About: I’ve honestly had dogs around me for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I’ve owned and cared for everything from tiny pups to large mixed breeds, so I’m completely used to all kinds of dog personalities, sizes, and energy levels. Right now, I have my own 9 year old dog, Simba, so I really understand the day-to-day of caring for a pet, from keeping up with their favorite walk routines to just knowing when they need some quiet downtime. I know how important it is to feel like your dog is safe and happy when you're away, and I promise your pup will be treated like absolute family here! I am at home full-time, which means your dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone and will receive constant care and attention throughout the day. My schedule is incredibly flexible, allowing me to easily maintain your pup's exact feeding times, frequent potty breaks, and specific walk routines. Whether they need active daytime companionship or just a quiet presence to keep them company while they snooze, I am here all day to make sure they feel completely secure and looked after. We have a really warm, dog-loving home where your dog will be treated like one of our own. Our house is a lively, happy family space with myself, my husband (working full-time), and our two university aged kids who are currently back home and absolutely adore dogs. We also have a 4-year-old daughter who is wonderful and very gentle around pets (though she'll be at school for most of the summer). Outside, we have a fully fenced garden with a great grass section, so there's plenty of space for safe sniffing and stretching. Between all of us and our friendly dog Simba, your pup will get non-stop affection, company, and a safe family environment to settle right into!

About: I grew up with dogs and absolutely love having them around. I work from home, so I have plenty of time for lunchtime walks, playtime, and giving your dog lots of attention. I’m also very happy to have a snuggle on the sofa in the evenings. I work from home three days a week, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to give dogs real attention throughout the day. I also have the option to bring a dog into the office, so they’re never left alone for long periods. I love being active and would always make sure they get a morning and lunchtime walk so lots of company. I have a fenced garden in a three bed new build property and I live close to fields and nice walks, which I love to go on.

About: I have grown up around dogs since the age of 10. With 2 family cocker spaniels I am used to the craziness that having a dog brings to a household. I no longer live with my family dogs and miss being around them. I have experience with elderly dogs, one of my family dogs died this year at the age of 14 and she needed full time cars for months. We had a litter of puppies when I was younger, so I am experienced with younger dogs as well. I graduated from university 2 years ago and now work from home almost full time (I tend to go into the office once a week, but this is flexible). I would care for your dogs in the same manner you would. Whatever they need I am able to provide. I understand all dogs are different. I love long walks and they can accompany me daily.

About: I’ve owned dogs since I was 11 & have owned my own lovely, little dog (Arthur) for 6 years. Arthur loves new friends & loves hosting other dogs for him to play with so I thought it would be great to up my home to boarding. Our home is clean, safe and warm with a small enclosed courtyard garden & enclosed communal space with lots of areas nearby to walk your pup! Arthur is very friendly & loves to play and share his toys with his new friends and would welcome new small dog friends into my home. He likes dogs of all ages & sizes but prefers smaller to medium sized friends. My apartment is a decent space but probably wouldn’t be suitable for large dog breeds. I look forward to hosting your doggo! I currently work part time but I am available most weekends and changeable weekdays for boarding. I wake early & walk my dog, we play during the day and take another walk in the evening. I have plenty of free time at home in the day for wee breaks & I am generally at home all day. I have a fenced garden, hedged communal space and large sub level apartment with a lovely little poochon called Arthur. Arthur loves new friends & would be delighted to host more friends here for him to play with. I am at home most of the time so available to give your dog lots of attention, walks and love. I would treat your dog like I treat Arthur (like a prince!)

About: I’ve always been a huge animal lover and genuinely love spending time with dogs of all personalities. I volunteered for 2 months with Soi Dog Foundation, where I spent my days walking, caring for, and giving attention to lots of different dogs, including some nervous kennel dogs who needed extra patience and love. In my free time, I also look after my auntie’s cheeky Border Terrier, so I’m very used to energetic walks, playtime, cuddles, and making sure pets feel happy, safe, and spoiled while their owners are away 🐾💕 I choose my own shifts, so I’m usually available with just a few days’ notice! I also only work 3 days a week, which means I’ll have plenty of time during the day for walks, playtime, cuddles, and giving your cute little ones all the attention they deserve 🫶🐾 For your pet’s comfort and safety, I currently offer walks and house visits in your home rather than boarding. I’ll make sure your pets feel happy, cared for, and comfortable in their familiar environment 🫶

About: I have grown up with cats and have spent a lot of time walking dogs in my local area through Borrow my Doggy. I adore animals and will give your pets all the attention they need (or lack of attention if your pet is more of a recluse). I have had two family cats for 15+ years and lots of experience with animal care, and I am gentle and calm with animals and understand when they need space as well as cuddles. I have a flexible work schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet sitting whether during the working week or at weekends. I love to stroke and cuddle cats but also understand when a cat would rather be left alone or needs a safe space to itself. I am used to senior cats as my own boy is currently 17 years old!

About: I adore dogs! I have helped run a dog kennels for over 3 years before I went travelling. I have also worked at a dog and cat animal charity for 1.5 years in Edinburgh, where I'm from. When I was travelling in Australia I also done dog walking as I needed my doggy fix down under as well. I had a family dog who was my absolute soul dog and best friend. I would care for your dog like it was my own furry pal. I currently work in the nhs supporting children with mental health issues. This is a challenging but very rewarding career. I do miss having furry, four legged friends in my life though. My schedule changes each week and I can be working different days each week but my work can be flexible if I'm given enough notice as to what days you need pet cover. We have a fenced garden at the back of the property. We are hoping to get a dog this year which would offer company to your dog, if that's what they like. We will be patient with your dog and keep it's routine as close to being at home as we can.

About: I have been around working dogs since I was a child. When I was younger I had the ambition of being a veterinary surgeon and so had to gain animal experience to apply for the course. This included farm work, doing multiple weeks at 2 vet's practices and over a year and a half dog walking for the RSPCA. Since moving to Harrogate many years ago, I have walked and looked after 30 + dogs in the area; including house-sitting and drop-in visits. My job requires me to have a current DBS check in place. I am confident with big dogs as well as small ones and would happily meet beforehand to hopefully put your mind at ease. I am free on weekends all day, although do visit family etc on these days but not on a regular basis. I mostly work from home (usual office hours). I can walk the dog before and after work, combined with play and scent work during the day. Usually, if I were lucky enough to look after your dog, this would involve lots of outdoor exercise (providing the dog is able to). I live very close to the Stray in Harrogate, so if needed it would not be far to quickly bring him or her home briefly for a drink or rest. However, I do drive so would be comfortable walking / looking after wherever your home is. Rover now encourages you now to message more than one person, this is a new feature and it isn't necessary, as I do reply quickly. I take great pride in my reviews and the service I offer. I have so much dog-handling experience and lots of common sense!

We have a fenced garden so it’s fully safe and enclosed. Roxy has a tracker on and we have a spare we could always add to collars whilst they stay with us.

About: I've cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities since I was a child. Friends, neighbours and family have always relied on me to feed, walk and look after their pets when they’re away. I’m calm, patient and comfortable with everything from energetic puppies to older dogs who prefer slower, relaxed walks and plenty of company. I’m also an avid hiker and love exploring the beautiful area I’m lucky enough to live in. I enjoy getting outside and giving dogs the chance to properly stretch their legs, whether that’s a gentle local walk or a longer adventure for more energetic dogs. I always tailor walks to the individual dog’s needs, age and energy level so they get the right balance of exercise and care. I currently only have to work a few hours in the evenings, which means I’m available during the day and most weekends. I’m reliable, flexible and happy to stick to your dog’s usual routine so they feel comfortable while you’re away. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. I pick and choose my hours as my job is essentially just talking on the phone, so it’s pretty easy to manage care. Playing games, long walks, cuddles on the sofa ect. The area is great for long and short walks and I usually plan a few longer ones a week ahead of time. I'm open to suggestions for interesting places. Owners instructions above all else. I’m able to care for pets in my home as I don't have to leave the house for work. There are so many nice areas nearby for walks which is a part of my routine regardless. I have a decent sized fenced back garden and a lot of room for the animal I'm caring for to play in.

About: I'm Ilona from FURRY LOVE home boarding service. I have almost 2 years experience working as a licensed home boarder. I'm fully insured and canine aid trained. I have grown up with dogs , I love being around them. I'm own 2 beautiful dogs Max and Amber. Taking care about your dog is my 24/7 job I offer group walks, doggie day care and home boarding. I walk a maximum of 5 dogs at a time. I offer at least two 30 min walks per day. Also dogs can play safely in the garden. We have a front garden and a back garden, both fenced.

About: I’ve participated in volunteered dog walking for the elderly and disabled for many years and have cared for dogs at home while family friends have been away, but most importantly I know what it’s like to care for my own pets as I’ve had two cats. My schedule is flexible as I work a part time job with varying hours. Very much depends as to what is happening week to week. I am in a very central location with good access to buses and trains. I only currently do sittings at pets’ location due to shared living with a cat.
