plus they’re quite a bit easier than dogs! Again, all I ask is to be informed of any medical requirements or specialist care for your pet.

About: Hi, I'm Lauren, and caring for dogs isn't just something I do, it's something I genuinely love. I've spent years building my knowledge and experience working with dogs of all ages, breeds and personalities. I'm currently training to be qualified in animal care, welfare and behaviour, experienced with puppy training, confident handling large and energetic breeds, and I understand that every dog has their own routine, quirks and needs. I share my home with my own rescue dog, William, who has taught me more than any textbook ever could. I've always rescued dogs and have had all kinds of breeds from greyhounds and cavaliers to staffies and papillons. Through training, socialisation and everyday adventures, I've developed a calm, patient approach that helps dogs feel safe, secure and relaxed while they're in my care. I am fully insured, DBS Checked, licenced for home boarding with Bradford City Council (287196/634260) and canine first aid trained. Whether your dog needs a fun-filled walk, a cosy overnight stay, drop-in visits while you're away or simply someone who'll treat them with the same love and attention you do, you can count on me. I'll always tailor my care to your dog's individual routine, ensuring they receive plenty of exercise, enrichment, affection and, of course, belly rubs if they're accepting applications. Your dog's safety and wellbeing are my highest priorities. I'm reliable, organised and committed to keeping you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your best friend is having a wonderful time too. I know how difficult it can be to leave your dog with someone new because I'd expect exactly the same level of care for my own. That's why I treat every dog as if they were part of my family. I can't wait to meet you and your four-legged best friend! A typical day with me includes up to two enjoyable walks of up to an hour each through the beautiful woodlands and countryside right on my doorstep. Every walk is tailored to your dog's age, fitness and individual needs, allowing them to explore, sniff and enjoy the great outdoors at their own pace. If your dog isn't able to go for long walks, I'll provide plenty of alternative enrichment, gentle play and mental stimulation to keep them happy and engaged. I believe a dog's wellbeing is about much more than physical exercise. That's why I incorporate a healthy balance of walks, interactive play, enrichment activities and rest throughout the day, ensuring every dog returns home content, relaxed and fulfilled, both mentally and physically. Our living room opens directly onto a spacious, fully enclosed and secure rear garden through large patio doors, giving dogs easy access to a safe outdoor space where they can play, explore and enjoy fresh air throughout the day. Inside, dogs are free to relax and settle wherever they feel most comfortable, whether that's stretching out in the living room, curling up on a cosy bed or snoozing in their favourite spot. Every stay is tailored to your dog's individual routine, preferences and needs, ensuring they feel safe, relaxed and completely at home while in my care.

About: Hi, I'm a passionate dog lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs of different breeds, personalities, and needs. I have my own dog, Torrin, a 3-year-old German Wirehaired Pointer (GWP), who keeps me active and has given me valuable experience in training, exercise, and daily care. Over the past two years, I've also regularly looked after two dogs, Hattie and Senga, building strong relationships with both them and their owners. Through caring for multiple dogs, I've developed a good understanding of different temperaments, routines, and requirements, and I'm committed to providing a safe, reliable, and enjoyable experience for every dog in my care. Whether it's walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, I'll make sure your dog receives plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while you're away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I'll treat your dog as if they were my own. Pet care fits very easily into my routine, especially during the week as I'm currently on my university summer break and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to walks, drop-in visits, and general pet care throughout the day. During term time and outside the summer period, I'm also available on occasional weekends and will always communicate my availability clearly in advance. I always aim to follow a pet's usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. Whether caring for pets in my home or in an owner's home, I make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection, along with fresh water, meals, and any other care instructions provided by the owner. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important consistency and communication are. I have a 3-year-old German Wirehaired Pointer, Torrin, and over the past two years I have regularly cared for two other dogs, Hattie and Senga. This experience has helped me become confident in managing different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel reassured that their pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while they're away.

About: I've always been an animal lover, and I have been caring for various pets for many years! I have my own cat, Tommy, who I've had the pleasure of taking care of over the past 10 years. Looking after him has given me hands-on experience with everything from feeding and grooming to recognising changes in his behaviour or health. Over the years, i have learned how important patience and building trust is with animals. In addition to caring for my own cat, I've also helped look after a dog for around 5 years. This included regular walks, feeding and playing. I helped with basic training such as reinforcing good behaviours on walks, as well as maintaining good routine and structure with him. As he can be quite an energetic dog, this experience has given me the confidence in handling dogs with various energy levels. I have also taken care of other cats and dogs for shorter periods of time. Whether it's been a few days or a weekend, I always make sure to provide them the best level of care and attention as I would with my own cat. I always ensure that pets in my care feel safe, loved and comfortable. I pay close attention to their needs and personalities to ensure I can give the best care possible. I currently work part-time, which gives me flexibility and plenty of time to provide attentive and consistent care for pets. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I make sure I plan my schedule around the needs of the animals I’m looking after. Because I’m not working full-time hours, I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and quality time throughout the week. I’m organised and reliable, and I always ensure pets are fed on time, exercised properly, and given lots of attention and affection. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully — including feeding routines, walking schedules, medication (if required), and any specific behavioural needs. I pay close attention to pets at all times and make sure they are kept in a secure and safe environment. I’m mindful of keeping doors and gates secure, avoiding unsafe foods or objects, and ensuring pets are supervised appropriately. I can also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel reassured while you’re away.
