About: My angel dog Hattie was my world and it would make me so happy to care for other dogs in my time off now. I have taken care of the cats and dogs of my neighbours when they are away and it’s worked great for all of us. I love all dogs big and small and can take them on long walks and lots of exercise if they are energetic. I can also keep up any training you are doing with them if wanted or play with toys with them. I have a car and can travel to where you are, and am happy to meet you and go on a joint walk first I work offshore at sea or around the coast on boats. Therefore, I work for a month then get a few weeks off. House and pet sitting works perfectly with my weeks off. Opportunities around York, North York Moors, Liverpool, Peak District and Northumberland are best for me but I am free to travel For house/ pet sitting: I will respect your house and your boundaries and pet care wishes. I love taking photos so can check in with you as much as you want. I don’t currently have a pet or children it will be just me

2. Courtney W.
“Courtney is kind , gentle, reliable , and the biggest dog lover. She has a good aura and knows the best walks around the area.”

3. Eleanor W.

“We were very grateful to Eleanor for looking after our puppy for a couple of hours last minute. She was very flexible with our changing arrangements and our dog loved going on a long walk and relaxing with her! We loved seeing the pictures of her day and would definitely use Eleanor again!”

4. Sophie Hannah W.
About: I have had pets since I was 5 years old, working my way up from gerbils to a rescue dog when I was 12. My parents and siblings are not particularly interested in pets, so I had to prove to them that I would do the majority of care. As an adult, I have had house rabbits for 10 years as they fit well into my work schedule and were happy to be left alone for longer periods than a dog would. Unfortunately, I have recently lost my last bunny (he was a very old chap at almost 10!) so I have a big, pet-shaped hole in my heart. It is my dream to own my own dog as an adult eventually, but due to living alone and working long shifts this is not an option for me at the moment which is why I'm hoping that I will be able to meet some lovely dogs on here to go on adventures with (and also have lots of snuggles with!). I currently work in healthcare doing three long shifts per week, which is why I'm unable to have my own dog. However, when I'm not at work I am home the majority of the time. I live in a 2 bedroom, 1st floor flat. Unfortunately I do not have a garden but I have a paved outside area available for toileting and plenty of small town/rural walks nearby for adventures. I am not precious about my furniture and, as I live alone, am more than happy for any pets to snuggle up on the sofa or in bed with me. I drive, so am able to go for adventures to the beach etc., if that's what your pet enjoys!

5. Sara E.
“Sara has been amazing help with Oreo over the last 18 months. Shes really flexible, which works perfect for me! Oreo loves constant company and being taken out regularly, so I can’t put him in kennels and I prefer the 1-1 care he gets. She’s great with updates and always sends regular photos and messages which makes my day whilst away. Thank you x”

6. Katherine R.
“Katherine is a great dog walker. She walked our two spaniels when I broke my leg and when we went away she sat for our rabbits and cats. She was very good and the dogs looked forward to her coming getting very excited. She also sends lots of updates and pictures when we were away. Id recommend her to anyone who asked for a walker or needed daycare.”

7. Laura S.
“Our dogs went to Laura, in a beautiful location between York & Malton. What I particularly liked was the fact it was away from the road and the farm is in land, so the dogs where away from danger in a safe environment. Laura’s ‘farmers daughter’ approach also encouraged me, as she was confident with strange ‘new’ pouches and made our dogs feel very settled !!! In fact, they don’t ever want to come home when we open the car boot to pick them up !!!!”

8. Alexandra O.
“Alexandra is a trustworthy, loving, caring person who loves animals particularly dogs. She has a lot of experience looking after friends dogs and her own family pet dog Max. She will take great care with any dogs in her charge and as an extremely active person your cherished pet would be certain of some lovely long walks. I would not hesitate to recommend Alexandra to you and I know you will not be disappointed with her pet sitting skills”

9. Lydia D.
“I can’t recommend Lydia enough, she is absolutely fantastic with my 2 cocker spaniels and they love her, I can rest at ease when their with her and know they will receive plenty of love and affection. Shes great at sending me little updates and the dogs get so excited whenever they see her which says enough for me!”

14. Kayleigh O.
About: I have always been around many animals growing up on a farm, My dream would be to have a sanctuary for all animals in need I work Monday to Friday from home along with my husband. We spend most of our weekends either on a long walk or on the beach with our 2 daughters and our pooch ralph I live in my own property with a large walled and fenced back garden with a high gate. They would be cared for as I care for my own and that is very spoilt. If they are allowed to sleep in bed or on the sofa then that is the treatment they will get. If they have rules then I will be happy to stick to these rules. They will be walked in a morning with my pooch and then again in the evening (depending on your pets health) and all diety needs will be met

Weekend walks are available 9am-5pm with weekend excursions available. Weekend over night bookings are only available when booked 7 days in advance with pets who have previously entered my home and have socialised with Daisy.
