About: Hi, I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and I’ve come back from university for a long holiday break and would love to welcome your dog into my family’s home to stay. I’m also available for dog walking and day care. We can offer a fenced and safe garden, comfortable sofa and plenty of time for cuddles, company, walks and playtime to all the dogs that stay with us. Our home is very dog friendly and full of treats and toys. We live local to the river and multiple green spaces for a variety of walks. Our family dog, Willow, is 5 years old, she’s an independent miniature poodle. I am happy to arrange a meet and greet before any booking if you would like to see how your dog gets on. I can also easily accommodate separate walks for your dog if you prefer. I want to make your pet feel like this is their home from home so if they have any special requests to make them feel comfortable then please feel free to ask 😁 I’m back from university so I’m available most days, including weekends. I will also be taking care of my own dog when my parents are at work, so I have plenty of time to spend with your dog. I can easily accommodate a dog crate, if your dog is happiest sleeping there. I have a medium-sized fenced garden and live close to Bootham park and the river for nice walks. Your dog is welcome on the sofa and my priority is making them welcome and comfortable.

About: Hi! This is Sally, and I love humans' best friends—dogs! My husband and I both grew up with dogs in our families, and we had our husky for 16 years, which the vet said is an amazing age. I also have experience with many breeds, including Labrador, Retriever, German Shepherd, Border Collie, Husky, German Shorthaired Pointer, Spaniel, and Goldendoodle— and I’m looking forward to meeting many more! I work from home, so I have plenty of time to be with your dog and your baby won't be lonely. Your dog will get at least three lovely walks a day. I love when they walk me during my work breaks! During my breaks, we play fetch, ball games, or any game they like—lots of fun and lots of cuddles too! I am available for boarding on week days and weekends. I have a detached house with a walled garden, and my home is located just behind the Backies nature reserve, making it very easy to go for walks—just a 3-minute walk away.There is a huge off-leash area behind our house, perfect for playing fetch. If you’re happy with me letting your dog off the lead, we can let them off there. I have a spacious living room where your dog can sleep overnight on a comfy bed, or they can stay in our bedroom if needed. I also live very close to a large vet practice in Clifton Moor.

However, when back at my house, your pet will have plenty of companionship and attention throughout the day. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced, secure garden where dogs can safely enjoy time outdoors, as well as easy access to large green spaces nearby for regular walks and exercise. I'm happy to adapt to your pet's usual routine and any specific care requirements, including crate training, medication schedules, feeding routines, or sleeping arrangements. Just let me know your preferences in advance, and I'll do my best to keep their stay as familiar and stress-free as possible. I also have two cats at home. To ensure everyone's comfort and safety, they will be kept in a separate, secure area of the house throughout any dog boarding stay, so your dog can relax and enjoy the space.

About: I have had pets since I was 10 years old. I have had cats, dogs and kittens and also rabbits. I have experience looking after people’s kittens/cats/senior cats and also puppies/adult dogs and senior dogs. I have medication administration experience as our old senior cat had medical conditions which required medication. I love looking after furbabies to ensure their individual needs are being met taking into consideration their different personalities. I currently work a 9-5 job Monday to Friday but I am free evenings and over the weekend. Over the weekend I am more flexible to look after pets in my own home, take them for walks and do drop in sessions. I can also offer dog walking/ drop in sessions in the evening after work hours. I have a fenced backyard for your furbaby and I am a 5 minute walk away from a field. I am available to meet up prior to a sit/walk or drop in so I am able to meet you and your furbaby so you can assess who is going to look after your family member.

About: I'm El! I had a dog from when she was a puppy right through to old age. We trained her with various commands when she was young as well as monitoring her care and medication when she was older. I have also helped with friends and families dogs with day to day care (fed, walked, bathed etc). I currently only have weekends and evenings/nights available to look after pets. I can also only look after pets in their owners home as mine is under renovations. Caring for pets in their owners home will needs to be discussed on a case by case basis for the pet and the owner. I will always enter caring for a pet with compassion and a nurturing mindset. Looking after a pet in their owners home I would need to understand the boundaries already in place and would want to know their expectations for their home and their pet before before services being agreed.

About: I have several experiences of looking after cats and dogs. Both walking dogs, cat sitting where I have fed with and played with cats. I enjoy looking after pets and giving them enrichment I am free in the evenings and on Sunday and Mondays at the moment. So would be be able to fit it it around my schedule. I would help with feeding pets and follow clear instructions. I am more than happy to play and spend time with pets, clean up litter etc. I love walking dogs and playing fetch with them.

About: I have had dog all my life. At the moment I currently have 4 dogs. I also helped out in kennels in Tenerife last year. I am full time. Limited availability on Wednesday and Thursdays as I am at university but this can be done online if I am pet sitting.
