I love dogs and cats. From childhood, both myself and my husband have always had them as pets and our home would not be complete without one! We enjoy their companionship and caring for them, which we have many years of experience and we are trustworthy and reliable. We have a calm and relaxed home with a secure garden and have lots of lovely walks from our doorstep. Our pets are well socialised and accepting and we are all very much looking forward to welcoming your beloved pet into our home!

Jane is the best! I was super worried about leaving our dog at home for the first time while we went away for a week, but Jane and her little troop of helpers (2 Chihuahuas and Gizmo, that chill cat) made Olive feel completely at home. Wouldn't hesitate for a second to leave Olive with Jane again. Total life saver!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Jane looked after my dog, Kobe, for two full days and one night. I couldn’t be happier with the care she gave him. From the moment we met, she was friendly, professional, and made me feel completely at ease. Kobe was happy, relaxed, and clearly well looked after when I picked him up. He had an enjoyable time with her very well behaved two dogs and cat, gizmo. It was obvious that Jane genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after, and I really appreciated the updates and the attention she gave him. Has owned dogs and cats for over 30 years, including multiple dogs and cats in the same household. Ensures dogs are always happy, get lots of walks and are well looked after. Has looked after my own dog each week and when I go away and my dog is always very happy and well looked after.
Jane is a warm, caring and honest person. Jane is my mum and I was lucky to grow up with a mum who cared for cats and dogs which such nurture and love. My mum has experience with many breeds of dogs, from big to small (chihuahuas to labs). She has looked after my old tyme bulldog, who is a handful so I have to be very mindful of who I can trust with him, and my dog was happy and content after 2 days with my mum. My mum loves going on walks with dogs, she goes the extra mile with getting to know their personalities and quirks and adapts to them. I believe she will make an excellent dog walker/sitter and is the kind of person I hope for when searching for someone to have my dog.
I can confidently recommend Jane as an attentive pet sitter and lovely dog walker. I have known Jane for the past 3years and have experienced her wealth of knowledge and skill with pets. Jane has looked after my own large and playful dog while I was unable to and she works incredibly well with him. Jane has had a lifetime of experience after owning many dogs&cats. She currently owns 3dogs and a cat that all have different personalities and behaviours which she adjusts to with ease. Not only does Jane care, she also has an intuitiveness to what the dogs/cats need. I absolutely and whole heartedly recommend Jane.

Schedule
I am at home during the day and at weekends and always make sure I take care of my own pets needs and so I would do exactly the same with all dogs that are staying with us.

Safety, trust & environment
I would ensure I followed the owner’s instructions and I would keep them updated. I would keep a good routine, with feeding, making sure their pets food is fresh in clean bowls with access to fresh water. I would exercise them to suit their needs. I am happy to bathe, brush, clean teeth if they allow but I do not clip nails. I would give medication according to owner’s instructions. I would ensure harnesses, leads are secure before leaving on a walk and car restraints are secured before transporting. Pets are allowed on our chairs and sofas and beds and I would like them to feel safe, relaxed and comfortable. I can crate if required. I would give positive praise and attention, helping your pet to feel at home and relaxed as possible while staying with us.

A typical day
I would enjoy taking your dog on walks in our area. We have lots of green spaces nearby and secured, gated field nearby. I can throw a ball/frisbee, or play a game of tug with a toy.

I am happy to meet you to introduce our pets on neutral grounds beforehand or you can visit my home or I can visit your home if that’s more suitable.
