During the boarding, Jennifer kept us updated with pictures of Gregory doing all his favourite things and he looked to be having an absolute splendid time, seemingly as comfortable as he would be in his own home! This was a booking made on extremely short notice due to a last minute cancellation by another sitter, and so we were extremely lucky that Maddie agreed to take him in for 2 nights. Moreover, she took the time to meet him before the booking and immediately put my and my husband's minds at ease. Haribo was definitely well-taken care of. She was very keen on sticking to his routines, was very caring and affectionate towards him. She took him to the dog park, watched Bluey with him, snuggled with him on the sofa, and took him out regularly. He had accidents but Maddie was so understanding about everything. Haribo def had the time of his life and is a happy pup 😍 we have requested another booking with her because she's amazing!”

About: I am a huge animal lover, have had dogs my whole life and currently have a 3 year old female Cockapoo who loves play dates. I also helped to care for my 2 elderly family dogs who had arthritis and hip dysplasia and needed daily medication. Having been through separation anxiety with my own dog, I know how important it is to get the best care for them, with someone you can trust. I guarantee to care for your dog as though they are my own and give them all the love and attention they need. I also know how expensive dog care can be so I aim to keep my rates low to help people with access to affordable and reliable care. I work from home so can be with your dog 24/7. I can walk them with my dog before and after work and they will have access to the garden all day. I have a completely enclosed garden and my dog Leni will keep your fur baby company. She loves to play but can also be very calm when needed and usually gets along with all dogs.

I’m also available for dog walking and day care. We can offer a fenced and safe garden, comfortable sofa and plenty of time for cuddles, company, walks and playtime to all the dogs that stay with us. Our home is very dog friendly and full of treats and toys. We live local to the river and multiple green spaces for a variety of walks. Our family dog, Willow, is 5 years old, she’s an independent miniature poodle. I am happy to arrange a meet and greet before any booking if you would like to see how your dog gets on. I can also easily accommodate separate walks for your dog if you prefer. I want to make your pet feel like this is their home from home so if they have any special requests to make them feel comfortable then please feel free to ask 😁 I’m back from university so I’m available most days, including weekends. I will also be taking care of my own dog when my parents are at work, so I have plenty of time to spend with your dog. I can easily accommodate a dog crate, if your dog is happiest sleeping there. About: I work in education, have a current DBS, and live with my husband and children. We have previously had an indoor cat and have used the cat in a flat service before when we were away. We felt it was just as good as a cattery, and he had his own space and was calmer being at home. I have recently started to find opportunities to volunteer and work with cats which I am thoroughly enjoying.

About: Since the age of 11 I've been taking care of 2 very cheeky, active springer spaniels. I believe that pets are a part of the family. All of my friends are pet professionals and I myself work for a pet microchipping database, focusing on animal welfare. My office is animal friendly and full of treats, beds, and toys. I excel in keeping your pets active while they're with me, plus I can facilitate some level of training through my pet professional connections. Since I can bring pets to my place of work I have availability for any mid-week doggy daycare and boarding. I also have 2 work from home days (generally Tuesday's and Friday's) where I could take better care of pets with more need (say they have to go to the bathroom more frequently). Weekend are more difficult however I'm often doing large hikes on weekends 3/6 hours long, I do these generally with my pet professional friends so there are many experienced hands on deck waiting to get involved. My work from home days can be changed and other amendments can be discussed. I have a garden with a high fence running all the way around. I don't have any pets in my house so no need to worry about conflicts and your animal would never be left alone in the house, either I will be at home with them or they will be at my place of work with me. My area in York has lots of paths for walking pets away from the main road to keep them safe.
About: I have had pets since I was 10 years old. I have had cats, dogs and kittens and also rabbits. I have experience looking after people’s kittens/cats/senior cats and also puppies/adult dogs and senior dogs. I have medication administration experience as our old senior cat had medical conditions which required medication. I love looking after furbabies to ensure their individual needs are being met taking into consideration their different personalities. I currently work a 9-5 job Monday to Friday but I am free evenings and over the weekend. Over the weekend I am more flexible to look after pets in my own home, take them for walks and do drop in sessions. I can also offer dog walking/ drop in sessions in the evening after work hours. It's a huge leap of faith to hand your dog over to someone you don't know, in a city that you don't live in but they both brilliant. Quick to respond to the booking, and flexible when both traffic and meetings meant we had to move the 2 of the booking times. About: I'm El! I had a dog from when she was a puppy right through to old age. We trained her with various commands when she was young as well as monitoring her care and medication when she was older. I have also helped with friends and families dogs with day to day care (fed, walked, bathed etc). I currently only have weekends and evenings/nights available to look after pets. I can also only look after pets in their owners home as mine is under renovations. Caring for pets in their owners home will needs to be discussed on a case by case basis for the pet and the owner. I will always enter caring for a pet with compassion and a nurturing mindset. Looking after a pet in their owners home I would need to understand the boundaries already in place and would want to know their expectations for their home and their pet before before services being agreed.

“I can honestly say Louise is the loveliest person. She looked after my little pug Winnie with so much love and care. I felt so reassured that she was being looked after properly. I got regular photos and updates of Winnie which was lovely. I can’t thank her enough. I hope Winnie can stay with her again.”

“Maddie was super patient with our 3 month old puppy, Haribo. This was a booking made on extremely short notice due to a last minute cancellation by another sitter, and so we were extremely lucky that Maddie agreed to take him in for 2 nights. Moreover, she took the time to meet him before the booking and immediately put my and my husband's minds at ease. Haribo was definitely well-taken care of. She was very keen on sticking to his routines, was very caring and affectionate towards him. She took him to the dog park, watched Bluey with him, snuggled with him on the sofa, and took him out regularly. He had accidents but Maddie was so understanding about everything. Haribo def had the time of his life and is a happy pup 😍 we have requested another booking with her because she's amazing!”

“Rocko and Fred had the best time with Octavia, they seemed very at home when we went to pick them up and we would happily leave them with her again. Had so much more piece of mind that they were having a nice time and being well looked after rather than being at a kennel. Very friendly and accommodating with arranging a meet up before the booking, and our late pickup time after a flight. Kept us up to date with plenty of photos of them making friends with her own dog ?”

“Rasa looked after our 3 cocker spaniels for 2 weeks in October 2025 - we striggled to find anyone who would take all 3 dogs but we immediately felt at ease with Rasa and our girls looked very happy. She followed our feeding instructions clearly and gave them a warm and relaxing home with lots of cuddles and lots of walks. She kept us updated with photos whilst we were away and our girls seemed very happy when we collected them - Nellie didn't really look as though she wanted to come home! Would highly recommend.”
