About: I have had dogs throughout my entire life, and more recently I became a registered veterinary nurse, where I work mostly with dogs. I often look after my dad’s dog Stanley, who is seen on my profile picture. We recently went on a solo holiday together, where we enjoyed going on lots of hikes. Being an RVN, I am trained in CPR and giving medications. I currently work a night shift rotation of 1 week on and 2 weeks off. I plan to only pet sit during my 2 weeks off so that I am available at all times during the day. I will diligently follow instructions from the owner, while also using my professional judgement on the wellbeing of the cat. If I have any concerns I will immediately contact the owner, and stay with the cat until I am sure that everything is okay. During my visits I will spend time with the cat, and try to gain their trust. However, I also understand that cats like their space and boundaries respected. I am available to go on either short walks with your dog or longer walks with a maximum of 2 hours. I will diligently follow your instructions on what your dog likes during their walk!

I’ve looked after, walked, feed and playing with Boarder Collies, Westies, Poodles, Whippet, chickens and more. I work 4 days a week and usually have Wednesdays and Thursdays off with the ability to do dog walks on those days. There is possibly to do more depending on my shift work. I live directly next to a park and woodland which are great for walking, happy to keep them on the lead or if recall is good to let them off

About: Hi, I’m Isobel! I’m a graphic designer who works from home some days and I absolutely love animals. I live with my fiancé Tom (he’s in my photos) I have experience with both cat and dog sitting, walking, feeding, bathing, playing, and lots of cuddles! I’ve helped care for our family dogs and my fiancé’s (my fiancé is called Tom) pets — two big dogs and a cat — so I’m confident with pets of all sizes. As is Tom as well, he will be looking after your pet with me some days, due to the nature of his job he might not be in some days. Due to the nature of our work, one of us is nearly always home, your pet will get plenty of love, attention, and toilet breaks throughout the day. I’ll always treat your dog or cat like part of the family. If you think we’d be a good fit, feel free to pop by for a cuppa! I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, and I’m also available on Thursday evenings if needed. Tom is usually home on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, as he often flies on weekends. Between us, someone is typically around most of the week. We’ll do our best to work with your schedule — even in a last-minute emergency. We also have a car and can collect your pet if needed. We usually stay in on weekends and would be happy to look after your pet for the whole weekend if required. Both me and Tom will be at home most days, due to Toms job there might be days where he is working and will not be in the house. But I will be at home to give your pet care and attention. We have a lovely back garden — while it’s not fenced in, we’re happy to sit outside with your pet and keep a close eye on them, or keep them on a lead for safety. We also live near several parks and can drive them to the woods if they’d enjoy a longer walk. If your pet needs a pram, we’re more than happy to push them along for some fresh air! We can also feed and bathe your pet, and if they have any medical needs, we’ll do our best to ensure they take their medication (we’re fans of the classic cheese ball method!). We're happy to work around your schedule and will send regular updates and photos of your pet being thoroughly spoilt.

About: I have just graduated as a veterinary surgeon this year! Therefore, I have lots of experience around animals. I have undertaken placements in vets, kennels, and in numerous farm settings. I have my own dog who has unfortunately had spinal surgery twice so I understand how to cater to specific needs and the extra care that is needed with some animals which I am willing to give! Therefore I also understand that people are very precious about their pets and I assure you they’re in good hands! I am free all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Please message me any queries about times, I have times where I am free throughout the week so can try work something out! About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals, I have a real passion for training and nearly chose to do animal behaviour at university! I have experience with rescue/shelter animals that perhaps need a more delicate hand especially in stressful or triggering scenarios where they miss their owners. Growing up I had 2 rescues from the RSPCA who were quite reactive but with time and consistency were able to be off leash and interact well with other dogs. Currently I have two family dogs who I have trained, one is a border collie and the other a whippet but the rewarding nature of training is still the same. Fun party tricks as well as useful habits that are utilised in walks and at home. I’m used to senior dogs and the additional implications of them, my last dog was with us until she was 19! I have a real soft spot for senior dogs. I’m currently in my third year of uni but I only have 3 days a week! I have a four day weekend every week where I can be home! I have a car and am next to Hyde park for walking, but would probably prefer to take them to Roundhay as there is considerably more space and freedom! I have a few housemates who I have lived with for over a year now and who have all agreed, but are similarly animal lovers. I have a large house, there is a front garden area that is fenced but is very small with no grass. The house backs onto burley park and is 1 minute from Hyde park so this would be where I would take a dog throughout the day, before doing longer walks in Roundhay or other further more suitable locations.

About: I have been on rover since November 2023 and as massive dog lovers, we are having the time of our lives looking after other people's pets. I have had dogs all our life and been surrounded by dogs in the family since childhood. I have a Labrador called Bella who is 7, she is great with other dogs and very well behaved. She is a real pampered pooch, regularly exercised and has lots of cuddles. Unfortunately we lost Ted our 8 year old Labrador to cancer in September 24, you will most likely read a lot about him in our reviews. We now have Nelly who is a 1 year old lab. Both are great with dogs, however they don’t always have to come to your house when I am dog sitting, sometimes they can stay at home. Monday to Friday Maria works from home so your pooch will have lots of company and cuddles. I work local to home for lunchtime walks. On evening and weekends I run or walk with Bella, so your dog will get plenty of exercise. We have a large enclosed garden for safety , Bella sleeps downstairs in the kitchen or living room, your dog can sleep up or downstairs.

About: I am an animal lover at heart and have always had a cat in my life. I currently have the lovely Melvin, a grey tabby cat. I love animals and getting to know their individual personalities. I have had experience of giving my family's elderly cats (17/18 years old) medicine and looked after small/medium dogs. We have used Cat in a Flat often and have found it really helpful especially for short trips away and last minute cat sitting needs. I look forward to finding out about your pets and what they need! About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 8 years old, I have helped train, take care and look after them. I am currently studying Psychology at Uni and use my love for dogs and care to help cover my studies. I am currently at University so I have a set schedule, but plenty of time during the week and weekend to look after and play with your dog! About: I’ve always loved animals especially dogs and I treat them literally like fur babies! Ever since I was a young child I’ve had dogs around me and as pets. I use to always enjoy walking the neighbours dogs too. I’ve looked after friends and family’s pets numerous of times whilst they’ve been on holiday or just at work.
