A typical day always starts with a good walk (with or without a dog friend), which sets me up for the day. I like to mix things up depending on the dog’s personality - whether that’s a long countryside walk, a play session in the park, or a gentler stroll for older dogs.

I’ve always loved spending time with dogs - whether it’s walking, playing, or just keeping them company. My sister’s golden retriever has been part of the family for over seven years, and I’m often the first to offer when friends or family need their dogs walked or looked after. I’ve cared for a wide range of dogs - including labradors, spaniels, cockapoos, and terriers. I am self employed, and simply looking for nice dogs to take on walks to break up my day. I’m reliable, flexible, and love long walks, making me a great match for energetic dogs. Whether it’s a last-minute walk or regular care, I’ll make sure your dog is happy, well-exercised, and ready for a snooze afterwards.

Michael is great with our Golden Retriever. He’s very punctual and is quick to respond to messages. Would highly recommend Michael.
Michael and I spent a few months dog sitting (via Trusted Housesitters) all over the UK for dogs including a labrador, labradoodle, spaniel, cockapoo, border doodle and a Yorkshire Terrier. One of the pet owners summed it up well when he said Michael has “great dog energy” - he loves dogs, and will play and cuddle with them, but is also firm and won’t hand out treats for the sake of it if they’re not behaving! He loves walking too, so would be an ideal person to take your furry friend out and about.
Michael is great with our Golden Retriever, Polly. She is super excited every time she sees him and he makes a real fuss of her which is lovely. Michael is really reliable and has been flexible with fitting in last minute dog walks for us at short notice. Polly is always ready for a big snooze when she gets back! Cannot recommend Michael highly enough.
