About: Hi! This is Sally, and I love humans' best friends—dogs! My husband and I both grew up with dogs in our families, and we had our husky for 16 years, which the vet said is an amazing age. I also have experience with many breeds, including Labrador, Retriever, German Shepherd, Border Collie, Husky, German Shorthaired Pointer, Spaniel, and Goldendoodle— and I’m looking forward to meeting many more! I work from home, so I have plenty of time to be with your dog and your baby won't be lonely. Your dog will get at least three lovely walks a day. I love when they walk me during my work breaks! During my breaks, we play fetch, ball games, or any game they like—lots of fun and lots of cuddles too! I am available for boarding on week days and weekends. I have a detached house with a walled garden, and my home is located just behind the Backies nature reserve, making it very easy to go for walks—just a 3-minute walk away.There is a huge off-leash area behind our house, perfect for playing fetch. If you’re happy with me letting your dog off the lead, we can let them off there. I have a spacious living room where your dog can sleep overnight on a comfy bed, or they can stay in our bedroom if needed. I also live very close to a large vet practice in Clifton Moor.

About: Hi, I’m Ellen, and I’ve been surrounded by dogs and cats my whole life. For years I’ve been entrusted to walk dogs belonging to friends, family and paying customers, and to do drop-in visits for pets. I also walk and care for my own two dogs, Bella and Wilby, on a daily basis. In 2021 I also had the wonderful experience of raising Bella’s litter of 5 puppies in my family home, from their birth right up until they moved in with their new families (apart from Wilby who we decided to keep!). Wilby is an anxious dog and doesn’t get on well with other dogs, so I’m experienced in walking particularly difficult and antisocial dogs. I’m currently a university student, so my pet care fits around my university schedule. I’m available during the early mornings and the evenings, and my availability varies during working hours, but I’ll always be able to make time for your pet. I’m also available throughout the day on Saturdays and Sundays. Whilst on walks, I prefer to stick to green areas rather than roads for both the safety and enjoyment of your pup. I also shower them with all the pets and attention that they could want.

About: Hi, I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and I’ve come back from university for a long holiday break and would love to welcome your dog into my family’s home to stay. I’m also available for dog walking and day care. We can offer a fenced and safe garden, comfortable sofa and plenty of time for cuddles, company, walks and playtime to all the dogs that stay with us. Our home is very dog friendly and full of treats and toys. We live local to the river and multiple green spaces for a variety of walks. Our family dog, Willow, is 5 years old, she’s an independent miniature poodle. I am happy to arrange a meet and greet before any booking if you would like to see how your dog gets on. I can also easily accommodate separate walks for your dog if you prefer. I want to make your pet feel like this is their home from home so if they have any special requests to make them feel comfortable then please feel free to ask 😁 I’m back from university so I’m available most days, including weekends. I will also be taking care of my own dog when my parents are at work, so I have plenty of time to spend with your dog. I can easily accommodate a dog crate, if your dog is happiest sleeping there. I have a medium-sized fenced garden and live close to Bootham park and the river for nice walks. Your dog is welcome on the sofa and my priority is making them welcome and comfortable.

About: I've been dog sitting for my family and friends for 5 years now, and have a gentle and caring approach to meeting new people and pets. I am a member of my uni's dog society where we socialise and walk dogs, and have experience from raising two crazy spaniels from puppy / rescue. Would love new company and experience! About: Are you looking for a regular dog walker to walk your beloved pooch? I'm offering a solo dog walking service, just for your dog. The walk will be in your local area and can be either a half or full hour. So if your work takes precedent or you are unable to manage the walk because of health or other priorities then I could be your man. Having taken a very early retirement, I've had experience working as a specialist dog handler. I now find myself with a lot of free time and I'm looking to do what I love most and that's, spending more time with dogs. I offer a 9am walk and a 4pm walk and I'm also available for a drop in visit in between, if you need it. These times can be flexed by agreement one hour either side. Skills: • Feeding and administering medication. • Dog walking & exercise. • Patient with nervous dogs. • Previous dog handling experience & training from my previous employment. • Basic first aid. Available Monday to Friday to walk your dog. Puppies accepted and I'm happy to provide some basic training tips to new dog owners if required. I have dog walking insurance ( not that it's needed) and I'm enhanced DBS checked. Your dog will be well cared for whilst in my custody and looked after with love.
