“Thalia was amazing with our whippets, one of whom is extremely nervous. She had a very natural way with dogs and knew exactly how to interact with him - it’s easy to see she has a background in dog training and behaviour. She arrived really promptly and sent lots of photos to reassure us. Could not rate her highly enough!”

About: My mum has been passionate about rescue and re-homing animals since before I was born having no less than 7 dogs at anytime! When I was 18 i decided to study companion animal management as at the time we were housing and caring for 17 dogs. I have had experience caring for breeds ranging from chihuahuas to Great Danes in all various stages of life. During my now many years of hands on experience I feel that I would excel at looking after your much loved pets. Pets with mobility issues is not an issue at all I have had years of experience helping rehabilitate rescues with mobility issues. I work on average about 6 hours a day 5 days a week! I often get up to feed (including administering medication if required) and walk the pets leaving plenty of cuddle time. After letting the pets out to toilet again, I would then work for the proceeding 6 hours. I would then return to feed an walk the pet again if required. More cuddles whilst I either watch tv or listen to music before bed I work on average about 6 hours a day 5 days a week! Depending on how clients needs (weather I’m dog-sitting and/or house-sitting) I would get up to feed (including administering medication if required) and walk the pets leaving plenty of cuddle time. After letting the pets out to toilet again, I would then work for the proceeding 6 hours. I would then return to feed an walk the pet again if required. “This was the first time we had left our dog with anyone other than family but Wendy looked after our dog brilliantly for a long weekend. They had some lovely walks, played and really bonded. Wendy sent regular updates and photos which was very reassuring. We would highly recommend Wendy to anyone needing someone to look after their dog.”

“Tizzi is a great dog person, she adores dogs and shows them plenty of affection. She is strict with rules when looking after her family dogs to stop any bad habits being picked up. I couldn’t think of anyone else more suitable to dog sit your companion!”

About: I have always been around many animals growing up on a farm, My dream would be to have a sanctuary for all animals in need I work Monday to Friday from home along with my husband. We spend most of our weekends either on a long walk or on the beach with our 2 daughters and our pooch ralph I live in my own property with a large walled and fenced back garden with a high gate. They would be cared for as I care for my own and that is very spoilt. If they are allowed to sleep in bed or on the sofa then that is the treatment they will get. If they have rules then I will be happy to stick to these rules. They will be walked in a morning with my pooch and then again in the evening (depending on your pets health) and all diety needs will be met

“Maggie is a very elderly dog and we a bit nervous about leaving her but we needn't have worried. Mike was fantastic and we wouldn't hesitate to book him again.”

About: I have mainly taken care of family & friends dogs on short term basis. I’ve looked after dog ages ranging from 4 months to 7 years. I work from home and manage my own calendar so can create space to go on walks. I often have spare to tend to the pets needs throughout the day. Also I like to go on long walks in the countryside over the week so fitting dog walks with that works perfectly. I have a pet friendly home with enough space for dogs to sleep/laze. I have an open large shared garden space which is unfenced so dogs will be kept on their lead.

About: I absolutely adore all animals, regardless of size, age or breed! I used to have a dog but he unfortunately passed away 6 months ago. He wasn’t the most cooperative at times, but I found that this was something I could adapt to and I found ways of changing his routine to make things easier for him, especially during the last few months of his life. I am capable of caring for older dogs, as well as puppies and untrained animals. I work part-time and I am a university student, although my schedule is pretty open despite this! I am able to complete university lectures online, so I have more time during the week for your pets! I have a small garden which is fenced off with a brick wall- while it allows for your animals to get fresh air in a private space, it isn’t big enough to run around in. However, there is an ideal walking/play spot just round the back of my house which is perfect for dogs! Dogs are allowed on the furniture and are allowed to sleep on the bed if that is where they are most comfortable. I’ll pretty much go with whatever the dog is comfortable with!

About: I have many years experience with my own cats and dogs from puppies and kittens to elderly. I would be happy walking as much or as little as you wanted and happy to administer any medication needed. I’ve also looked after friends and families pets over the years so have experience with lots of different characters. I’d be happy to discuss any worries you may have. I work various days so will be happy to discuss anything you need, I’m happy to be available early morning or evenings and weekends, just message to see if I can help. I would discuss with yourself to find whatever is best for your pet, whether that be long or short walks or just a play in the garden.
