About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs for most of my life. Growing up, my family had a female Pomeranian who was with us for over 10 years, followed by a female Husky. Caring for them gave me experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes and personalities. Now I live with my partner and our spayed female Cockapoo, Loopy. Looking after her has taught me the importance of understanding each dog’s individual needs, routine and personality. I’ve also looked after friends’ dogs, including a large Old English Sheepdog, whom I bathed and cared for, as well as several Cockapoos. One of my friend’s Cockapoos even stayed overnight in our home for a week, so I’m experienced in helping dogs settle into a new environment and feel comfortable. I genuinely love spending time with dogs. I enjoy taking them for walks, visiting parks and going on countryside walks together. I always pay close attention to their behaviour, comfort and wellbeing, and I’ll care for your dog with the same love and attention that I give my own. As a freelancer, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give dogs plenty of time, attention and companionship throughout the day. Caring for dogs is already a big part of my daily life, as I share my home with my partner and our lovely Cockapoo, Loopy. As a Cockapoo owner myself, I understand the energy, affection and attention this breed needs, and I’m always happy to adapt to each dog’s own routine and personality. I have a friendly, spayed female Cockapoo who enjoys the company of other dogs. I introduce dogs gradually and never leave them together unsupervised until I’m confident they’re comfortable with each other. I’ll carefully follow your dog’s usual routine, including feeding, walks, medication (if needed) and any special instructions. Every dog is different, so I take the time to understand their personality and make sure they feel relaxed and secure. About: I’ve grown up surrounded by all kinds of animals, from cats and dogs to chickens, horses, and even a rescue fawn! Animals have always been a big part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. Over the past few years, I’ve had the opportunity to travel the world, including spending time in New Zealand where I was fortunate enough to house-sit and care for some wonderful dogs. I’ve also built up experience through TrustedHousesitters, looking after pets in their own homes and making sure they feel safe, happy and well cared for while their owners are away. He was with Vanessa for nearly a week and could not have been happier. It's clear that the family adore the dogs the look after. So comfortable in fact that we were a little worried our dog would want to stay with her when we came back, as our dog was definitely being pampered! Shortly after making the booking, Jennifer reached out and we planned a short pre-meet before so that Gregory and her lovely dog Coco could meet, and we could share some information about them both. It was clear immediately that Jennifer and her family very much cared about making sure Gregory was going to have a comfortable stay with them, and he definitely did. During the boarding, Jennifer kept us updated with pictures of Gregory doing all his favourite things and he looked to be having an absolute splendid time, seemingly as comfortable as he would be in his own home! About: I have been around dogs for most of my life and love getting out for walks and enjoy the companionship that we can give each other. I currently have my own dog, Poppy, who is nearly 12. She still loves her walks and snuggling up next to me. I have experience of looking after family and friend’s dogs in my home and in their own home. I currently work full-time Monday to Friday term time as a teaching assistant. I am available on weekends and during school holidays so have plenty of time to look after you pooch. I am more than happy to take your dog for a walk, this is something I could even fit in after work. I would like to look after your dog in my home, or in their own home, whatever is best for the dog and you. I live in a semi- detached house with a fenced garden at the back in a beautiful village. There are plenty of lovely walks nearby in local woods/ fields. I also love exploring so am more than happy to walk your dog in its own familiar area if it has a favourite place to go. I have experience of looking after family and friend’s dogs in my own home and also in their own home. I thoroughly enjoyed having the dogs in their own environment, exploring their area on walks.

We travelled to York for the weekend and found Cariana through Rover to look after our Daisy. 🐶❤️ As we don’t live in York and had never met her before, we were naturally a little nervous about leaving Daisy with someone new. But honestly, we didn’t need to worry at all! Cariana made us feel comfortable straight away and was really good at keeping us updated, which gave us so much peace of mind. Her partner was also absolutely lovely with Daisy, and we could see that Daisy was happy and comfortable with them. We’re so pleased we found Cariana and very happy with the whole experience. I booked Georgia and Will last minute whilst away on holiday with my 3 dogs. Georgia was really quick to reply to messages, and was friendly and helpful, I also received great communication and photos during the day of the stay. Will took the dogs in and they took to him immediately. I felt very relaxed leaving the dogs in their care, and all 3 were fed and happy when I collected them. Sophie looked after Toby for our wedding day, she came to the venue to pick him up after the ceremony and even dropped him off the next day. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
