Laura was amazing with Bella and with us, very accommodating and gave us updates and pictures every day. She came to meet bella prior to us going away to make us feel better and Bella seemed to love her. Made us feel a lot more relaxed about going away without her and we will be coming to Laura in the future when we next need a dog walker. Would definitely recommend to a friend:)

Lucy was excellent. We were up in Pateley Bridge for a wedding and nervous leaving Jeff alone. She filled us with confidence that he was in safe hands. She kept us updated with photos and texts on how he was. Thank you Lucy ☺️

About: Hi, I’m based in Harrogate. I previously owned a lovely beagle and had a much-loved cat who lived to the grand age of 22, so I’m very experienced with caring for pets. 8 I now have Mabel, our 1-year-old kitten. I’m a keen runner and very active, and I absolutely love dogs. While I am not in a position to own one at the moment, I really enjoy spending time walking and caring for other people’s dogs. I’m available all day on Fridays and can also offer weekend walks when available. Your dog will be in safe, caring, and energetic hands! I am available on a Friday all day, this can be morning, afternoon or evening. I am also available on a weekend to suit. Can be flexible. I own one kitten. I live next to a field which others walk their dogs and I am close by to the greenway for walking if required .

About: I have 2 dogs of my own, one is 3 and the other is 1 both lurchers. I've cared for elderly dogs when in my 20s, they were family pets but when the family broke down I took on the care of them both even down to pushing the eldest in around in a doggy pram so the younger one could get the exercise she needed! I'm also taking some online courses to further develop my pet care skills. I'm currently not working, so I have plenty of free time to paly with and care for your pets. I will provide them with the same love and compassion I do my own. I won't be offering house boarding as me and my partner are in process of moving into a motorhome and will go travelling later this year. I do have 2 dogs of my own so if your happy for them to join yours on walks I can do so. Socialising is important especially at a young age!

About: I have been around working dogs since I was a child. When I was younger I had the ambition of being a veterinary surgeon and so had to gain animal experience to apply for the course. This included farm work, doing multiple weeks at 2 vet's practices and over a year and a half dog walking for the RSPCA. Since moving to Harrogate many years ago, I have walked and looked after 30 + dogs in the area; including house-sitting and drop-in visits. My job requires me to have a current DBS check in place. I am confident with big dogs as well as small ones and would happily meet beforehand to hopefully put your mind at ease. I am free on weekends all day, although do visit family etc on these days but not on a regular basis. I mostly work from home (usual office hours). I can walk the dog before and after work, combined with play and scent work during the day. Usually, if I were lucky enough to look after your dog, this would involve lots of outdoor exercise (providing the dog is able to). I live very close to the Stray in Harrogate, so if needed it would not be far to quickly bring him or her home briefly for a drink or rest. However, I do drive so would be comfortable walking / looking after wherever your home is. Rover now encourages you now to message more than one person, this is a new feature and it isn't necessary, as I do reply quickly. I take great pride in my reviews and the service I offer. I have so much dog-handling experience and lots of common sense!

If repeat care is required, I will strive to ensure varied stimulating activities for your pet. I am currently working part-time Monday-Friday, so have lunch time and evening availability every day. Please contact me if you need a walk or drop in at other times, and I will do my best to accommodate! I am usually available on weekends, so please don’t hesitate to check my availability. I am trained in pet behaviour, and have extensive experience in looking after pets, including puppies. Please contact me to discuss any concerns before booking. About: I adore dogs! I have helped run a dog kennels for over 3 years before I went travelling. I have also worked at a dog and cat animal charity for 1.5 years in Edinburgh, where I'm from. When I was travelling in Australia I also done dog walking as I needed my doggy fix down under as well. I had a family dog who was my absolute soul dog and best friend. I would care for your dog like it was my own furry pal. I currently work in the nhs supporting children with mental health issues. This is a challenging but very rewarding career. I do miss having furry, four legged friends in my life though. My schedule changes each week and I can be working different days each week but my work can be flexible if I'm given enough notice as to what days you need pet covered. We have a small fenced garden at the front of the house. We are moving house which has a decent, fenced garden at the back of the property. We are hoping to get a dog next year which would offer company to your dog, if that's what they like.

About: Hi! We’re a pet-loving couple based in Harrogate with years of experience caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes. We’re proud pet parents to Everett, our miniature labradoodle, and we know just how important it is to find someone you trust with your furry family member. We both work from home most of the time, which means your dog will get plenty of attention, cuddles, and companionship throughout the day. Our home is right next to a beautiful green space with easy access to nature walks - perfect for dogs who love to explore. We’ve gone through puppy training with Everett, so we’re confident in handling everything from basic obedience to keeping your dog calm and engaged in a new environment. And since there are two of us, your dog will always have someone nearby for playtime, snuggles, or just a reassuring presence. We treat every dog like our own - with love, patience, and lots of tail wags. Our flexible work schedules allow us to adjust our days around your dog’s needs. Since our own pup, Everett, has a bit of separation anxiety, one of us is always home - so your dog will never be left alone for long. We’re typically available most days, and we keep our Rover calendar up to date to reflect any trips or time away. You can count on us to be present, attentive, and responsive to your pet’s routine. For daycare and boarding, we provide extra beds, toys, and games to help your dog feel comfortable and entertained. If needed, we can fully dog-proof the house by putting away slippers, clearing coffee tables, and closing curtains for dogs that are sensitive to outside distractions. Our Labradoodle, Everett, will be a friendly companion for your dog throughout their stay. During longer visits, and with your approval, we may take your dog on extended nature walks in the nearby green spaces to keep them active and engaged.

About: I’ve been a professional dog walker, have owned, cared for and trained rescue dogs my whole life and volunteered at Dogs Trust for a number of years. I’m currently working full time through weekdays but have weekends and weeknights free to care for your pups! My partner Josh works from home during the day and is happy to be on hand to assist with any feeding and walks (which he is very used to as he grew up helping his mum who was a dog sitter.) Although I live in a flat, the space is very secure and the dog would have free rein of the flat should they need boarding. I also live next to plenty of great walks and areas for dogs to exercise in and I’d be happy to take them on the walks that suit them best. I have a full clean drivers license and would be happy to take dogs out to more adventurous spots should they enjoy them.

About: Me and my partner Edward are long-term dog lovers with experience looking after dogs. We have a little cockapoo called Dotty who is rather timid but loves company of other dogs. We have experience teaching tricks, are avid dog cuddlers and love a nice walk. We have recent experience with puppies and are very patient. Edward is fully remote so always available to help and I work around client requirement wherever possible to be as available as you need. We love centrally and are flexible in terms of other commitments. We can assist with daytime dog care and offer overnight dog sitting in our home, with the requirement of us meeting before to ensure your dog and you feel as comfortable as required. Typically with longer-term overnight stays we require a trial night to ensure your pouch feels happy to be with us before staying for a long time. We offer lots of love and kindness to dogs and would be so excited to help with yours!

Ewalina was brilliant with Guinness. Very professional, she arranged to meet Guinness the evening before her scheduled walk. She was super friendly and clearly has a real love of dogs! On the day, Ewalina sent pictures of Guinness enjoying her walk which was very reassuring. Will definitely rebook in the future!
