1. Octavia-Louise J.

“Octavia looked after our dog in our home for one night. He’s a really nervous dog with epilepsy and she looked after him wonderfully. He was really calm when we got back home and the house was exactly how we left it. She also came and visited us before our booking to help with Terry’s nerves and we were very grateful! Would not hesitate to recommend - thank you!”

2. Helena W.

“It was a long shift for Helena to do, especially with a puppy she's only just met, but she did incredibly! Took Fred to a cafe and the pub, introduced him to her friends and just looked after Fred like he was her own. Truly a lovely experience”

8. Zoe S.
About: I’ve grown up taking care of our family dogs which included Grate Danes, Labradors and a variety of different breeds from dogs we had rescued and fosters. I have a lot of experience around them and understand each one has different needs and boundaries. I’m currently working one day a week bartending and doing a law degree at university meaning I have free time to spend time and take care of the pups. I have a great love for dogs and enjoy spending time with them and catering to their needs. Each dog has different boundaries and needs which need to be catered too and i understand this. I’m willing to follow the instructions given to ensure the care for your dog is appropriate and to the standards you would expect.

9. Sophie H.

“Sophie looked after my dog for 3 days. I found Sophie very professional with great communication and a clear love of animals. She was proactive asking questions where needed and I came home to a happy dog.”

10. Laura H.

“Laura is brilliant. Made contact beforehand to check all the details, arrived on time and bonded with our dogs straight away. She was unfazed by our monster pup. She sent photos. Also walked and fed the dogs. They are now tired and happy. I will book Laura again. Top marks from us.”

11. Eleanor S.

“This is the second time Eleanor has dog-sat our greyhound, Noodle. Eleanor communicates promptly, is very punctual and always gives us updates throughout her stay. Whilst not a particularly affection dog, Noodle is very calm and relaxed when Eleanor looks after him.”

12. Charlotte H.

“Charlotte was amazing with our furry friends and left the house even cleaner than when we passed over the keys. She followed all of our instructions and gave us frequent feedback on how our babies were doing. We felt absolutely confident while away. We will not hesitate to ask Charlotte again!”

13. Charlie P.

“I recently had the pleasure of having Charlie as a dog sitter for my beloved sausage dog, Sunny, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. One of the highlights of Charlie's service was her consistent communication. Throughout the night, she sent me numerous adorable photos and videos of Sunny, which kept me reassured and made me feel connected to my furry friend. Charlie clearly has a genuine love for animals, and it truly showed in her interactions with Sunny. What impressed me the most about Charlie was her ability to connect with Sunny on a personal level. Sunny can be very shy around new people, but she quickly warmed up to Charlie. I highly recommend Charlie as a dog sitter. She not only provided excellent care for Sunny but also went the extra mile to ensure that I felt connected and at ease throughout the experience. If you're looking for a reliable, responsible, and loving dog sitter, Charlie is the one to choose. I will definitely be reaching out to her for future pet-sitting needs.”

14. Sarah W.

“Sarah was really friendly and Dougal loved hanging out with her! Thanks 🙏”

15. Stephanie A.

“Stephanie was an amazing dog sitter in our home. We were kept updated with regular pupdates and Stef left our home exactly how she found it. Can’t recommend enough.”

16. Helen B.
“I’ve know Helen for 15+ years and have always known her as an animal lover. She has always been the first port of call for both me and my parents when looking for a cat sitter, and knowing how much the shy cat and the overly confident cat both loved Helen made things a lot easier. Helens calm disposition and loving nature make her ideal for looking after all animals, and knowing how honest and trustworthy she is makes her easy to recommend. When looking after my 2 cats, It was common for Helen to let herself in to my place and look after the cats for multiple days (even weeks), with regular updates and pictures being the norm.”

17. Emma B.

“Emma looked after Misty for us whilst we had a family celebration day. Emma soon had Misty settled and comfy and they had a good day together which included two walks. Emma sent us photos and a video of their outings and Misty looked happy with their adventures. Misty has taken to Emma and we will certainly be using her services again. Thank you Emma for taking such good care of Misty for us.”

18. Becky S.

“Becky is amazing! We almost don’t want to leave a review as we want to keep her for ourselves. The most relaxed, warm and genuinely dog-loving sitter. She took the best care ever of our Bonnie when we had to leave her for the first time ever, followed all our instructions so perfectly, and even took her for a bonus dog walk to make it a easier for us when we got home from the trip. She also left the house tidier than when we left, and sent us lovely photos and updates to put our minds at rest. Bonnie was so happy and relaxed when we got home - I think she’s missing Becky now! We will definitely be booking her again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.”

19. Molly B.

“Molly was very punctual and did exactly what we asked her to do! the dogs were very happy upon my return and would definitely recommend molly”

20. Imogen H.
About: I'm an animal lover through and through, and understand the differing needs of each pet. No requests are "too specific" - if he needs his dinner served slightly above room temperature at 5:02pm whilst the national anthem plays, I get it! ***available over February half term*** I am a University of York graduate who is now living in York. I've been here for 5 years now - I love the city and have gotten very familiar with the various parks and walks locally. I am currently a self-employed tutor (GCSEs and A levels) which is majority working from home, with some in-person sessions in York. This means my time is very flexible - whether you need dog walks throughout the day, overnight pet sitting, or regular check-ins - I can accommodate them. I can send as many updates as you'd like - whether that's a daily pic or hour by hour breakdown of activities. I know it can be nerve wracking leaving your pet at home so whatever I can do to make it easier, I'd be happy to! Due to being a tutor, I am used to being invited into people's homes and am proud to think of myself as a very trustworthy and respectful person. I have high attention to detail and can follow whatever instructions I'm given. I'm also happy to do other house sitting tasks such as watering plants, collecting mail, or taking out the bins.
