“Beatriz looked after our dog for 3 days and we couldn’t have felt more comfortable or happier leaving him with her. She was excellent at communicating and met all of our dogs needs. She sent us lots of updates and photos, which was reassuring as this was the first time we had ever left him with a dog sitter. We couldn’t have asked for any better, would definitely recommend Beatriz to look after your pets and would not hesitate to have her look after our dog again!”

“Thanks so much for taking great care of Monty. Getting regular updates and photos from Lesley while we were away reassured us, the children in particular, that he was in good hands. The words “Will look after your dog as if they were my own” are so true. He looked and felt totally at home when I came to pick him up. Thanks again”

“Tom and Georgie were amazing with our 8 month old golden retriever! They took excellent care of her and were able to manage her energetic personality so beautifully. They provided pictures during her stay and were easy to communicate with! Our pup was happy and relaxed- they are incredible!”

“Once again Sally and her family cared for our furry friend. He loves being with them, they send lots of lovely pictures and messages and involve us in his time away from us. I would highly recommend Sally for your dog... however only when we don't need...🤣. Sally is such a lovely gentle person who really cares about our dog and our experience. Thank you again.”

“Chrissy has been amazing looking after our doggo for 6 nights. She kept us updated daily with photos and we returned to a relaxed and very at home pup when we went to pick her up. Would use again and can highly recommend.”

“Willow had a lovely weekend with Nathan. We had a photo and text updates during her stay to let us know how she was getting on. Would be very happy for Willow to stay with Nathan again.”

“Ewan was awesome, looked after Tay my border collie geriatric of 14 1/2 years old,her many medicines and requirements as an old lady nearing the end of life. I could go away reassured she was in the best hands possible. Thank you for looking after my doggy soulmate!”
“I thoroughly recommend Jingxi. It was clear how well she looked after my Catalan sheepdog. The communication was great and I would definitely ask Jingxi to look after Pau again.”

“Absolutely Brilliant. Upon meeting Maria, it was undeniable that she not only loves and cares for dogs, but she is also very aware of their characteristics and needs. Bali stayed with her for a week ,and I think she would have been happy to stay longer”

“Patty had a fantastic time with Vanessa and her boys. She seemed to be part of the family. Plenty of updates and a trip to a farm - lots of enrichment in the four days she was with the family. I would book again.”

“Lindsey was such a lovely host for our dog and I would love to hopefully have Bagel visit again as he had such a fun time. He had a lovely wide range of walks and loads of fun. Thank you!!”

“Eva has looked after Suki two weeks in a row, for overnight stays. Suki was so excited seeing Eva for the second time which to me, indicates she had a good time. Eva shared pictures through the stay!”

“I could write pages on how Cameron and Emily treat our dog with such love and as if he is their own, but I think Chapo’s feelings are much more important. It’s our second time booking with them, and Chapo had been quite moody before we dropped him off, but as soon as we got to their house he was suddenly very happy, very excited, very waggy tail, thrilled to be back. I think that says everything that needs to be said about their brilliant care. He loves playing with Hugo, and Cameron and Emily are amazing with him. Couldn’t recommend them enough.”

“Sophie was amazing, she took our dog on last minute and he had a fantastic time with her! She did long walk with him and sent me lots of photos and stayed in contact regularly. I will definitely be using Sophie again to care for our young dog. Thankyou!!”

“Lucy did amazing with looking after my anxious cat. She followed every instruction left which gave me total peace of mind while I was away! I would 100% recommend her to anyone and I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again in the future.”

“Nala was very well looked after by Ewa and has asked me to leave the following feedback: “I’m pleased Ewa understood as much as I like my own space I do get lonely and like to just chill in the same room. I liked it when she came round and put some treats in little hiding spots like my mum does, I do like a good treasure hunt. I think she gathered this from my loud purrs. I often sat and waited at the window for her to come back and she took some cute pics of me to send to my mum, including one at the window. I’d definitely have her round to look after me again the next time my mum abandons me for a few days”. I’d echo what Nala says and would recommend Ewa to anyone! Thanks Ewa :)”

“Jonny is very switched on and reliable. Helped us through a pickle at very last minute and over bank holiday no less. Great action shots of Goose and he seems very happy!”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Communication was spot on from start to finish- I got regular updates and loads of adorable photos that really put my mind at ease. Louie was clearly having the best time, especially when he got to go to the pub (his favourite kind of outing!). It’s so lovely to know he was treated like one of the family. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking again, I can tell why Melanie has had so many repeat bookings!! :)”

About: I've been a proud dog owner for the past 7 years, raising my Springer Spaniel, Moose from a puppy through to adulthood. Caring for an energetic and intelligent breed has given me hands-on experience with training, exercise, routines, and understanding a dog's individual needs. I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet, and I'll make sure your dog receives the same love, attention, and care that I give my own. I work from home full-time, which means your dog will have plenty of company, attention, and supervision throughout the day. I have a flexible schedule that allows for regular walks, toilet breaks, playtime, and cuddles, ensuring your dog feels comfortable and settled while you're away. My own dog is part of my daily routine, so caring for dogs fits naturally into my lifestyle. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. We have a secure, enclosed garden where dogs can safely enjoy time outdoors, and we're just a 30-second walk from the racecourse, providing plenty of space for walks, exercise, and exploring. My 7-year-old Springer Spaniel, Moose is extremely friendly, sociable, and enjoys the company of other dogs, helping visiting dogs feel welcome and settled. I understand that every dog is different and will always take the time to follow your dog's routine and individual needs to ensure they feel happy, safe, and at home.

About: I've been around dogs since childhood, and three years ago, my family and I adopted our lovely Britney/Staffy cross, Coco, after finding her abandoned while on holiday in Spain. Coco is 5 years old and very loves nothing more than making new doggy friends. We love local walks to the cafe at lunch and going further afield at weekends and would love to have your dog along with us. We also have a large enclosed garden for plenty of outdoor fun during the day! I work from home three days a week and my husband works from home full time so someone will always be around the house. We walk our dog Coco three times a day, and allow plenty of time in the garden between walks. My husband usually walks to a local cafe at lunch for a good one hour walk with the dog. We have a large and totally enclosed back garden and a large open plan living area downstairs. Your dog will be free to wander around the house and hangout with our dog Coco. If we have to pop out for a short time we ensure access to a comfy bed and water at all times.

Kay went the extra mile to get to know Freddie and I received updates on how he was doing, which was appreciated. She was also very understanding when the car I was travelling in broke down, causing me to be later than planned. I’d recommend Kay and hope to book in again soon.”

“Blaze had a great time today with Mika (and Jesse!). She was very well cared for and we received lots of lovely photos and updates while she was there. Blaze can be a little nervous when left, but she didn’t want to leave at the end of their session! Thank you for looking after her :)”

“Naya’s second outing with Esme and hopefully just the beginning of a beautiful friendship! Everything was perfect. I am an anxious dog mum but Esme is reliable and communicative and I quickly felt at ease that my girl was well cared for. Thanks Esme- hope to see you again soon!”

“Caitlin did an amazing job walking our two! Unfortunately we had to go into the office and our girls were so thrilled to get their daily lunch time walk and we’re so well looked after! Thanks again Caitlin - the dogs can’t wait to see you again :)”

“Sydney is wonderful with my dog Tali for her daily walks. I get sent happy pictures from every walk 😊 and she’s even gone so far as to get treats which Tali isn’t allergic to. Would recommend wholeheartedly!”

“Thank you for helping out this week Freya! We are very grateful that Freya was available at such short notice as we realised that both of our back up walkers were on holiday this week! Skye is cat reactive and selectively dog reactive so I messaged Freya because of her experience with her own rescue dog! She gave updates on how Skye had been during her walks. We worry about Skye because of her past and her behaviour which can appear unpredictable to people that don't know her. But felt confident she was in good hands. Thanks again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life and have trained or owned pups from every “walk” of life - from small to large, young puppies to elderly pooches, rugged rescues to pampered pedigrees - I’ve loved them all and want to give your precious pup all the attention they deserve! ☺️ I have a precious pup of my own who loves to have new furry friends around! I like to spend a lot of time outside so walks and playing in the field are frequent. Otherwise, we’ll be found studying at one of the dog-friendly coffee shops. 🙂 I take frequent breaks from work to play with my pup so there is no shortage of affection and attention for dogs here! I also have several dog beds in my home office so if your pup likes to snuggle/sit on laps I’m always up for that while I work. 🐶

About: Hi! I’m Max and I’m 22. I have grown up with dogs - from a yappy, moody Shih Tzu to two needy French Bulldogs and three dopey, dribbly Newfoundlands. My parents even have two Sulcata tortoises! My girlfriend and I moved to York together for University a few years ago and, having graduated, decided to stay here. We’re not currently in a position to have a dog of our own but I am very much missing having so many dogs in my life! I currently work from home as a freelance illustrator, meaning I’m happy to work completely around your schedule. Whether it’s long walks, constant attention or an oddly specific dinner time, you can rest assured that I will maintain your pups routine. As a freelance illustrator working from home, I’m able to cater completely to your pets needs, whether it be hourly wee breaks, lots of play time or long walks. I will follow advice from the owner regarding any safety instructions, off-limits areas of the house, how much attention your pet likes & needs, and any recommended routes for walks.

“Patty had a fantastic time with Vanessa and her boys. She seemed to be part of the family. Plenty of updates and a trip to a farm - lots of enrichment in the four days she was with the family. I would book again.”

“Our first time using Helen and she was fantastic; her communication and professionalism were apparent from the outset, as was her warmth and caring nature. Our retriever was grumpy when he got home which shows he’d rather have stayed with her 🤣”

“Brittany is just wonderful. She was great working with us on extremely short notice and my dog was extremely comfortable and happy with her—cannot recommend this sitter enough!! ☺️🐾”

“I left my kitten with Melanie for 3 days and she was great! I received many pictures and videos and could tell my kitten was very happy at her place! Communication was without any problems, Melanie was very accommodating with the time of drop off and pick up of my cat. Highly recommend and I'm sure I will ask Melanie to take care of my pet in the future! :)”

“Maddie was super patient with our 3 month old puppy, Haribo. This was a booking made on extremely short notice due to a last minute cancellation by another sitter, and so we were extremely lucky that Maddie agreed to take him in for 2 nights. Moreover, she took the time to meet him before the booking and immediately put my and my husband's minds at ease. Haribo was definitely well-taken care of. She was very keen on sticking to his routines, was very caring and affectionate towards him. She took him to the dog park, watched Bluey with him, snuggled with him on the sofa, and took him out regularly. He had accidents but Maddie was so understanding about everything. Haribo def had the time of his life and is a happy pup 😍 we have requested another booking with her because she's amazing!”

“Sophie was amazing, she took our dog on last minute and he had a fantastic time with her! She did long walk with him and sent me lots of photos and stayed in contact regularly. I will definitely be using Sophie again to care for our young dog. Thankyou!!”
