About: Hey, I’m Frances, a York/Selby local! I’ve grown up having many pets – dogs, birds and guinea pigs. ☀️ Being around animals has always felt natural to me. Throughout my life, I’ve lived in a home that has always had dogs, including many Boxers, so my love for dogs grew from there. We adopted Isla, a 10-year-old White Boxer, who still has lots of energy! She’s a strong, energetic girl who requires longer walks and a solid routine, so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs with plenty of energy and personality. I’m the main person who will be caring for your dog, and I’ll sometimes be accompanied by my partner, Charlie. Charlie has also grown up around dogs and has lots of experience with them. He’s naturally very good with animals and, like me, absolutely loves getting out for long walks. We both enjoy quiet, chilled weekends and spending time outdoors, so having a dog to join us on walks and relax with is something we genuinely love. 🐾 Clear communication is really important to me. I’ll always respect your instructions around training, routines and care, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and little check-ins so you know your dog is happy and settled. 🐶 I attend dance classes 3 times a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 4pm and 8pm, so I've got plenty of time to spare for your dogs during the day. I’m happy to care for dogs in their own home and will always make sure they feel safe, comfortable and well looked after. I love taking dogs on walks and exploring different routes, parks and green spaces so they can get plenty of exercise and enjoy lots of new smells. I’ll follow their usual routine, give them plenty of attention and make sure they’re happy and settled before I leave.

About: I have a lifelong love and experience with animals. I have three dogs and two cats, so I’m very comfortable caring for multiple pets and understanding their individual personalities, routines and needs. I have had dogs all my life, giving me extensive experience with feeding, walking, playtime, grooming, companionship and general day-to-day care. I’m confident around dogs of different personalities and understand the importance of keeping them happy, safe and well exercised. I have also had cats for the past five years, so I’m experienced with their feeding routines, litter trays, grooming, playtime and providing them with a calm and comfortable environment. About: I adore animals and grew up with dogs, mainly terriers and labs so caring for them is second nature to me. I’ve worked in many places that are dog friendly also. I absolutely adore pets and and can’t wait to know yours. I’ve got over 10 years experience living with and minding pets, mainly dogs and cats, from puppies to rescues. I’m an active outdoorsy person so can provide that adventure if needed but also know a calm and comforting environment with a cuddle is sometimes what’s needed. I live in a new build flat, accessed via stairs in York. It is spacious and airy and near many green spaces with lovely walks and not far from the river and gardens. About: I grew up looking after fantail doves, and since becoming a business owner and digital nomad in 2024, I've loved petsitting for many animals across the world. From dogs to cats to goats to goldfish, I've loved learning who they are, supporting them in their homes and having a fun & rewarding time with them in the process! I have experience with animals of all ages including week old puppies, senior dogs and cats. I work remotely in my own business, which allows me to live flexibly and support your pets with the routine and life they're used to whilst you're away. I enjoy settling into homes, caring for pets as part of my daily rhythm, and experiencing new people and places. * I'm DBS checked and insured I've loved petsitting for many animals in their homes across the world. I've loved learning who they are, supporting them in their homes and having a fun & rewarding time with them in the process! “We can't recommend James and Helen highly enough and we are so happy we found them! They have taken our 2 dogs out on numerous occasions for long and different walks and also looked after them in our home for 3 nights while we went away. Helen and James offer a variety of services like that above and social meet ups for the dogs and owners once a month which we are attending this Sunday! They kept us regularly updated with pictures and letting us know what they were up to, whilst also taking really good care of our home. This meant we could really enjoy our trip and relax in the knowledge they were in the best hands- we honestly didnt worry once. The love they have shown to our dogs shows just how passionate they are about their business. Helen and James are very professional and knowledgeable with regards to dog behaviour- it was lovely to see our dogs act in a different way with high quality pictures to show! Both our dogs (a Staffy cross and Belgian shepherd) have fallen in love with James and Helen 'uncle James and auntie Helen' and we came back to very happy and shattered pooches! We can't thank them enough and will continue to use them whenever we need and when the dogs are missing them! :) xx”

About: Ever since a young age, i have taken care of all animals due to family and friends pets. My Grandmother, who had 7 dogs and 3 cats, taught me how to care for animals both stray and tamed from the age of a puppy to an elderly dog. This taught me many skills on how to care for animals, fulfilling not only their physical needs but emotional too. I am currently on the summer break with no jobs and no upcoming holidays trying to save for university and will therefore be free daily for anyone who needs any pet sitters or dog walkers. I currently only have a cat at the moment as my dog lives with my dad in Scotland, however, i can ensure your pet, whether thats a dog, cat or other, will be kept safe and entertained. As long as boundaries regarding the animal are understood beforehand they will be kept safe and secure.

About: Hi! I am Sophie, I am a lover of all animals and have owned my own cat for 6 years now. I also have experience with dogs through walking family and neighbours dogs growing up. I would make sure your fur babies received the absolute best care :) I’m currently working part time and studying at uni until the end of may but I have plenty of spare time to take care of your animals :) My schedule changes weekly so if you are interested please feel free to message me, I will also update my schedule on here as soon as I know. I can easily follow instructions for each fur baby’s needs, please feel free to explain everything that you normally do to take care of your animal and I will make sure to do the same.

About: I have been around animals all my life, having cats, rabbits and a horse as pets in my childhood. I have gained experience of pet sitting over the last three years with cats, dogs, fish and ferrets. I love meeting new animals. I currently work part time so I have lots of availability for pet sitting around this. I do early morning and late visits on work days and have several full days free each week. I will care for you home and your pet whilst you are away. I am happy to look after plants as well. I will follow the instructions provided by yourself.
