I will love your dog like my own !
I have been lucky enough to have several dogs of my own and I’ve taken care of others for friends I’ve rescued two dogs from adoption agencies whilst living abroad. Belle a Dalmatian in Australia and Piper a Spaniel mix in NYC Wherever I have moved they have come with me as I strongly believe dogs are part of the family . Piper our last dog flew with us from NYC but she sadly recently passed and my husband and I miss having a dog in our lives. We will give your dog a loving family home and provide you with updates and photos ! We respect you as the dog’s owner and will follow directions you give us so that your dog receives consistent guidance When I lived in the USA I also used Rover.com as a client and I can highly recommend the processes they apply to checking out sitters etc . I was always pleased with the service so I hope to meet you soon !!

I am so happy leaving Winston with Lesley and her husband Phil. They always look after him so well, and he is always happy to see them. They always keep me up to date with how he is with photos and messages. I couldn't wish for anyone better to look after him.
Thank you Lesley and Phil for looking after Milo for us for a long weekend away. I was very anxious having only left him with family, but there was no need to worry. Our flight home was delayed several hours and Lesley was really accommodating. Thank you so much!

Lesley and her husband looked after Dexy so well on his overnight stay. They are a very caring couple who love the company of dogs. I would not hesitate to use them again. Thank you to them both.
Lesley was wonderful, thankyou so much for looking after Buster. We needed day care to attend a funeral in York at last minute. Buster was settled as soon as he saw Lesley when I dropped him off and a very happy chappy when I picked him up. He would clearly have stayed with her without hesitation. Great to get a fully detaiked report on his day too. Wouldn't hesitate to book Lesley again.
We were slightly apprehensive leaving our rescue Cockapoo as he is very needy and clingy. However, we needn't have worried, as he made friends with Lesley and almost seemed reluctant to come home with us! We would recommend Lesley to other dog owners.

I currently work three days a week as a teacher and my husband is full time working from home so your dog will get plenty of walks , love and company

I have a terraced house walled garden and my road is located with River Ouse at bottom so very easy to walk out I can crate your dog or put them in our secure kitchen overnight with a comfy bed I also live very near a large vet practice in Fulford Road

I live very close to the River path in Fishergate York I can assess it from the bottom of my street so your dog will get some lovely walks plus there is an off leash area for playing fetch
