About: I’ve recently lost my beloved 13 year old dog and I would like to keep up with dog walking and dog cuddles. I have 2 granddogs that I look after regularly. I am retired so have lots of time available. I live in a quiet village setting with nice off road walks and open spaces and dog paths. I have a fenced large garden. I have plenty of indoor space with no other pets or children. I am able to crate dogs or not if required.

Therefore, petsitting/dog-walking allows me to care for animals and help out others. :-) Currently, I live just off Fulford Road right outside the city walls in a spacious three-bedroom terraced house, with an enclosed back garden. The rest of the day I am free, as well as, weekends.I live with my husband and our home is calm and pet friendly. We have a secure back garden. If your pet would enjoy the company of me and my pets, there is always room for them on our settee! I work one hour a day in the morning and afternoon, weekdays and term time only. I am free the rest of the time and at weekends. I have my own car for transporting pets. My home is calm and relaxed and dog friendly with a secure garden and lots of lovely walks on my doorstep. There is a secured gated field nearby. I can give your pets lots of fuss or leave them to rest and relax if they wish. I would ensure I followed the owner’s instructions and I would keep them updated. I would keep a good routine, with feeding, making sure their pets food is fresh in clean bowls with access to fresh water. I would exercise them to suit their needs. I am happy to bathe, brush, clean teeth if they allow but I do not clip nails. I would give medication according to owner’s instructions. I would ensure harnesses, leads are secure before leaving on a walk and car restraints are secured before transporting. “Our retriever Lily had a fantastic time with Sally for a long weekend. Sally cares enormously for the dogs she looks after which was clear from the messages and photos she sent us through Lily’s stay. It was so reassuring to receive these and see that Lily was out enjoying lots of walks and getting lots of attention at home too. Our flight was delayed coming home and Sally was really accommodating when we were a few hours late picking her up again. We highly recommend Sally and will definitely be in touch again when we next need some dog sitting.”

“Jack and Georgina were incredibly accommodating and changed their schedule to fit with our trip to London, so that Dany could stay with them. The pickup and drop-off service was so helpful and made everything seamless and it meant we could catch our train without any stress. They’re extremely reliable and were great at sending regular photos of Dany during her stay, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Most importantly, Jack and Georgina are just genuinely nice people who clearly care about the dogs they look after. Would definitely recommend and use their services again and again!”

“I left my kitten with Melanie for 3 days and she was great! I received many pictures and videos and could tell my kitten was very happy at her place! Communication was without any problems, Melanie was very accommodating with the time of drop off and pick up of my cat. “Amazing service from start to finish. Cariana provided regular updates throughout Benny’s stay and was more than happy to accommodate any special requests we had. With Benny only being a 13-week-old puppy, he’s definitely not the easiest guest, but Cariana was absolutely amazing with him and went above and beyond in every way. “Eva is absolutely incredible, she looked after her 10th-14th. Bare in mind I didn’t want too leave her but Eva kept reassuring me that she’s okay and she brought her a new collar as the one she had broken and she brought her some treats and taken her on loads of walks and playing with her favourite toys and then her a wash too and lots of cuddle I’ll be hundred percent booking her in with Eva again she was so understanding kind and caring I will deffo recommend her to anyone as my dog has anxiety and separation anxiety and she made our baby girl settled thanks EVA xxx”
