About: I have grown up around dogs since the age of 10. With 2 family cocker spaniels I am used to the craziness that having a dog brings to a household. I no longer live with my family dogs and miss being around them. I have experience with elderly dogs, one of my family dogs died this year at the age of 14 and she needed full time cars for months. We had a litter of puppies when I was younger, so I am experienced with younger dogs as well. I graduated from university 2 years ago and now work from home almost full time (I tend to go into the office once a week, but this is flexible). I would care for your dogs in the same manner you would. Whatever they need I am able to provide. I understand all dogs are different. I love long walks and they can accompany me daily.

I am currently home from uni for the summer so I’m very flexible! I am free seven days a week for walks, feeding, playing, sitting and boarding your dog I have a fenced garden and live very close to many great places for walking and playing with dogs. About: I adore dogs! I have helped run a dog kennels for over 3 years before I went travelling. I have also worked at a dog and cat animal charity for 1.5 years in Edinburgh, where I'm from. When I was travelling in Australia I also done dog walking as I needed my doggy fix down under as well. I had a family dog who was my absolute soul dog and best friend. I would care for your dog like it was my own furry pal. I currently work in the nhs supporting children with mental health issues. This is a challenging but very rewarding career. I do miss having furry, four legged friends in my life though. My schedule changes each week and I can be working different days each week but my work can be flexible if I'm given enough notice as to what days you need pet cover. We have a fenced garden at the back of the property. We now have our own golden retriever pup called ozzy who is the centre of our universe. Due to this I have put a hold on dog boarding in my house but still more than happy to drop by to owners houses to keep your pooch company as well as offer dog walking services.

About: I have been around working dogs since I was a child. When I was younger I had the ambition of being a veterinary surgeon and so had to gain animal experience to apply for the course. This included farm work, doing multiple weeks at 2 vet's practices and over a year and a half dog walking for the RSPCA. Since moving to Harrogate many years ago, I have walked and looked after 30 + dogs in the area; including house-sitting and drop-in visits. My job requires me to have a current DBS check in place. I am confident with big dogs as well as small ones and would happily meet beforehand to hopefully put your mind at ease. I am free on weekends all day, although do visit family etc on these days but not on a regular basis. I mostly work from home (usual office hours). I can walk the dog before and after work, combined with play and scent work during the day. Usually, if I were lucky enough to look after your dog, this would involve lots of outdoor exercise (providing the dog is able to). I live very close to the Stray in Harrogate, so if needed it would not be far to quickly bring him or her home briefly for a drink or rest. However, I do drive so would be comfortable walking / looking after wherever your home is. Rover now encourages you now to message more than one person, this is a new feature and it isn't necessary, as I do reply quickly. I take great pride in my reviews and the service I offer. I have so much dog-handling experience and lots of common sense!

About: Hi, I’m Eleanor (but you can call me Ellie). Throughout my childhood into my adult years, my family has looked after dogs for neighbours, friends, collegues and more. It was a wonderful experience. Going into my teenage years the tasks of walking, feeding, bathing and playing were put onto me and my brothers. I have looked after a range of dogs in size and age, from puppies to seniors and from a Daschund to a Great Dane/Labrador mix. I also have experience giving medicine to those who need it. I adore being around animals, and would love to make sure that your dog has a fantastic, fun time filled with playing and cuddles. I love walking, and would enjoy long walks in interesting and enriching places. I’m currently a university student and I go back to uni on the 22nd of September. On Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursday I have classes but I have time in the afternoon. I will only be able to care for your pet at your own home as I am living in student housing where no animals are allowed. I am able to crate your dog if necessary or if you would prefer me to do so. I am very focused on ensuring the safety of your pet, and I will have my attention on them at all times.

About: I grew up with dogs and absolutely love having them around. I work from home, so I have plenty of time for lunchtime walks, playtime, and giving your dog lots of attention. I’m also very happy to have a snuggle on the sofa in the evenings. I can also arrange dog grooming while they stay with me, a job less for you. My location where I live is perfect and safe for all dogs. I only take dogs from one household at any time so that they get my undivided attention. You are welcome to arrange to visit my home before confirming any bookings. I am retired and can spend all day/night looking after your dogs. I live in a fabulous location surrounded by fields this allows for some great walks. My house is a detatched house located in the middle of fields. My garden is fenced in with dry stone walling. The ground floor of my house is floor boarding and tiles so very practical for dog caring.

About: I’m experience with housesitting for short and extended periods, ensuring the pets are well walked, fed and of course get plenty of attention. I also always maintain clear communication with the pet owner before and throughout the visit so you can enjoy your outing reassured your furry friend is in good hands. I have grown up around dogs and currently have 2 family dogs who I love to pieces and I am often trusted with their care. Despite having less experience with cats, I adore them and I’m familiar with their needs to provide good quality care :) I’m currently a student so I have some free time on my hands outside of classes. This means I’ll be available to keep your pets company on weekends, Wednesdays and Friday evenings. I ensure any opening is closed/ locked up before letting my dogs roam or leaving the house. My mum is big on keeping things clean so I also make sure dirty paws stay away from carpets if possible. Along with that comes lots of snuggles and play time!

About: Having had 2 dogs of my own and looking after friends and families dogs for a few years - your fur babies will be given the upmost attention and love by me. I am a very active person who loves to walk and run but I am also incredibly patient and can go at whatever pace is needed. Being a self employed Pilates instructor and dancer - I have a lot of availability to walk in ‘normal’ 9-5 work hours and can work around you ! This also means I am incredibly active and can take your dogs on short or long and active walks. When pet sitting in your home - I will make sure to give your dog/dogs all of my attention and leave your home looking the same as how I found it!
