As a lifelong animal lover I started caring for dogs at age 15 when a new neighbour moved in with a beautiful black staffy. Since then I've taken any opportunity I can to walk and care for dogs. Through travel I've had the opportunity to look after dogs in various places and enjoy the companionship and home like feel that furry friends offer. From walks in nature, play sessions, and caring for their needs, every interaction I have with dogs is filled with care and attention. I've cared for dogs through their highs and lows, nurturing them back to health after surgeries and offering love and joy. I understand the reliability and trust needed when finding someone to care for your dog. I am DBS checked (certificate available to see upon request) and I offer a flexible approach and an attentive nature.

Joanne was amazing! We were a bit nervous at first about using a pet sitter, but Joanne arranged a meeting in a nice neutral space and I could tell from her interactions with my dog that she cared about dogs and we left her with our beloved little girl. While away, Joanne sent lots of videos and from the videos we could tell that our dog was really being looked after well - the dog was really relaxed in the videos, was being played with, and looked very very comfortable with Joanne. So comfortable in fact that we were a little worried our dog would want to stay with her when we came back, as our dog was definitely being pampered! We will definitely use Joanne again when we next go on holiday, so please don't pick her for the same week as we want! (just kidding).
Our first time using Rover as our usual kennels mixed up our booking and left us needing to find somewhere at short notice. After drawing a blank at all nearby kennels, I gave Rover a try. Was simple to use and we were quickly matched with Jo. She arranged a pre-meet to get to know our dog and see if we were comfortable. She asked loads of great questions to make sure she knew all about our dog's needs and habits. We went ahead with the booking and Jo was superb - kept us up to date with photos, videos and details of what they'd been up to. Really helped set our mind at rest! Would highly recommend!!!
Joanne was amazing . Our Cavapoo Freddie and our sons Cockapoo went to Joanne for day care while we had a day out . We dropped them off and Joanne brought them home , they were both very well looked after . We’ll definitely use Joanne again.

Joanne is a caring and conscientious person. She listened to the information we gave about our dog Teddy’s needs and looked after him with love. Nothing was too much in terms of what teddy needed. With plenty of walks and being allowed out into the garden regularly. Teddy had a lovely time with Joanne and we will definitely be using her again in the future. Teddy can’t wait.

I work from home and plan my own work schedule so I can be very flexible and always present when walking or caring for your pet.

I have a fenced garden that's completely secure. I also have plenty of space and home comforts inside for your pet to play, lounge, sleep, or eat.
A typical day
We'll play games, go for long or short walks (depending on the dogs needs). Visit the large fields nearby, and rest when they've had enough.
