About: I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, having grown up with pets throughout my life. I'm confident in providing day-to-day care, including feeding, walking, administering medication, and ensuring pets are happy, safe, and well looked after. Growing up, whilst having my own family's pets, I also regularly walked dogs for neighbours, giving me experience with dogs of different sizes and personalities. I have also previously cat sat which included feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, and giving cats the attention and care they need while their owners are away. I work from home at least three days a week, which means I can provide plenty of care and attention for pets during the week as well as at weekends. My flexible work schedule also allows me to fit in regular walks and drop-in visits. I live close to the racecourse, so have lots of green space nearby, making it the perfect location for walks and fresh air. Whether your dog loves long adventures or prefers a gentle stroll, I'm happy to tailor walks to their needs. I'm also available for pet sitting at your home, so they can stay comfortable in their familiar surroundings while you’re away. As someone who spends much of the day working at a desk, I enjoy getting outside for walks. However, when back at my house, your pet will have plenty of companionship and attention throughout the day. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced, secure garden where dogs can safely enjoy time outdoors, as well as easy access to large green spaces nearby for regular walks and exercise. I'm happy to adapt to your pet's usual routine and any specific care requirements, including crate training, medication schedules, feeding routines, or sleeping arrangements. Just let me know your preferences in advance, and I'll do my best to keep their stay as familiar and stress-free as possible. I also have two cats at home. To ensure everyone's comfort and safety, they will be kept in a separate, secure area of the house throughout any dog boarding stay, so your dog can relax and enjoy the space.

About: Hi, I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and I’ve come back from university for a long holiday break and would love to welcome your dog into my family’s home to stay. I’m also available for dog walking and day care. We can offer a fenced and safe garden, comfortable sofa and plenty of time for cuddles, company, walks and playtime to all the dogs that stay with us. Our home is very dog friendly and full of treats and toys. We live local to the river and multiple green spaces for a variety of walks. Our family dog, Willow, is 5 years old, she’s an independent miniature poodle. I am happy to arrange a meet and greet before any booking if you would like to see how your dog gets on. I can also easily accommodate separate walks for your dog if you prefer. I want to make your pet feel like this is their home from home so if they have any special requests to make them feel comfortable then please feel free to ask 😁 I’m back from university so I’m available most days, including weekends. I will also be taking care of my own dog when my parents are at work, so I have plenty of time to spend with your dog. I can easily accommodate a dog crate, if your dog is happiest sleeping there. I have a medium-sized fenced garden and live close to Bootham park and the river for nice walks. Your dog is welcome on the sofa and my priority is making them welcome and comfortable.

About: I have had pets since I was 10 years old. I have had cats, dogs and kittens and also rabbits. I have experience looking after people’s kittens/cats/senior cats and also puppies/adult dogs and senior dogs. I have medication administration experience as our old senior cat had medical conditions which required medication. I love looking after furbabies to ensure their individual needs are being met taking into consideration their different personalities. I currently work a 9-5 job Monday to Friday but I am free evenings and over the weekend. Over the weekend I am more flexible to look after pets in my own home, take them for walks and do drop in sessions. I can also offer dog walking/ drop in sessions in the evening after work hours. I have a fenced backyard for your furbaby and I am a 5 minute walk away from a field. I am available to meet up prior to a sit/walk or drop in so I am able to meet you and your furbaby so you can assess who is going to look after your family member.

About: I have several experiences of looking after cats and dogs. Both walking dogs, cat sitting where I have fed with and played with cats. I enjoy looking after pets and giving them enrichment I am free in the evenings and on Sunday and Mondays at the moment. So would be be able to fit it it around my schedule. I would help with feeding pets and follow clear instructions. I am more than happy to play and spend time with pets, clean up litter etc. I love walking dogs and playing fetch with them.

About: I have studied Animal Management at Level 3 and want to use that knowledge to care for other people's pets. I've had my own whippet since I was 6. I had the pleasure of caring for him at home until his recent death. Over recent years, friends and neighbours have asked me to care for their pets which has been very rewarding. I am currently in between jobs so Im available all times however I do have to walk as i don't currently have my drivers license I have been taught how to safely hand pets and will follow all instructions provided as all pets are different. If there are specific requirement please let me know before hand but Im not afraid of anyone jumping up or being overly friendly, same goes for if they are more reserved.

For the past decade, I’ve owned and cared for more specialized pets like ferrets, which has given me a deep understanding of patience, attentiveness, and individualized care. I especially love dogs and have experience training puppies as well as caring for senior dogs who need a little extra gentleness and support. From high-energy youngsters to calm, elderly companions, I’m comfortable adapting to each dog’s unique personality and needs. No dog feels unfamiliar to me, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I'm available most (if not all) days of the week currently and have plenty of time in my day to care for your loving pet. I'll care for your pet in your own home to your standards and instructions including play, treats, and meals. I can also care for them in my home, but have only a limited terraced garden space for them to play outside (my home is big for roaming, for more indoor inclined dogs).

About: I have had dog all my life. At the moment I currently have 4 dogs. I also helped out in kennels in Tenerife last year. I am full time. Limited availability on Wednesday and Thursdays as I am at university but this can be done online if I am pet sitting. I will come round for a meet and greet to make sure me and your fur baby get along great. I also take veterinary details in case of an emergency. I will keep doors, gates, windows secure. I will be round all hours to make sure they are happy and looked after.

About: Having worked in pets at home from age 16 for 5 years I got to learn all the basics of animal care for a variety of pets. I've grown up around spaniels and have a beautiful 3 year old male working cocker spaniel who loves a friend to play with. I've also previously walked dogs as a part time job as well as care for people's pets through borrow my doggy before I got my dog. I currently work full time as a nurse, my weekends are free and I also have a day off during the week where I would be happy to help out with dog walking or visits. I have a fully secured back garden with grass and patio and no flower/plant borders making it very secure and safe for dogs. I would treat your dog the same as my own whilst also respecting their routine and normal house rules.

About: I’m 28 and alongside having my own saluki for the last 14 years, I’ve looked after many along the way! I’ve regularly walked my neighbours jack russell terrier, my friends labrodaur- and often assisted with 2 of my friends having their own dog walking businesses so I’m very familiar with dogs of all types and sizes! 🫶 I currently work part-time and love the idea of dog walking in my spare time! I’m very active and already walk a 4 mile loop to and from work, so you know you’re dog would have plenty of exercise 🐶 I moved to York last summer so it would also be lovely to meet new people at the same time 🤎 I live in rented accommodation so would mainly offer dog walking services, or check-ins throughout the day. I'll handle feeding, fresh water, play, and any care tasks you request, following whatever schedule works best for you and your pet. I keep things secure while I'm there, making sure doors and windows are closed and your pet stays safe indoors. I'll follow any instructions you leave, from food portions to favourite games or the quiet spots your pet likes best, so their day stays as familiar as possible. I also send regular photos and updates so you always know how they're doing, and I treat every pet with the same care and patience I give my own.
