About: Hey, I’m Frances, a York/Selby local! I’ve grown up having many pets – dogs, birds and guinea pigs. ☀️ Being around animals has always felt natural to me. Throughout my life, I’ve lived in a home that has always had dogs, including many Boxers, so my love for dogs grew from there. We adopted Isla, a 10-year-old White Boxer, who still has lots of energy! She’s a strong, energetic girl who requires longer walks and a solid routine, so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs with plenty of energy and personality. I’m the main person who will be caring for your dog, and I’ll sometimes be accompanied by my partner, Charlie. Charlie has also grown up around dogs and has lots of experience with them. He’s naturally very good with animals and, like me, absolutely loves getting out for long walks. We both enjoy quiet, chilled weekends and spending time outdoors, so having a dog to join us on walks and relax with is something we genuinely love. 🐾 Clear communication is really important to me. I’ll always respect your instructions around training, routines and care, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and little check-ins so you know your dog is happy and settled. 🐶 I attend dance classes 3 times a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 4pm and 8pm, so I've got plenty of time to spare for your dogs during the day. I’m happy to care for dogs in their own home and will always make sure they feel safe, comfortable and well looked after. I love taking dogs on walks and exploring different routes, parks and green spaces so they can get plenty of exercise and enjoy lots of new smells. I’ll follow their usual routine, give them plenty of attention and make sure they’re happy and settled before I leave.

About: I have had extensive experience looking after a range of lovely animals including large breed dogs such as labradors, Doberman’s and briards, pitbulls and boxers, smaller breed dogs I’ve looked after include whippets and Italian greyhounds. Several of the dogs I have looked after before have had complex dietary requirements or treatment plans that must be adhered to including medication timetables and veterinary visits. I also have a lot of experience looking after cats and kittens. My partner and I have 2 beautiful rescue cats, one of whom we raised from a kitten, and the older we worked with her to help rebuild her trust in humans 💛. I have over 10 years experience looking after horses and have also had experience looking after smaller pets including gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs and a bearded dragon. I’m currently between jobs, waiting for my new role to start so I have about a month where I’m completely free and looking to fill my time in the best way possible 💛 I’m very flexible to pop over whenever is needed, stay for the length of time you’d like and leave when you need me to ☺️ I’m a calm and quiet person who will happily come round when best suits your needs, make a cup of tea and sit and knit while keeping your pet company. I’m comfortable taking them out on short or long walks if you’d like or playing with them at home if they enjoy that 😊. Let me know what would make their day and I’ll accommodate it as best I can. I have a full uk driving licence and I’m happy to pop in the car for a walk further afield if they somewhere they like to go. “I honestly cannot recommend Olivia highly enough This was the first time I had left my 12-year-old dog, so naturally I was a little nervous about him settling. From the moment Olivia met him via an initial meet and greet she completely put my mind at ease. She was absolutely wonderful with him. Olivia sent me regular updates, photos and little messages throughout his stay, which meant a lot to me and allowed me to relax knowing he was happy, safe and being so well looked after. It was obvious from everything she sent that he was having a lovely time. As if that wasn't enough, Olivia even left me a beautiful hand-drawn picture of my dog when I got home. Such a thoughtful and personal touch, and something I will genuinely treasure. I came home to a very happy, content and clearly well-loved dog, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Olivia went above and beyond and I would have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in leaving him with her again. Thank you so much, Olivia.”

About: i have raised a dog for six years, i trained him, walked him and cared for him. dogs love me and i am excellent at adjusting to their boundaries each week i am available to dog/cat sit, walk and house sit. my schedule is not very busy and I’m very flexible to whatever you need in a pet owners home i would ensure to always be tidy, being my own food/drink, stick to any boundaries they give me and stay engaged keeping an eye permanently on the pets.

About: I have a lifelong love and experience with animals. I have three dogs and two cats, so I’m very comfortable caring for multiple pets and understanding their individual personalities, routines and needs. I have had dogs all my life, giving me extensive experience with feeding, walking, playtime, grooming, companionship and general day-to-day care. I’m confident around dogs of different personalities and understand the importance of keeping them happy, safe and well exercised. I have also had cats for the past five years, so I’m experienced with their feeding routines, litter trays, grooming, playtime and providing them with a calm and comfortable environment. I am currently 10 weeks pregnant and self-employed so I have lots of time on my hands now and in the near future, spending time with animals is always top priority in my schedule :) I have all the correct safety precautions for my pets already so yours will be perfectly safe with me I already have three dogs and two cats!

About: I am an animal lover and hold my pet first aid and CPR certificate. I have over 5 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors. I am comfortable with administering oral medications, and providing extra attention for pets with additional needs. I also have experience in caring for cats of a range of ages from energetic kittens to relaxed older cats. I also have personal reptiles too, owning two tortoises and a leopard gecko. My experience, reliability, and love for animals help me create a safe and happy environment for your animals. I am a mature student at the University of York living in central York. With most of my work being done online I am flexible to make lots of time for walks and playtime! I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort in every visit. I create a secure environment by keeping pets supervised, following your pets usual routines, and ensuring they have fresh water, meals, and plenty of love and attention. I respect each pet’s individual needs and personality, making sure they feel calm, happy, and cared for at all times.

“We can't recommend James and Helen highly enough and we are so happy we found them! They have taken our 2 dogs out on numerous occasions for long and different walks and also looked after them in our home for 3 nights while we went away. Helen and James offer a variety of services like that above and social meet ups for the dogs and owners once a month which we are attending this Sunday! They kept us regularly updated with pictures and letting us know what they were up to, whilst also taking really good care of our home. This meant we could really enjoy our trip and relax in the knowledge they were in the best hands- we honestly didnt worry once. The love they have shown to our dogs shows just how passionate they are about their business. Helen and James are very professional and knowledgeable with regards to dog behaviour- it was lovely to see our dogs act in a different way with high quality pictures to show! Both our dogs (a Staffy cross and Belgian shepherd) have fallen in love with James and Helen 'uncle James and auntie Helen' and we came back to very happy and shattered pooches! We can't thank them enough and will continue to use them whenever we need and when the dogs are missing them! :) xx”

About: I have been around animals all my life, having cats, rabbits and a horse as pets in my childhood. I have gained experience of pet sitting over the last three years with cats, dogs, fish and ferrets. I love meeting new animals. I currently work part time so I have lots of availability for pet sitting around this. I do early morning and late visits on work days and have several full days free each week. I will care for you home and your pet whilst you are away. I am happy to look after plants as well. I will follow the instructions provided by yourself.

I would make sure your fur babies received the absolute best care :) I’m currently working part time and studying at uni until the end of may but I have plenty of spare time to take care of your animals :) My schedule changes weekly so if you are interested please feel free to message me, I will also update my schedule on here as soon as I know. I can easily follow instructions for each fur baby’s needs, please feel free to explain everything that you normally do to take care of your animal and I will make sure to do the same.
