“I was very nervous about leaving my dog at home for the day whilst I worked as I had never done that before. I booked Saddique to walk my dog twice throughout the day and Saddique kept me updated with photos etc and I felt so much at ease. I now feel much more comfortable leaving my dog at home whilst I work knowing Saddique is going to take good care of her. I highly recommend Saddique and I will definitely be using his services again.”

About: I graduated at Askham Bryan College in York in 2024 with a BSc Degree in Canine and Feline Behaviour and Welfare. I have experience in training a variety of dog breeds. I have taught puppy classes, and basic training for all ages, and have successfully trained multiple dogs in assistance work. I have gained knowledge and experience through looking after my previous employer's three dogs for lengths of time, providing all of the different care needs for each dog such as administering medication for the eldest dog with arthritis, specific and extra grooming needs for a show dog, and keeping the smaller dog separated from the others as requested when letting her out to the garden and when feeding. I am currently available for cat and dog sitting appointment and bookings, I specialise in training and welfare, and for the needs of cats and dogs requiring medication, such as insulin injections and/or tablets to be administered. I can work to any requirements provided by the owner. I can follow the usual routine for the cats if requested, or if the owner would feel better with keeping the cats indoors, or want them back in the house at specific times, I can keep the cats sufficiently occupied and exercised. I can walk the dogs as requested and within the enclosed space of their homes when out in the garden.

“Claire and her partner came to take Huggy on his first ever walk with a dog walker. They were great with him! So kind and caring. He's a little nervous in new situations so he was giddy when he got back inside, but I'm 100% confident asking Claire to walk him in future as he seemed settled once he got going.”

About: Hi there! I’m Barbara, and I’ve always been an animal lover, especially when it comes to dogs. Over the years, I’ve gained experience not just through helping family and friends with their dogs but also by caring for my own lovable 9-year-old American Akita. I know the joys and challenges that come with owning a dog, and I’d love to share that same care and attention with your furry friend while you’re away! My dog-sitting experience comes from a combination of looking after my own dog, my friends’ dogs, and family members’ pups. I’ve learned a lot about different dog personalities, from energetic and playful to more laid-back and relaxed. I’m comfortable handling a variety of breeds and temperaments and can offer everything from daily walks to training reinforcement. I treat every dog like they’re my own, offering plenty of love, cuddles, and attention. I know how important it is to make sure your dog feels safe and loved when you’re not around. Having my own American Akita, I’ve learned a lot about basic obedience and how to keep up with training consistency. I can help with reinforcing commands like sit, stay, or leash walking and even help with minor behavioral issues if needed. I love taking dogs out for walks, playing games, and giving them the exercise they need. Whether your dog loves to run around or just needs some quiet time, I’ll make sure they stay active and happy. I’ll send you updates and photos to keep you in the loop about how your dog is doing. You’ll never have to wonder how they’re feeling while you’re away! Why Choose Me? Experience from my own dog, a 9-year-old American Akita called Kessi, and helping family/friends with their pups. A kind, loving, and patient approach – I understand the unique needs of different dogs. Comfortable with dogs of all ages and sizes, including high-energy and more calm-tempered pups. Always available for short or long-term sitting, and I’m happy to adapt to your schedule. Clear communication – I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages to ensure peace of mind. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares about dogs and has real hands-on experience, I’d love to help take care of your dog while you’re away. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!I am fully insured. I am currently working Mon-Fri 6-2pm and I am free after 2pm and over the weekend. I will have plenty of time to play with your pet. I have a fenced garden and 2 min walk to the field where your pet can play with my lovely friendly senior American akita kessi.

About: Hello! My name is Jane and I am a dog walker and pet sitter. I have worked for the past 12 years as an animal care lecturer, as an animal management keeper, and worked in a large aquatics pet store, so I have a broad range of experience. In 2024 I decided that I wanted to use my experience with animals and work for myself. Having needed dog walking and pet services myself in the past and struggled to find someone local that could rely on, I know how worrying it can be to find the right person to care for my animals whilst I am not at home. The person I would be hiring would be responsible for two things I care about the most, my pets and my home. I therefore aim to provide a reliable and reassuring pet care service for all owners to help alleviate some of these worries. I am fully insured with PetPlan Sanctuary and have been trained in Canine First Aid (iPet Level 3). I also have an enhanced DBS check available for clients to view, so you can be assured you have someone trustworthy caring for your pets. I can provide regular or one-off dog walking and a variety of pet care services in your home (including one-off or regular visits, and overnight stays). I can even clean and maintain your aquarium for you, both freshwater and marine. I care for the pets of others nearly full time so I can fit in pet care services very flexibly. I also work part time shifts caring for an exotic animal collection at a local college and can usually fit in pet visits and overnight stays around this. Pets are cared for with their own comfort, and peace of mind of the owner, at the heart of the routine. As much as possible I try to ensure the pet's normal routine is not disturbed, which can help many pets when their owners are away. This is especially true for nervous cats and shy dogs who often need their own space, and I try not to pressure them into being in my company if they do not want it. On the other hand, confident cats and dogs can always get the scritches, belly rubs and play time they ask for! I try to wind this down in the late evening to ensure that pets know it is coming towards bed time. I believe it is very important to respect pets and owners boundaries. For example, if they're not allowed on the sofa with you, they're not with me either. This is all talked through at the meet and greet I insist on arranging before every booking to make sure we're all on the same page and the pets can meet me at least once before I stay with them. Rest assured your sofa will remain pet-hair free during any stay if that is your preference. When undertaking overnight stays with dogs, I try to pop by at least once during the day for a toilet break. Because I have other dog walking and pet visit commitments I can't always be there a lot of the day at the home, but ensure I pop by at least once in between my other commitments. For other animals (cats or other small pets) I do not usually do this unless needed for their health and wellbeing. I try to have a minimal impact on the owner's home when staying overnight. I bring my own ready-made food, my own bedding, and even my own entertainment. There's nothing more of a chore than coming home from holiday to clean extra bedding along with your own holiday laundry!
“Melissa has been great with my two pups, they seem to have taken to her instantly She kept me in the loop during the walk sent some great photos of my girls having a lot of fun on their walk and spent some time after having cuddles and strokes which is exactly what my two dogs love almost as much as being out in the sunshine on a field Would definitely recommend Melissa great communication and an excellent service with my two pups”

About: Hi there! 😊 I’m Gabby, and the person in the pictures with me is my partner, Adam. 🖐 Over the past six months, we’ve had the pleasure of caring for several pets, both at home & away. And we’re excited to continue helping owners when they need reliable, loving care for their furry friends. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide consistent attention and companionship — whether your pet is staying with us or in their own home. I’m available for regular visits, drop offs, house sitting and longer stays. - My goal is always to make sure pets feel safe, happy and comfortable while their owners are away. Our home is right next to a large park and beautiful countryside, which is perfect for walks, playtime, and outdoor adventures. Adam works in Leeds during the week but enjoys spending evenings and weekends with the animals in our care. Adam loves animals and has really enjoyed welcoming pets into his home over the past few months. Our home is ideal for pets that enjoy attention, affection and a relaxed environment. 😊 I’ve been around dogs my whole life, my family has raised West Highland Terriers and Labradors for generations, so caring for dogs comes naturally to me. 🥰 Over the years, I’ve helped raise and train puppies, supported owners with anxious or energetic dogs and cared for pets of all ages, species and temperaments. I’ve also owned cats 🐾, dogs, and even a couple of lizards 🦎. I regularly look after two Labradors for up to a fortnight a few times a year, both in their home and ours, and I've cat-sat numerous times for all 5 of the cats in the pictures. We've also looked after two very cute Terriers who were a little nervous at first, as they haven't had much time away from their owner, but they seemed very settled and comfortable with us by the end of their stay. And most recently a beautiful Cane Corso who was a delight from the moment he was dropped off and we hope to welcome him back to our home soon. Adam and I are confident with pets who need plenty of exercise, structure or gentle reassurance 😊 and I have my own transport, which comfortably fits around two medium-sized Labradors. Visiting dogs are welcome in our home, which has a secure high fenced back porch. And are welcome to sleep in the kitchen on their own beds beside the radiator so they feel safe and comfortable. When sitting - I understand that inviting someone into your home, to look after your pet requires a lot of trust, so I take care to look after both your pets and your home thoughtfully. I make a point of keeping things clean and organised, following instructions closely and aim to leave everything just as you left it. I'm always happy to answer any questions you may have, so you can feel completely comfortable that your pets and/or home will be in safe hands with me, and I'm happy to arrange an inital 30 minute meet and greet following inital booking enquires. Pets must be house trained, non-agressive towards people and comfortable walking on a lead. Owners to provide beds and food for the duration of their pet’s stay. 🐾 Pet care fits very naturally into our routine. I have flexible working schedules, which means I can plan my day around the needs of pets able to give regular walks, attention and companionship throughout the day. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. In our home, dogs are always supervised, have access to a secure, fenced garden for outdoor play and are welcome to rest comfortably inside with their own beds. We make sure the environment is calm, clean and free from hazards. When visiting a pet owner’s home, we follow their instructions carefully, respect their routines and ensure the pet is safe and comfortable at all times. Whether at home or theirs, we provide consistent supervision, plenty of attention, and maintain a trustworthy, reliable presence so both pets and owners feel confident and at ease.
About: I have looked after dogs young and old since I was a kid and have 10 years of training guide dog puppies at home. I am comfortable handling big, medium and small-sized dogs and I'm good at adapting to individual dogs needs. I am a researcher who works from home so my hours are flexible (especially Mon-Fri) and I can fit in with you and your dog's schedule. I am happy to adapt to whatever requirements you have for your dog's comfort in their own home including any particular feeding or toilet needs.
About: I have a lifetime's experience of owning dogs. I have previously bred my own dogs, trained and competed in obedience competitions and consider myself a responsible owner. I have grown up with dogs and horses around. I have a border collie Sadie, who joined us at 18months old and is now 9yrs. Sadie (along with our previous 2 dogs) came from a rescue centre. I'm proud that she has become a loving, happy dog overcoming the bad treatment she had from her early years. I can be trusted to give your pet the care and attention along with individual requirements in your absence and would be happy to give updates throughout the stay. I am retired so can be flexible with my time. I walk our socialised dog daily and if you'd like her to join a daily walk that would be great, though your pet will receive whatever care that is required for their individual needs. I would follow the owner's instructions and routine to allow the pet the consistent care and attention needed to keep it as content and happy as possible in their own environment..
About: I used to spend the summers volunteering for the RSPCA at kennels, so I’ve cared for every pet under the sun! Babies, seniors and ill cats all require a lot of time and attention which I’m happy to give! I work hybrid and my work hours are very flexible so it’s very easy for me to come during whatever hours are needed! I also have a car making transportation not an issue I have a fenced yard in a closed off one way street so there are limited cars nearby apart from the neighbours! My neighbourhood is also fairly quiet as the residents are families that have lived here for 15+ years so everyone is very consider Of each other
About: A lifelong animal lover who would be so excited to take care of your little family members. My pooch is fortunate to have company most days since I work 3 days a week. I would be glad to offer your pups a helping hand and support since not everyone has this opportunity. I have house-sat for friends' and families' pets, so thought it would be a great opportunity to share my love with others. Previously I've had Japanese Akita’s, Shih Tzu and Labrador’s and now my bundle of fun Cockapoo 'Doug', so have plenty of experience training and caring for high-energy larger dogs that need lots of mental stimulation and enrichment. If your pup is happier cuddling on the couch, that works perfectly for a bookworm like me. As long as you're away, your furry family member will get all the attention and belly rubs it needs. I live a short walk from Northcliff park a quiet dog park and Roberts Park so your pooch will always have a big, grassy area to play on or off-leash or we can go for nice long walks. I love exploring new areas too, so if you are located in another area I would thrive on exploring new walks with your furry friend. While you're away, your pet can enjoy a good cuddle, play session, and park walk. As much as anything, I am a patient, loving, and reliable person, who loves sharing my love of animals with others. I am a qualified midwife. So not only do I love my fur babies but I bring real babies into the world. I work shift work but only 3 days a week so have 4 days free to love your fur babies as much as I love mine! My dog has free rein of the house. He sleeps on our bed and knows no where is off limited. Any dog is welcome to sleep on our sofa aswell, I believe a pet is as much part of the family as anyone else. I have a big garden which is fully secure with 6ft walls, the garden is packed with toys (as my dog takes them out and does not bring them back)
