“Jaz looked after my 2 year old Lab x Collie recently and I was impressed. Bailey can be a bit of a handful and is full of energy, so I was a bit worried about leaving her with someone else. Jaz was brilliant with her though and I had nothing to worry about! They went on a nice long lead walk with breaks to be off lead where it was safe, which was ideal for Bailey and her mad zoomies! When I picked her up, I could tell that Bailey listened to Jaz and her commands, which reassured me. Jaz sent me pupdates and pics/videos throughout the day, which was a nice addition. It was nice to see Bailey playing with Mabel so well too 🥰 I would be happy for Jaz to mind Bailey again and I’m sure she’d have a great time with her and Mabel.”

12. Lauren S.
“In all the time I have known Lauren she has devoted so much effort and love into her pets. Lauren is also keenly aware of the types of things dogs like and dislike and is always responsive to this e.g. where to walk.”

13. Caitlin T.
“Caitlin is an amazing and thoughtful sitter who takes great responsibility and care in her work with animals. Her work on farms and with horses growing up has made her well equipt to care for dogs of all sizes and needs. We've left our dog (a quite big and nervous mixed breed) with her on many occasions for extended stays and her attentiveness to his needs and patience with his temperment meant that he was always arriving with an excited pep in his step, and leaving with a satisfied smile on his face.”

14. Helen B.

“Helen completed all her visits as requested. She sent feedback and photos to show she had fed and played with Leo and Frankie. Very happy.”

15. Emma F.

“Emma took amazing care of both of our boys! We've got one lad who's a bit skittish and the other who can be a bit rude, but they both warmed up to her straight away and wanted to play and have pets! She kept us up to date on everything and took amazing care of them while we were aware. We would definitely book again!! Thank you so much!!”

About: Having grown up with dogs, especially Labradors, they've always been a big part of my life. From a young age, I developed a deep bond with them, and their playful, loving nature has always brought me joy. Since moving away from Wales to study at university, I’ve really felt the absence of having a dog around. It’s something I miss greatly, as they’ve always been a constant source of comfort and companionship. Over the years, I’ve been the go-to person for my neighbors and family when they need help with their pets, whether it’s walking, feeding, or simply spending time with them. Caring for animals has become second nature to me, and I genuinely enjoy the connection that comes with looking after someone else’s furry friend! As a university student I’ve got lots of availability, the only times I’m unavailable are on a Monday between 3pm-6pm and a Tuesday between 2pm-5pm When I care for a pet in my home, I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I stick to the routine the owner has set for feeding, walks, and any special needs the pet may have. I make sure their environment is pet-friendly, keeping dangerous items out of reach and setting up a cozy space for them to relax. Whether it's playtime, a walk, or a bit of training, I make sure the pet gets plenty of attention and exercise. I also keep a close eye on their health and happiness. Communication with the owner is important to me, so I always check in about their preferences and send updates to let them know how their pet is doing. I want to make sure they feel completely at ease leaving their furry friend with me.

About: I’ve grown up taking care of our family dogs which included Grate Danes, Labradors and a variety of different breeds from dogs we had rescued and fosters. I have a lot of experience around them and understand each one has different needs and boundaries. I’m currently working one day a week bartending and doing a law degree at university meaning I have free time to spend time and take care of the pups. I have a great love for dogs and enjoy spending time with them and catering to their needs. Each dog has different boundaries and needs which need to be catered too and i understand this. I’m willing to follow the instructions given to ensure the care for your dog is appropriate and to the standards you would expect.

18. Eden W.
“Eden is a great dog walker and animal lover. She has experience walking and taking care of our Weimaraner obie, she enjoys spending time with him, ensures his safety and is capable of handling a larger dog. She is a very reliable, respectful and responsible person. i have also witnessed her handling other dogs, including Staffordshire bull terriers who seem to love her calming nature. I’m sure anyone would be pleased with her services as she is friendly, sensible and has experience with a number of different breeds.”

19. Roxanne R.
About: I am a York based and I would be primarily available for dog walking and doggy day care at my house but am also flexible with dog sitting and drop ins . I am a huge animal lover and have had pets my whole life. I have a female Labradoodle called Echo, who is very friendly and loves company on her walks, I also work from home full time so have flexibility in my schedule and never leave my dog for long at home on her own. I work from home 4 days a week, and usually take my dog out on a schedule roughly an hour in the morning, 30 mins at lunch, an hour after work and then a quick pee break before bed. My dog has free roam of the house all day, every day and would allow your pet the same. I have a fenced in patio but my dog doesn't usually go out there, so we go out a minimum of four times a day
