“Sydney is wonderful with my dog Tali for her daily walks. I get sent happy pictures from every walk 😊 and she’s even gone so far as to get treats which Tali isn’t allergic to. Would recommend wholeheartedly!”

“Caitlin did an amazing job walking our two! Unfortunately we had to go into the office and our girls were so thrilled to get their daily lunch time walk and we’re so well looked after! Thanks again Caitlin - the dogs can’t wait to see you again :)”

“Ewan was fantastic! Communicative and enthusiastic. He walked Arthur on a very hot day, Ewan kindly contacted me before the walk to offer to change the time, flexed the plan and did everything to make sure our pup was alright. I'd really recommend Ewan, he really cares”

About: I have a love of animals and have grown up with multiple dogs and cats. I have 4.5 years of experience working in a kennels/cattery. This allows me to have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds and temperaments. I have previously been in charge of 10+ dogs, therefore, I can look after any number of pets. I am also able to administer medications including tablets, eyedrops and eardrops. Furthermore, I have some experience with working dogs and would be open to caring for them too. I have stayed overnight at neighbours houses to look after their dogs for up to a week in the past. I am currently a university student with a varying schedule but I am flexible and able to discuss and work around owners/ dogs needs. I have a lot of free time and can spend a number of hours playing/caring for your pets. I will not be able to take dogs into my home due to living in rented, shared housing. However, I am happy to take them in my car (if needed), for walks wherever they are comfortable, or to stay in the owners home. While caring for dogs, I am able to feed, walk, clean up after them and administer any medications.
About: Hi I’m Emma, I’ve spent most of life around animals. From small furry little ones in cages to really big ones that live in stables. I’ve nursed new borns, rescued kittens, grown up around dogs, bottle fed baby sheep, and trained horses and ponies for competitions for myself and for others. Two things I love are outdoor exercise and animals, so having the opportunity to link the two is a pretty cool opportunity for me. Over the last 20 years I’ve lived around the world and travelled a lot and so I know what it’s like worrying about your furry little friends when you go away. So here I am, offering to help. I’ll come to you and check in on your little ones, play with the cats, walk your dogs or even muck out and exercise your big ones! I’m the pet sitter you’ve been looking for, the one who has been in your shoes and knows what a worry it is when you hand over your keys to a stranger. You can rely on me. For as long as I can remember my life has involved pets. I’m up early, feeding my cat and walking my dog. I’ve always been an outdoorsy person so I like to get out and about combining my need for the great outdoors with exercise - and if I get some canine or even equine company for the journey I’m in heaven. I’ve had pets in houses, apartments, fields, equestrian facilities and kennels. I can’t take pets into my place right now as my grumpy cat and curious German shepherd might be a little too much for your ‘guests’. So I’ll come to yours. I’ve been exactly where you are, traveling and having to leave your furry friends behind or in places you really don’t want to leave them. That’s where I come in. I’m reliable, trustworthy and available 7 days week, for a day or a few weeks at a time if you need it. I walk my own dog twice a day (he’s medium drive and needs about 10km a day in exercise). My cat is an older girl, and sleeps a lot, but when she needs to interact, I’m happy to sit down with her and either just enjoy her company, or peak her interest in playing games or through interactions
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and caring for them has always come naturally to me. For the past decade, I’ve owned and cared for more specialized pets like ferrets, which has given me a deep understanding of patience, attentiveness, and individualized care. I especially love dogs and have experience training puppies as well as caring for senior dogs who need a little extra gentleness and support. From high-energy youngsters to calm, elderly companions, I’m comfortable adapting to each dog’s unique personality and needs. No dog feels unfamiliar to me, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I'm available most (if not all) days of the week currently and have plenty of time in my day to care for your loving pet. I'll care for your pet in your own home to your standards and instructions including play, treats, and meals. I can also care for them in my home, but have only a limited terraced garden space for them to play outside (my home is big for roaming, for more indoor inclined dogs).
About: I have extensive experience caring for a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and horses. I’ve grown up with pets and have also worked on farms and livery, giving me hands-on experience with both my own animals and others’. I love taking dogs on long walks, playing, and giving them lots of attention, and I’m equally comfortable relaxing at home with cats while keeping an eye on them. I’m enthusiastic, trustworthy, and genuinely care about each pet’s wellbeing. My experience with animals of all sizes and temperaments, from puppies to senior pets, allows me to provide reliable and compassionate care tailored to each individual. As a York St John university student, I have a flexible schedule and am free most of the time, allowing me to dedicate consistent care and attention to pets. I look after my own cat, Orbit, every day, and I’m passionate about giving animals love, exercise, and companionship while their owners are away. I provide pet care at the owner’s home, offering full attention to their pet’s needs. This includes regular walks, playtime, feeding, and any other care following the owner’s guidance to ensure each pet’s routine and wellbeing are maintained. I’m attentive, reliable, and always send updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are happy and cared for.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life and have trained or owned pups from every “walk” of life - from small to large, young puppies to elderly pooches, traumatized rescues to pampered pedigrees - I’ve loved them all and want to give your precious pup all the attention they deserve! ☺️ I have a precious pup of my own who loves to have new furry friends around! I like to spend a lot of time outside so walks and playing in the field are frequent. Otherwise, we’ll be found studying at one of the dog-friendly coffee shops. 🙂 I take frequent breaks from work to play with my pup so there is no shortage of affection and attention for dogs here! I also have several dog beds in my home office so if your pup likes to snuggle/sit on laps I’m always up for that while I work. 🐶
About: Had 4 different dogs in my lifetime, all who were loved until the age of 18, aswell as 2 cats, and have experience dealing with dogs all different natures and breeds. I love taking care of them and keeping them safe and being around animals brings me much joy. One of my current dogs being 18, and my other being 1, means I have to deal with both senior and youthful energy all the time, teaching me alot. I'm currently in first year at Uni, at York st John, although not going out and living the uni experience as much as others, leaving me lots of free time on weekends and on friday, and during the weekdays im not at uni and also weekday evenings, always keen for an animal to spend time with, and help out with cash flow I'm happy to adapt in whatever scenario to care for any pets, I'm happy to feed them, play with them, chill with them, keep an eye on them, take them out for walks, smother them with love, whatever you require!
“Emma is a very personable young lady who is very confident and capable with handling dogs. She has a relaxed and friendly approach with owners and has quickly achieved a happy rapport with our excitable and cuddlesome 2year old girl. Our Staffy Misty gives her a warm welcome and likes to be next to her and brings her toys for play. Most importantly Misty is comfortable with and happy to be with Emma. We will be using Emma whenever she is available and Misty needs home sitting. Emma provides a responsible and reliable able service at all times.”

York dog owners share their Rover experiences
Johnny has been absolutely fantastic! He takes Gyro on long, varied walks every day, exploring different paths so Gyro never gets bored. Gyro always comes home looking happy and well-exercised. On rainy days when Gyro gets muddy, Johnny cleans and dries him so he can relax comfortably on the sofa. Communication has been excellent throughout these past few weeks, with regular updates and photos that really put our minds at ease. Highly recommend Johnny for anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog walker!

James has been an extremely reliable and brilliant dog walker! He always walks my dog at the time I ask, and I always felt comfortable with James letting himself into the house to take my dog for walks. Always loved seeing the pictures James would take of my dog on his walks. Would recommend James to anyone! 😊

Casey was amazing with our three dogs! She walked them for a full week and kept me updated every day with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. The dogs were happy, well-exercised, and clearly loved their time with Casey. Reliable, caring, and wonderful to work with — I’d book again in a heartbeat!

Amelia had been absolutely wonderful with our dogs. Pedro had so much fun on his walk and always comes back worn out and ready to nap. She's always been perfectly on time and always makes sure the dogs are back in the house, happy and safe before locking up and leaving them. Cannot praise her enough, just brilliant!

I needed a dog walker for my 12 month Labrador at short notice, Kitty wasn't able to walk Stormzy but her partner Taylor was able to. They both came for a meet and greet and we went for a little practice walk so I could explain where Stormzy was with his training and recall. Stormzy was a little unsure of Taylor when he first came into the house but Taylor and Kitty were very gentle and gave him space and built a relationship very quickly. By the end of the walk they were best friends and the next few days Stormzy was very excited to see Taylor again. I got sent pictures and videos and will definitely book Taylor or Kitty again.

Aleksandra took excellent care of our dog, taking him out on walks and always considering his welfare by filling up his water bowl. She is very easy to communicate with and I could tell my dog had a brilliant time when I came home to him! I would definitely recommend Aleksandra to anyone looking for dog care!
