About: I am a huge animal lover, have had dogs my whole life and currently have a 3 year old female Cockapoo who loves play dates. I also helped to care for my 2 elderly family dogs who had arthritis and hip dysplasia and needed daily medication. Having been through separation anxiety with my own dog, I know how important it is to get the best care for them, with someone you can trust. I guarantee to care for your dog as though they are my own and give them all the love and attention they need. I also know how expensive dog care can be so I aim to keep my rates low to help people with access to affordable and reliable care. I work from home so can be with your dog 24/7. I can walk them with my dog before and after work and they will have access to the garden all day. I have a completely enclosed garden and my dog Leni will keep your fur baby company. She loves to play but can also be very calm when needed and usually gets along with all dogs.

About: I previous worked in a dog kennels and cattery this gave me lots of experience working with all different types of dogs and cats, and how to manage different pets differently. As well as this I have a T-level in animal behavioural welfare that has educated me on how to look after animals correctly. I’ve always had dogs of my own growing up and I always treat other peoples pets like they’re my own. Working with dogs and cats alone I’ve had over a decade of experience growing up with them but in a working environment I’ve had four years. I’m currently working part-time working at least once every weekend and on the afternoon during the week this gives me plenty of time to look after pets in the morning or around work. I have studied animal behaviour and welfare and have worked in a dog kennels and cattery before therefore I know how to care for a range of dogs and cats. Both my dogs are very friendly and well trained.

About: From childhood, I have lived with dogs and cats of different breeds and ages. I work 1 hour a day in the morning and afternoon, term time only. The rest of the day I am free, as well as, weekends.I live with my husband and our home is calm and pet friendly. We have a secure back garden. We have lots of lovely walks on our doorstep and a safe, secure gated field nearby. Visiting grandchildren are 14 years plus. I would follow the owners wishes regarding the caring and exercising of their pet, making sure their pet feels happy and relaxed in our home, just as my own pets do. I would want the owner to feel reassured when leaving their pet and I would keep them updated throughout their stay. If your pet would enjoy the company of me and my pets, there is always room for them on our settee! I work one hour a day in the morning and afternoon, weekdays and term time only. I am free the rest of the time and at weekends. I have my own car for transporting pets. My home is calm and relaxed and dog friendly with a secure garden and lots of lovely walks on my doorstep. There is a secured gated field nearby. I can give your pets lots of fuss or leave them to rest and relax if they wish. I would ensure I followed the owner’s instructions and I would keep them updated. I would keep a good routine, with feeding, making sure their pets food is fresh in clean bowls with access to fresh water. I would exercise them to suit their needs. I am happy to bathe, brush, clean teeth if they allow but I do not clip nails. I would give medication according to owner’s instructions. I would ensure harnesses, leads are secure before leaving on a walk and car restraints are secured before transporting. Pets are allowed on our chairs and sofas and beds and I would like them to feel safe, relaxed and comfortable. I can crate if required. I would give positive praise and fussing, helping your pet to feel at home in our home!

About: I have professional experience working with a variety of animals from over the last 10 years, particularly in a rescue environment working with lots of animals with different needs and backgrounds. Professionally, I have experience working with and building relationships with nervous animals, particularly nervous dogs and cats as well as training young animals and caring for senior pets. I have lots of experience administering medications including injectable medications and tablets and am happy to run through everything with you prior to you being away to ensure I can keep to your usual routine as best as possible and cause the least disruption to your pets. I am also fully insured as a pet sitter/dog walker. Aside from my professional qualifications, I have also taken on informal pet sitting duties for neighbours and friends, as well as having a menagerie of my own! I’m currently awaiting to start a new job so have plenty of time to look after, play with, and care for your pets. I’m available for staying over on weekends and can be around at any time needed otherwise. I am able to carry out pet sitting in the home around my work also and would be happy to visit your home during lunch breaks as I would with my own pets. Having worked with lots of different animals with specific and individual needs, I take the time to ensure that I know your routine and what your pet needs. Whether your furry friend needs lots of play time, walking, or just company around the house, I’m ready to take on and cater to their usual routine and needs to ensure minimal disruption whilst you’re out and away.

About: I have my own cat and dog who I trained and looked after myself as a puppy. I was often left with my own animals alone as a child and I still am relied on to care for them to this day. I have also looked after friends’ pets. I love any cat or dog and am willing to learn any care for any extra support that may be needed . I am currently home from university and unoccupied. I love animals, and want my life to be full of them so any of my free time I can put into that is perfect. I am very careful to keep things tidy and organised, while catering to your pet’s comfort. I am coming into their and your home and so do my best to adapt to their environment, while taking care of your home!

About: Hi! I'm Hope, a medical student based in Milton Keynes who has always enjoyed being around animals. Growing up with two cats and a mini schnauzer, I know the importance of knowing your pet is in safe, competent hands with somebody you can trust when you are away, and I promise to deliver excellent care while giving you that peace of mind. Whether your pet needs a walk, daily care or just some company, I'd be happy to help while keeping you updated through the process. I have enjoyed previous dog walking and cat-sitting for family and friends, and I am eager to continue this through Rover. In term time I am a university student, however I do not have many contact hours so I am very flexible in what times and days I can provide care for your pet! I will follow the instructions for your individual pet and provide them with a calm presence when I take care of them while taking notice of their body language to assess what they need. Additionally, in the case of home visits I will ensure your house is locked and secure after I leave.

I’ve had Connor look over my cats for a few years now and I was more than happy to schedule him again! He’s timely and always provides pictures with his updates, which I appreciate - it’s good to see a little snippet of my cats each day when I’m gone. My girls are messy and he’s very tidy with the cats, cleans the litter trays regularly, and uses the hoover to clean up any messes my cats have left behind. I’ve also forgotten to take out the bins/recycling before when I’ve been traveling. If he’s cat sitting, he always happy to take the bins to the curb. He’s incredibly reliable and my cats love him! I will be definitely be booking him again.

I can’t recommend Scott highly enough! He’s been brilliant with our German Shepherd puppy. From the moment they met, our little one absolutely adored him – tail wagging like crazy and zero hesitation, which says everything when you have a sometimes-wary GSD pup. Scott’s knowledge of the breed is outstanding, and he’s gone far beyond basic sitting with house visits, extra training advice, and general support that’s made us much more confident owners. Thanks to him, our puppy is calmer, more independent, and genuinely thriving. Scott clearly loves what he does and understands dogs completely. If you want someone reliable, knowledgeable, and who your dog will love, book Scott – we already have him in mind for every trip! 🐾❤️

About: From my childhood surrounded by dogs - from German Shepherds to Spaniels -to raising my own gentle Labrador, caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I truly believe life wouldn’t be the same without our four-legged companions, and I treat every guest dog as part of my family. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs -from energetic youngsters to gentle seniors and anxious rescues. I only take a small number of dogs at a time, which allows me to give them calm, individual attention and a truly homely atmosphere. I live just outside York, in a peaceful countryside setting with a large secure garden, private fields, and quiet woodland paths - perfect for relaxed walks and safe playtime. Working from home means your dog will have company and care throughout the day. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your furry friend is safe, happy, and loved. Every dog has its own rhythm - some enjoy adventures, others prefer a cosy nap in the sunshine. I adapt to each one’s personality and routine, ensuring they feel settled and secure. I work from my home office, which means your dog will always have company and care throughout the day. We live in a secure home with a large garden, open private fields, and quiet woodland paths - perfect for plenty of safe, relaxed walkies. I live just outside York, in a peaceful and secure countryside home that provides a calm, safe environment for your furry friend. The property has a large enclosed garden, private fields, and quiet woodland areas -perfect for relaxed play and exploration. Depending on your dog’s personality and needs, I’ll make sure they feel completely at ease. Sociable dogs are welcome to share a room with my own gentle Labrador for company, while those who prefer more space or quiet have a comfortable area of their own. About: I'm El! I had a dog from when she was a puppy right through to old age. We trained her with various commands when she was young as well as monitoring her care and medication when she was older. I have also helped with friends and families dogs with day to day care (fed, walked, bathed etc). I currently only have weekends and evenings/nights available to look after pets. I can also only look after pets in their owners home as mine is under renovations. Caring for pets in their owners home will needs to be discussed on a case by case basis for the pet and the owner. I will always enter caring for a pet with compassion and a nurturing mindset. Looking after a pet in their owners home I would need to understand the boundaries already in place and would want to know their expectations for their home and their pet before before services being agreed.

About: I have had dogs my whole life and always been around dogs and loved them. I have just finished my year as the President of Dog Society at the University of York, bringing dogs to campus each week for students to meet and play with when they’re feeling homesick. I’ve got experience feeding, walking, washing and caring for a variety of sized dogs, from Miniature Dachshunds to Dalmatians and everything in between. I also have experience of giving dogs and cats pill based medication - even to pets that really hate them! My own dog loves to run off on walks so I’ve got plenty of experience with dogs who are escape artists so I’m well aware of all their tricks! I like to meet with you and your dog before hand to get to know you both and give you peace of mind when I look after them. I am at home in Sussex until end of August when I am then back in York full time I have just graduated from the University of York and now work Monday to Friday however I am flexible and am around on the weekends so have lots of time for looking after your dog. I am happy to look after your dog, just message me and we can sort a time that suits. I’m willing to become a regular helping hand for your dog. I am unable to care for pets in my own home at the moment due to renting my home however I am confident walking dogs and caring for them in your own home.

About: I've shared my life with animals since I was eight, from the family dog I grew up with to another in my twenties, and cats have been part of my home for around thirty years. That long stretch has taught me to read an animal's mood and move at their pace rather than my own. If your pet is nervous, shy, or slow to trust, you're exactly the kind of owner I'm glad to hear from. I don't rush or crowd an animal. I let them come to me, and I've found that even skittish cats who hide from most people tend to settle with me before long. Quiet patience does most of the work. Your pet stays on their normal routine while you're away, with feeding, play, and company that fit what they're used to. I'll keep you updated with photos and notes so you can relax knowing they're in good hands. Whether you have a bouncy dog or a wary cat who needs a gentle presence, I'll treat them with the same care I give my own. I run my own training business from home, which gives me the flexibility to care for your animal in your own home and fit visits around what suits you. My schedule is my own to arrange, so I can commit to the times your pet is used to being fed, walked, or checked on, whether that's early mornings, midday, or evenings. Because I'm not tied to fixed office hours, I can be reliable and consistent for the whole time you're away, and flexible enough to adjust if your plans change. I'm happy to agree a regular routine with you in advance so your pet knows what to expect and you know exactly when I'll be there. I care for pets in your home, where they're most comfortable and can stick to their normal routine while you're away. I'll handle feeding, fresh water, play, and any care tasks you request, following whatever schedule works best for you and your pet. I keep things secure while I'm there, making sure doors and windows are closed and your pet stays safe indoors. I'll follow any instructions you leave, from food portions to favourite games or the quiet spots your pet likes best, so their day stays as familiar as possible. I also send regular photos and updates so you always know how they're doing, and I treat every pet with the same care and patience I give my own.

About: Experienced in having my own friend, a retired police dog (Springer SpanielxBoarder Collie) until his age of 15 for years. My family fosters rescue dogs from Romania, Kizzie (the one pictured) stayed with us for 3 months going from extremely scared of people to the most loving playful dog. Loving the outdoors myself, sharing it with dogs is something I really enjoy. Since traveling for work the last couple of years I was unable to have my own again. Now settling down I’m hoping to give other dogs the love and care until I’m ready for my own. A Reservist in the military, I’m looking for more full time work so currently have multiples days off at a time so flexibility is strong. Currently living with family who have an old dog so unable to care for other pets at the house. Able to walk/day service and overnight service at owners house if needs be

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals since been born and looked after different species of dogs and cats since they were young. I’ve helped train and teach them on what to do. I’ve helped more in the past few years with been older and sitting my families animals when they are away I am currently at uni where I’m there 2 days a week but varies all the time, and I also work part time at a pharmacy which I am changing my hours soon to fit around university. I have a fenced off garden space which is fine to allow dogs in for the toilet. There is a big downstairs space which is enough to allow the animals in and run about and sleep.

My partner and I rarely get a chance to go out and not worry about our Cockerpoo, but knowing Jonny was checking in on him made our night a lot more comfortable. We couldn’t be happier with the care Frank provided during the drop-in visits. Communication was excellent from start to finish: Frank kept me updated after every visit with messages and photos, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. Winnie can be quite reactive and doesn’t always warm up to new people, but she built trust with Frank surprisingly quickly and was clearly very comfortable. He was also willing to meet her before the drop ins as well, so she wouldn’t be stressed when he came over, which is very thoughtful. He was very responsive, replying quickly to messages and answering any questions or concerns I had. He also kindly changed the visit time at a short notice. I would absolutely book with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional sitter!
