Charlie has been fantastic helping to look after our dog Oakley! Always been great at communicating and has been flexible to our needs when we've asked for extra help. We would not have any hesitation in recommending Charlie to family or friends, a really excellent experience all round! Thanks Charlie! 😁😁

About: Recently returning to England, I've spent around the past 3-4 years volunteering/working at animal sanctuaries from around the world to here in England, farm animals to cat and dog . I'm a confident worker and my relaxed nature instantly has animals feeling comfortable around myself and others. Experienced dog handler and level 2 qualified in grooming. Learnt to handle multiple dogs simultaneously of different temperaments, from rehabilitating and socializing and co-living and working with my own pack, prioritising the well-being and welfare of the animals at all times. Having recently come back from travelling and working abroad I am seeking work but in the mean time I have a lot of free time so flexible and open with my schedule so get in touch while you can. Happy to care for and pet sit overnight if required additionally! I understand the importance of the well-being and safety for animals in all environments at all times. Living with a cat and having cared for many animals under one roof I prefer to be present all the time to ensure the safety of all animals in my care, not to mention love being around them! About: Hi, I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and I’ve come back from university for a long holiday break and would love to welcome your dog into my family’s home to stay. I’m also available for dog walking and day care. We can offer a fenced and safe garden, comfortable sofa and plenty of time for cuddles, company, walks and playtime to all the dogs that stay with us. Our home is very dog friendly and full of treats and toys. We live local to the river and multiple green spaces for a variety of walks. Our family dog, Willow, is 5 years old, she’s an independent miniature poodle. I am happy to arrange a meet and greet before any booking if you would like to see how your dog gets on. I can also easily accommodate separate walks for your dog if you prefer. I want to make your pet feel like this is their home from home so if they have any special requests to make them feel comfortable then please feel free to ask 😁 I’m back from university so I’m available most days, including weekends. I will also be taking care of my own dog when my parents are at work, so I have plenty of time to spend with your dog. I can easily accommodate a dog crate, if your dog is happiest sleeping there. I have a medium-sized fenced garden and live close to Bootham park and the river for nice walks. Your dog is welcome on the sofa and my priority is making them welcome and comfortable.

About: I have had pets since I was 10 years old. I have had cats, dogs and kittens and also rabbits. I have experience looking after people’s kittens/cats/senior cats and also puppies/adult dogs and senior dogs. I have medication administration experience as our old senior cat had medical conditions which required medication. I love looking after furbabies to ensure their individual needs are being met taking into consideration their different personalities. I currently work a 9-5 job Monday to Friday but I am free evenings and over the weekend. Over the weekend I am more flexible to look after pets in my own home, take them for walks and do drop in sessions. I can also offer dog walking/ drop in sessions in the evening after work hours. I have a fenced backyard for your furbaby and I am a 5 minute walk away from a field. I am available to meet up prior to a sit/walk or drop in so I am able to meet you and your furbaby so you can assess who is going to look after your family member.

About: Hello everyone! My name is Oksana. I'm originally from Ukraine, and I'm now building my own small business here in the UK. Like many animal lovers, I've always been surrounded by animals. I honestly can't remember a time in my life when there wasn't a little soul by my side. I've volunteered with animals in different countries, helped save lives, and found loving homes for dozens of stray animals. Through these experiences, I've learned that trust can't be forced — it's built with patience, kindness and love. I'm 36, and it has taken me years to finally find the field I truly want to work in. Now I know that caring for animals is not just something I love — it's where I feel I belong. Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, so I know how important it is to find someone genuine and trustworthy to care for your beloved family members when you can't be there. I hope I can be that person for you — someone who gives you peace of mind, knowing your pets are safe, cared for and in kind hands. Warm regards, Oksana Founder of Kindred Paws Pet care is my full-time job, so your pet will always be my priority. I have a very flexible schedule and can tailor my visits to suit your pet's routine. Whether your pet needs one visit or several visits a day, I'm happy to help. I'm available Monday to Sunday, including Bank Holidays At the moment, I offer dog walking and drop-in visits in owners' homes. I always follow each pet's usual routine to help them feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed in their familiar environment. During every visit, I make sure your pet has fresh water, food (if required), exercise, playtime, affection, and any other care you've requested. I also send regular updates and photos, so you can have complete peace of mind while you're away. I'm also completely comfortable with home security cameras, as I believe transparency helps build trust and gives pet owners confidence that both their beloved pets and their homes are in safe hands

About: I have experience looking after dogs of all sizes and ages, cats, guinea pigs & hamsters over the past 15 years and have loved them since I was young. I enjoy being with animals and the company that they bring and welcome any type of dog or age! I have a 2 year old Miniature Dachshund, she is calm, has been brought up around children and gets on well with all dogs she meets on her walks or through other family members/friends that have dogs. We have recently returned from 3 months travelling Europe with our dog, we fell in love and cared for many stray dogs and cats whilst we were away. Now we have returned, this means we have lots of time to dedicate to your animals. My maximum number of dogs at once would be 3. Please note I am not trained in giving your pet any medication. I have an enclosed yard for animals to play in and live very close to a field with a long walk too where dogs can be let off the lead and run around exploring new places and faces! Please let me know if there is anything I need to know about your dog eg if your dog doesn't like being around other dogs or has special requirements and then I can plan for it! I can't wait to meet your furry friends! We have just returned from 3 months travelling Europe with our dog, we fell in love and cared for many stray dogs and cats whilst we were away. Now we have returned, this means we have lots of time to dedicate to your animals. Our days are mostly taken up exploring new places and walks. I have a fenced yard which the dogs can run freely in. Dogs are welcome on furniture (to owners discretion) and I am happy to follow any rules the owners may have with their dogs.

About: I absolutely adore animals😊 We have two family whippets who are 11 and 7 and I could spend all day talking about how much I love them! I have lived at home throughout a lot of their life and spent a lot of time looking after them and walking them as they need a good run around. I am a massive animal lover who also works in the pet industry. I work Monday-Friday 9-5pm so I’m always free on a weekend. If I am not showing as available please still get in touch as my partner only works four days a week on shifts so he is often available too!😊 I have a fenced in back garden. As I have a cat I would only be able to board dogs that get on with cats.

I was staying in York for a week and Georgia and / or her partner Will took my dog for a walk each morning. It's a huge leap of faith to hand your dog over to someone you don't know, in a city that you don't live in but they both brilliant. Quick to respond to the booking, and flexible when both traffic and meetings meant we had to move the 2 of the booking times. They were prompt, friendly, kind, so knowledgeable and brilliant with my one year old cavapoo. I would wholeheartedly recommend them and will be calling on them again when I come back next year.
