About: Hi, I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and I’ve come back from university for a long holiday break and would love to welcome your dog into my family’s home to stay. I’m also available for dog walking and day care. We can offer a fenced and safe garden, comfortable sofa and plenty of time for cuddles, company, walks and playtime to all the dogs that stay with us. Our home is very dog friendly and full of treats and toys. We live local to the river and multiple green spaces for a variety of walks. Our family dog, Willow, is 5 years old, she’s an independent miniature poodle. I am happy to arrange a meet and greet before any booking if you would like to see how your dog gets on. I can also easily accommodate separate walks for your dog if you prefer. I want to make your pet feel like this is their home from home so if they have any special requests to make them feel comfortable then please feel free to ask 😁 I’m back from university so I’m available most days, including weekends. I will also be taking care of my own dog when my parents are at work, so I have plenty of time to spend with your dog. I can easily accommodate a dog crate, if your dog is happiest sleeping there. I have a medium-sized fenced garden and live close to Bootham park and the river for nice walks. Your dog is welcome on the sofa and my priority is making them welcome and comfortable.

About: Having grown up with different breeds and owning a three-legged rescue dog who required additional care and training, I have developed a strong understanding of the individual needs and personalities of dogs. This experience has given me patience, confidence, and the ability to adapt to different temperaments, routines, and care requirements. I am committed to providing a safe, loving, and reliable environment. I can work remotely during the week and have availability over weekends, which allows me to have more flexible and cater the individual pet's needs. My priority is creating a safe, trusting environment where pets feel secure and loved. I treat every animal as an individual — paying attention to their personality, comfort levels, and any special needs. Pet parents can relax knowing their pets are cared for with patience, consistency, and genuine affection.

About: I have always loved animals and was lucky enough to get my first dog this year called Callie. I’ve looked after friend’s dogs for long periods of time. My partner and I both work from home. We have a lovely sized garden perfect for a dog. We also love walks particularly as we have many scenic dog friendly parks nearby. I have a fenced garden and a young cockapoo called Callie! Callie is friendly, loving and completed puppy training classes. She is well trained and gets along well with other dogs.

About: I am a huge animal lover, have had dogs my whole life and currently have a 3 year old female Cockapoo who loves play dates. I also helped to care for my 2 elderly family dogs who had arthritis and hip dysplasia and needed daily medication. Having been through separation anxiety with my own dog, I know how important it is to get the best care for them, with someone you can trust. I guarantee to care for your dog as though they are my own and give them all the love and attention they need. I also know how expensive dog care can be so I aim to keep my rates low to help people with access to affordable and reliable care. I work from home so can be with your dog 24/7. I can walk them with my dog before and after work and they will have access to the garden all day. I have a completely enclosed garden and my dog Leni will keep your fur baby company. She loves to play but can also be very calm when needed and usually gets along with all dogs.

About: I adore animals and grew up with dogs, mainly terriers and labs so caring for them is second nature to me. I’ve worked in many places that are dog friendly also. I absolutely adore pets and and can’t wait to know yours. I’ve got over 10 years experience living with and minding pets, mainly dogs and cats, from puppies to rescues. I’m an active outdoorsy person so can provide that adventure if needed but also know a calm and comforting environment with a cuddle is sometimes what’s needed. I work freelance so my schedule is variable and flexible. I keep my calendar as up to date as possible but just get in touch if you’re interested and we can chat! I live in a new build flat, accessed via stairs in York. It is spacious and airy and near many green spaces with lovely walks and not far from the river and gardens. About: I have had dogs for most of my life and would love to get one now, but this isn’t possible for me at the moment. So I have decided to look after other people’s dogs to get my puppy fix!! I have experience training my families dogs from puppy age and know exactly what a dog can and can’t do/have. I would treat any dog as my own, giving it exactly what it needs, whether that’s lots of cuddles and walks or just a place for some rest. I usually have a busy schedule with work, however I always have a day off in the week and every other weekend off. I would work around whatever times & dates are needed, making sure that your dog gets the best possible care! I live in a flat, however there is a big field next to where I live and I have a car, so I would be able to drive to any good walking spots as well! Please let me know of any requirements your dog may have, so I can give your dog the best care possible!

About: I have 3 years of experience working as a kennel assistant in a veterinary practice, caring for patients and cleaning out their kennels. I regularly fed, cleaned, gave medication and walked the pets in the practice. I also helped nurses to administer injections, and help with newborn animals and end-of-life care. I grew up with cats, dogs, budgies and Guinea pigs, and both parents were vets so we regularly had overnight patients staying with us. I have more recently lived with flatmates and co-cared for their pets such as cats and dogs. I have dog- and cat-sat informally for friends and family. I love animals and know how to care for them with compassion, love, and authority where needed. I work full-time in a remote position for a sustainability initiative and have time to look after your lovely pets between 6-9am, between 12-2pm (depending on meetings) and after 6pm on weekdays. On occasion, I have to be in the office in London, or on work trips abroad which can reduce my regular availability. I live in a flat with a flatmate who is also a cat and dog lover, and can on occasion host pets there. To note, while I try to keep my availability up-to-date, the nature of my work and personal life (I am a primary carer for a cancer patient) can sometimes affect my availability, although I try to keep a consistent schedule. I live in a raised ground-floor flat near some wonderful green spaces for walking your dog. I live with a flatmate who is also a cat and dog lover, and we both grew up surrounding by large and small animals. Our home is down a cul-de-sac with little traffic, and is a generally peaceful place without much noise. Our neighbours have a dog who is very well-behaved, and pets are allowed in our building, however we do not have our own pets, nor any equipment that goes alongside that! So we would hugely appreciate it if you can bring your own bowls/beds with you when requesting overnight or daytime stays :)
