Outside of Rover, I work full-time in York with good connections to different areas so can do weekday mornings before 8am, weekday evenings after 5pm and anytime on weekends. If it’s far enough in advance, I can be more flexible with daytime walks/visits on weekdays.

I have lived with dogs across their lifespan since I was 4 years old and lived with cats more recently. As well as experience looking after my own dog, I have been a cat sitter for friends and a dog walker for neighbours prior to using Rover. As a vegan, I am very compassionate towards all animals.

Helen was polite and respectful of me and my pets. She sent me daily bulletins and pictures and I was reassured that all was well. I would definitely use Helen again.
We have been anxious about leaving our two dogs in the hands of someone else for a long while, however the recent day they spent with Helen at our house could not have gone better, with them clearly being comfortable around her. Our eldest one especially has trouble warming up to other people, so this is no small feat. We are relieved to have found someone who we and the dogs are comfortable with, and as a result would very much like to have Helen look after them again.
Helen is a delight! Really helped us out at short notice, and took Fred from another sitter, despite not meeting Fred before, and it was a late-at-night sitting. Fred was looked after beautifully, and we could not be more thankful for Helen for allowing us to feel that Fred was in safe hands. 10/10.
Fantastic so great with the animals would highly recommend!
