About: Hey, I’m Frances, a York/Selby local! I’ve grown up having many pets – dogs, birds and guinea pigs. ☀️ Being around animals has always felt natural to me. Throughout my life, I’ve lived in a home that has always had dogs, including many Boxers, so my love for dogs grew from there. We adopted Isla, a 10-year-old White Boxer, who still has lots of energy! She’s a strong, energetic girl who requires longer walks and a solid routine, so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs with plenty of energy and personality. I’m the main person who will be caring for your dog, and I’ll sometimes be accompanied by my partner, Charlie. Charlie has also grown up around dogs and has lots of experience with them. He’s naturally very good with animals and, like me, absolutely loves getting out for long walks. We both enjoy quiet, chilled weekends and spending time outdoors, so having a dog to join us on walks and relax with is something we genuinely love. 🐾 Clear communication is really important to me. I’ll always respect your instructions around training, routines and care, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and little check-ins so you know your dog is happy and settled. 🐶 I attend dance classes 3 times a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 4pm and 8pm, so I've got plenty of time to spare for your dogs during the day. I’m happy to care for dogs in their own home and will always make sure they feel safe, comfortable and well looked after. I love taking dogs on walks and exploring different routes, parks and green spaces so they can get plenty of exercise and enjoy lots of new smells. I’ll follow their usual routine, give them plenty of attention and make sure they’re happy and settled before I leave.

About: I have had dogs my whole life and always been around dogs and loved them. I have just finished my year as the President of Dog Society at the University of York, bringing dogs to campus each week for students to meet and play with when they’re feeling homesick. I’ve got experience feeding, walking, washing and caring for a variety of sized dogs, from Miniature Dachshunds to Dalmatians and everything in between. I also have experience of giving dogs and cats pill based medication - even to pets that really hate them! My own dog loves to run off on walks so I’ve got plenty of experience with dogs who are escape artists so I’m well aware of all their tricks! I like to meet with you and your dog before hand to get to know you both and give you peace of mind when I look after them. I am at home in Sussex until end of August when I am then back in York full time I have just graduated from the University of York and now work Monday to Friday however I am flexible and am around on the weekends so have lots of time for looking after your dog. I am happy to look after your dog, just message me and we can sort a time that suits. I’m willing to become a regular helping hand for your dog. I am unable to care for pets in my own home at the moment due to renting my home however I am confident walking dogs and caring for them in your own home.

I have regularly looked after friends’ pets, including feeding, walking, playing, and providing companionship while they are away. About: I have had extensive experience looking after a range of lovely animals including large breed dogs such as labradors, Doberman’s and briards, pitbulls and boxers, smaller breed dogs I’ve looked after include whippets and Italian greyhounds. Several of the dogs I have looked after before have had complex dietary requirements or treatment plans that must be adhered to including medication timetables and veterinary visits. I also have a lot of experience looking after cats and kittens. My partner and I have 2 beautiful rescue cats, one of whom we raised from a kitten, and the older we worked with her to help rebuild her trust in humans 💛. I have over 10 years experience looking after horses and have also had experience looking after smaller pets including gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs and a bearded dragon. I’m currently between jobs, waiting for my new role to start so I have about a month where I’m completely free and looking to fill my time in the best way possible 💛 I’m very flexible to pop over whenever is needed, stay for the length of time you’d like and leave when you need me to ☺️ I’m a calm and quiet person who will happily come round when best suits your needs, make a cup of tea and sit and knit while keeping your pet company. About: I work part-time from home, which gives me flexibility for daytime visits and regular check-ins. I focus on local bookings in Fulford, Fishergate and Heslington so I can walk or cycle and offer reliable, nearby care. I understand how important it is to trust someone in your home and with your pet. I’m reliable, respectful and calm, and I’ll always follow your instructions carefully. I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind. I keep visits local so I can arrive on time and give each cat the attention they need.

About: I am an experienced walker, dealing with my cheeky cocker spaniel for the past seven years and dogs throughout my life previous to this. I love spending time playing with the dogs and of course having a good old cuddle. I live near to several large parks and a couple of smaller ones for dogs of all sizes and I'm happy to travel to properties further afield by bike or public transport. Whether your dog is quiet and reserved or a little more characterful, I am confident and happy to spend time with them. I have a thorough understanding of animal safety and am happy to go through with you your preferences for your dog walks in terms of timings and routes, as well as your pet's dietary requirements. Importantly, I value spending time being with dogs and chatting and keep them stimulated. For those quick witted animals who like to get up to no good, I'm used to being on the ball and safely removing objects from dogs mouths. This also includes administering oral medication. I am also happy to walk multiple dogs at once providing that they do not need to be frequently separated as a result of unhelpful behaviour. About: I’ve solely taken care of my step dads husky on the weekend for the past four years including walks, feeding, baths and overnight stays☺️ I have 2 chihuahuas currently at home, but as a uni student i am missing my furry babies and would be honoured to spend time with your loved animals! i have been around animals my entire life, i can handle both large and small breads. i can provide any routine that your dog needs and accommodate to all their needs and preferences! i would love to help out in any way :) im currently on a 0 hour contract and im lucky to get one shift a month, im a uni student but i have 4 days free a week (including the weekend) i can try my best to fit around your schedule just pop me a message! My garden is surrounded by high stone walls so there is absolutely no way out as the door is padlocked. About: I have been around animals all my life, having cats, rabbits and a horse as pets in my childhood. I have gained experience of pet sitting over the last three years with cats, dogs, fish and ferrets. I love meeting new animals. I currently work part time so I have lots of availability for pet sitting around this. I do early morning and late visits on work days and have several full days free each week.
