About: I have had dogs my whole life and always been around dogs and loved them. I have just finished my year as the President of Dog Society at the University of York, bringing dogs to campus each week for students to meet and play with when they’re feeling homesick. I’ve got experience feeding, walking, washing and caring for a variety of sized dogs, from Miniature Dachshunds to Dalmatians and everything in between. I also have experience of giving dogs and cats pill based medication - even to pets that really hate them! My own dog loves to run off on walks so I’ve got plenty of experience with dogs who are escape artists so I’m well aware of all their tricks! I like to meet with you and your dog before hand to get to know you both and give you peace of mind when I look after them. I am at home in Sussex until end of August when I am then back in York full time I have just graduated from the University of York and now work Monday to Friday however I am flexible and am around on the weekends so have lots of time for looking after your dog. I am happy to look after your dog, just message me and we can sort a time that suits. I’m willing to become a regular helping hand for your dog. I am unable to care for pets in my own home at the moment due to renting my home however I am confident walking dogs and caring for them in your own home.

About: Hey, I’m Frances, a York/Selby local! I’ve grown up having many pets – dogs, birds and guinea pigs. ☀️ Being around animals has always felt natural to me. Throughout my life, I’ve lived in a home that has always had dogs, including many Boxers, so my love for dogs grew from there. We adopted Isla, a 10-year-old White Boxer, who still has lots of energy! She’s a strong, energetic girl who requires longer walks and a solid routine, so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs with plenty of energy and personality. I’m the main person who will be caring for your dog, and I’ll sometimes be accompanied by my partner, Charlie. Charlie has also grown up around dogs and has lots of experience with them. He’s naturally very good with animals and, like me, absolutely loves getting out for long walks. We both enjoy quiet, chilled weekends and spending time outdoors, so having a dog to join us on walks and relax with is something we genuinely love. 🐾 Clear communication is really important to me. I’ll always respect your instructions around training, routines and care, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and little check-ins so you know your dog is happy and settled. 🐶 I attend dance classes 3 times a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 4pm and 8pm, so I've got plenty of time to spare for your dogs during the day. I’m happy to care for dogs in their own home and will always make sure they feel safe, comfortable and well looked after. I love taking dogs on walks and exploring different routes, parks and green spaces so they can get plenty of exercise and enjoy lots of new smells. I’ll follow their usual routine, give them plenty of attention and make sure they’re happy and settled before I leave.

About: I have my own 8 year old patterdale and often have other family members dogs with us! I’ve been around dogs and cats my entire life and thoroughly enjoy the joy they can bring. I can adapt everything to what each individual animal needs to ensure they get the best experience each time I meet them. I have recently been made redundant after a long time working in the corporate world! I’m embracing life a little differently and only doing the things that i love now. I’m currently available most days and happy to be flexible to fit with yours and your pets needs. I realise each animal is incredibly unique and they all come with their own specific needs. I will work with you to establish what your pet needs and when, to deliver the best experience for your pet and one less thing for you to worry about knowing your pets are in good hands.

About: I am an experienced walker, dealing with my cheeky cocker spaniel for the past seven years and dogs throughout my life previous to this. I love spending time playing with the dogs and of course having a good old cuddle. I live near to several large parks and a couple of smaller ones for dogs of all sizes and I'm happy to travel to properties further afield by bike or public transport. Whether your dog is quiet and reserved or a little more characterful, I am confident and happy to spend time with them. I have a thorough understanding of animal safety and am happy to go through with you your preferences for your dog walks in terms of timings and routes, as well as your pet's dietary requirements. Importantly, I value spending time being with dogs and chatting and keep them stimulated. For those quick witted animals who like to get up to no good, I'm used to being on the ball and safely removing objects from dogs mouths. This also includes administering oral medication. I am also happy to walk multiple dogs at once providing that they do not need to be frequently separated as a result of unhelpful behaviour. About: I’ve looked after dogs countless times for friends and family, with experience across lots of different breeds and personalities. I regularly looked after my sister’s two cocker spaniels, Bella and Sully, who were energetic and needed plenty of attention, walks and playtime, sometimes for whole weekends or while my sister was at work. I’ve also looked after a very energetic border collie named Scarlett who seemed impossible to tire out, as well as my friends’ chihuahuas, Nigel and Norman who needed a completely different kind of care and attention. Whilst I’ve never owned a dog myself, I’m very comfortable caring for them and adapting to their individual routines and energy levels, and I would love to gain even more experience getting to know your dog and their routines☺️ I’m currently working full time Monday to Friday between 9-5, but luckily I have the flexibility to work remotely most of the week which is usually Monday, Tuesday and Friday. I also have freedom to leave work slightly earlier than usual on Wednesdays/Thursdays which means I’m available from 6pm on those days. My services will be surrounding the pet owners home vs my own due to a cat already living here (and we know how they can be!).
