About: I've always been an animal lover, and I have been caring for various pets for many years! I have my own cat, Tommy, who I've had the pleasure of taking care of over the past 10 years. Looking after him has given me hands-on experience with everything from feeding and grooming to recognising changes in his behaviour or health. Over the years, i have learned how important patience and building trust is with animals. In addition to caring for my own cat, I've also helped look after a dog for around 5 years. This included regular walks, feeding and playing. I helped with basic training such as reinforcing good behaviours on walks, as well as maintaining good routine and structure with him. As he can be quite an energetic dog, this experience has given me the confidence in handling dogs with various energy levels. I have also taken care of other cats and dogs for shorter periods of time. Whether it's been a few days or a weekend, I always make sure to provide them the best level of care and attention as I would with my own cat. I always ensure that pets in my care feel safe, loved and comfortable. I pay close attention to their needs and personalities to ensure I can give the best care possible. I currently work part-time, which gives me flexibility and plenty of time to provide attentive and consistent care for pets. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I make sure I plan my schedule around the needs of the animals I’m looking after. Because I’m not working full-time hours, I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and quality time throughout the week. I’m organised and reliable, and I always ensure pets are fed on time, exercised properly, and given lots of attention and affection. About: I graduated at Askham Bryan College in York in 2024 with a BSc Degree in Canine and Feline Behaviour and Welfare. I have experience in training a variety of dog breeds. I have taught puppy classes, and basic training for all ages, and have successfully trained multiple dogs in assistance work. I have gained knowledge and experience through looking after my previous employer's three dogs for lengths of time, providing all of the different care needs for each dog such as administering medication for the eldest dog with arthritis, specific and extra grooming needs for a show dog, and keeping the smaller dog separated from the others as requested when letting her out to the garden and when feeding. I am currently available for cat and dog sitting appointment and bookings, I specialise in training and welfare, and for the needs of cats and dogs requiring medication, such as insulin injections and/or tablets to be administered. I can work to any requirements provided by the owner. I can follow the usual routine for the cats if requested, or if the owner would feel better with keeping the cats indoors, or want them back in the house at specific times, I can keep the cats sufficiently occupied and exercised. I can walk the dogs as requested and within the enclosed space of their homes when out in the garden.

About: I have taken care of my neighbours dogs in numerous occasions and have had 10 years worth of experience with 3 cats of my own. I understand how dearly pet owners love their pets; as if they were their own children (I know I do!) and therefore believe that I would be a great carer for your little ones as you enjoy your break! I am a Biomedical science University student living at home and have a lot of free time to take care of and provide attention to your pets! I am also trained in lab skills and know what behaviours in animals would be alarming. I can maintain the same or a very similar routine for your pets as the ones they follow when you are around, I am a massive animal lover and can take really good care of your fur babies

About: I’ve always loved animals especially dogs and I treat them literally like fur babies! Ever since I was a young child I’ve had dogs around me and as pets. I use to always enjoy walking the neighbours dogs too. I’ve looked after friends and family’s pets numerous of times whilst they’ve been on holiday or just at work. I have a cocker spaniel of my own so he loves tagging along for the exercise and to socialise with other dogs! I’ve also helped friends when their dogs have had a litter. I helped them with feeding, toilet training and to keep clean. I’m currently working a 0 hour contract as a part time care assistant so I can be very flexible with time spent with your fur babies In my home I have a fenced garden with a locked gate to ensure safety the same goes for the back garden. When travelling with animals I will provide crates fitted correctly and also seatbelts for dogs that are not keen on crates

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs since i was born, training them, walking them and socialising them. I have always loved being surrounded by pets and seeing their little tails wag, I recently bought myself a dachshund and have trained him well to be sociable, kind natured and well behaved and he is like my first baby Im currently out of work studying midwifery from home caring for my dog hugo and we go on 2 walks a day, often down to the canal in Shipley. I love getting out the house and offering more mental stimulation! I have a fenced garden, and one friendly dachshund to keep your fur baby company. No children/cats and safety and happiness is my priority. No escapees round here!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs most of my life for friends and family and have worked at a dog boarding kennels for 3 years working with all kinds of dog breeds and I studied dog behaviour, nutrition and management including housing and healthcare I’m currently working part time between 8-10am and 3-5pm so I’m available most days in between, if you are okay with your dog/dog’s being left for 2 hours morning and afternoon. In your home I will listen and follow all instructions to keep your pet safe and happy this will extend to outside the home on walks. Unfortunately i cannot have your pet in my home as I have a reactive dog and wouldn’t want to put another animal in danger or distress.

I would be glad to offer your pups a helping hand and support since not everyone has this opportunity. I have house-sat for friends' and families' pets, so thought it would be a great opportunity to share my love with others. Previously I've had Japanese Akita’s, Shih Tzu and Labrador’s and now my bundle of fun Cockapoo 'Doug', so have plenty of experience training and caring for high-energy larger dogs that need lots of mental stimulation and enrichment. If your pup is happier cuddling on the couch, that works perfectly for a bookworm like me. As long as you're away, your furry family member will get all the attention and belly rubs it needs. I live a short walk from Northcliff park a quiet dog park and Roberts Park so your pooch will always have a big, grassy area to play on or off-leash or we can go for nice long walks. I love exploring new areas too, so if you are located in another area I would thrive on exploring new walks with your furry friend. While you're away, your pet can enjoy a good cuddle, play session, and park walk. As much as anything, I am a patient, loving, and reliable person, who loves sharing my love of animals with others. I am a qualified midwife. So not only do I love my fur babies but I bring real babies into the world. I work shift work but only 3 days a week so have 4 days free to love your fur babies as much as I love mine! My dog has free rein of the house. He sleeps on our bed and knows no where is off limited. Any dog is welcome to sleep on our sofa aswell, I believe a pet is as much part of the family as anyone else. I have a big garden which is fully secure with 6ft walls, the garden is packed with toys (as my dog takes them out and does not bring them back)

About: I can care for puppies right through to the senior dogs. My dogs enjoy 2 good walks a day plus regular toilet breaks. We play ball games and enjoy hikes in the local woods. I am currently provide insured dog walking, day care and boarding services, 7 days a week. All enquiries welcome. A meet and greet will be arranged to ensure that you, your dog and me will all be happy before booking a service. Boarding dogs will preferably not suffer from separation anxiety, I have to be able to nip out to the shops etc. I have a good existing customer base and my customers know they can rely on me any time. Some of my guest dogs have been coming for over 10 years so my home is their second home, it is happy and peaceful, I live on my own with my 4 Cocker Spaniels, Oscar(16), William (14), Amber(10) and Polly(3). I am available 7 days a week and at short notice. I have a fenced yard and 4 Spaniels of ages 16, 14, 10 and 3 years old so I can provide care for all ages of dogs.

About: I have looked after dogs young and old since I was a kid and have 10 years of training guide dog puppies at home. I am comfortable handling big, medium and small-sized dogs and I'm good at adapting to individual dogs needs. I am a researcher who works from home so my hours are flexible (especially Mon-Fri) and I can fit in with you and your dog's schedule. About: Since being a young girl I have always had a love for pets, my first pet was my netherland dwarf rabbit called Snowy who is now 10 years old, I also kept hamsters for a few years and our family dog is a miniature poodle called Jeff who is nearly 6 years old. I often have sole responsibility for Jeff and Snowy when my parents are away or at work. I have recently house sat for 2 weeks for 2 dogs (Dachshund and a mixed breed rescue) ensuring they had their regular exercise with the daily duties of making sure they had food and fresh water and keeping those tails wagging by playing and keeping them stimulated. I have also had experience at working on a small farm with horses, dogs, cats, ducks and chickens. When the owners were away I attended two or three times a day making sure all their animal welfare was cared for. At college I studied animal management leaving in 2023, during my time at college I did a placement at Yorkshire Cat Rescue and Look North Dog Groomers. My main responsibilities at the groomers were washing, drying, brushing the dogs whilst ensuring all safety measures were met, building a bond and trust with the dogs was paramount. A bit about how we got our dog. I implemented the discussions with my family about having a dog, I had to do all the research and find a dog that would be suitable for our family home and I did that by finding our Jeff. I trained him from being a puppy, walked and cleaned up after him, played with him, he loves to play ball! I trained him to sit, high-five, paw, speak, lay down, dance and turn. He’s never quite grasped roll over though! I was a keen horse rider from the age of 7, and one of the riding schools I attended in my teens I helped disabled children ride horses. We also have a family dog food business and I help out in the factory when required, therefore, I know how important it is to keep a dogs diet healthy. Personal attributes of mine are, I am hard working, punctual, reliable, trust worthy and love animals. I hold a full clean driving licence and have use of my own car. I cannot wait to meet your pets. I am currently in hospitality at a dog friendly bar with a view to work full time with animals. I am available Thursday, Friday and Saturdays, I’m willing to reduce my working hours/ days to pursue my career working with animals. I will listen to each individual household requests and adhere to their specific instructions as every household would differ in terms of dog safety and restrictions of rooms in your home.
