About: I have had dogs my whole life and always been around dogs and loved them. I have just finished my year as the President of Dog Society at the University of York, bringing dogs to campus each week for students to meet and play with when they’re feeling homesick. I’ve got experience feeding, walking, washing and caring for a variety of sized dogs, from Miniature Dachshunds to Dalmatians and everything in between. I also have experience of giving dogs and cats pill based medication - even to pets that really hate them! My own dog loves to run off on walks so I’ve got plenty of experience with dogs who are escape artists so I’m well aware of all their tricks! I like to meet with you and your dog before hand to get to know you both and give you peace of mind when I look after them. I am at home in Sussex until end of August when I am then back in York full time I have just graduated from the University of York and now work Monday to Friday however I am flexible and am around on the weekends so have lots of time for looking after your dog. I am happy to look after your dog, just message me and we can sort a time that suits. I’m willing to become a regular helping hand for your dog. I am unable to care for pets in my own home at the moment due to renting my home however I am confident walking dogs and caring for them in your own home.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and caring for them has always come naturally to me. For the past decade, I’ve owned and cared for more specialized pets like ferrets, which has given me a deep understanding of patience, attentiveness, and individualized care. I especially love dogs and have experience training puppies as well as caring for senior dogs who need a little extra gentleness and support. I'm confident in providing day-to-day care, including feeding, walking, administering medication, and ensuring pets are happy, safe, and well looked after. I live close to the racecourse, so have lots of green space nearby, making it the perfect location for walks and fresh air. I'm also available for pet sitting at your home, so they can stay comfortable in their familiar surroundings while you’re away. As someone who spends much of the day working at a desk, I enjoy getting outside for walks. However, when back at my house, your pet will have plenty of companionship and attention throughout the day. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced, secure garden where dogs can safely enjoy time outdoors, as well as easy access to large green spaces nearby for regular walks and exercise. I'm happy to adapt to your pet's usual routine and any specific care requirements, including crate training, medication schedules, feeding routines, or sleeping arrangements. Just let me know your preferences in advance, and I'll do my best to keep their stay as familiar and stress-free as possible. I also have two cats at home. To ensure everyone's comfort and safety, they will be kept in a separate, secure area of the house throughout any dog boarding stay, so your dog can relax and enjoy the space.

About: I have 3 years of experience working as a kennel assistant in a veterinary practice, caring for patients and cleaning out their kennels. I regularly fed, cleaned, gave medication and walked the pets in the practice. I also helped nurses to administer injections, and help with newborn animals and end-of-life care. I grew up with cats, dogs, budgies and Guinea pigs, and both parents were vets so we regularly had overnight patients staying with us. I have more recently lived with flatmates and co-cared for their pets such as cats and dogs. I have dog- and cat-sat informally for friends and family. I love animals and know how to care for them with compassion, love, and authority where needed. I work full-time in a remote position for a sustainability initiative and have time to look after your lovely pets between 6-9am, between 12-2pm (depending on meetings) and after 6pm on weekdays. On occasion, I have to be in the office in London, or on work trips abroad which can reduce my regular availability. I live in a flat with a flatmate who is also a cat and dog lover, and can on occasion host pets there. To note, while I try to keep my availability up-to-date, the nature of my work and personal life (I am a primary carer for a cancer patient) can sometimes affect my availability, although I try to keep a consistent schedule. I live in a raised ground-floor flat near some wonderful green spaces for walking your dog. I live with a flatmate who is also a cat and dog lover, and we both grew up surrounding by large and small animals. Our home is down a cul-de-sac with little traffic, and is a generally peaceful place without much noise. Our neighbours have a dog who is very well-behaved, and pets are allowed in our building, however we do not have our own pets, nor any equipment that goes alongside that! So we would hugely appreciate it if you can bring your own bowls/beds with you when requesting overnight or daytime stays :)

About: I have several experiences of looking after cats and dogs. Both walking dogs, cat sitting where I have fed with and played with cats. I enjoy looking after pets and giving them enrichment I am free in the evenings and on Sunday and Mondays at the moment. So would be be able to fit it it around my schedule. I would help with feeding pets and follow clear instructions. I am more than happy to play and spend time with pets, clean up litter etc. I love walking dogs and playing fetch with them.

About: I previous worked in a dog kennels and cattery this gave me lots of experience working with all different types of dogs and cats, and how to manage different pets differently. As well as this I have a T-level in animal behavioural welfare that has educated me on how to look after animals correctly. I’ve always had dogs of my own growing up and I always treat other peoples pets like they’re my own. Working with dogs and cats alone I’ve had over a decade of experience growing up with them but in a working environment I’ve had four years. I’m currently working part-time working at least once every weekend and on the afternoon during the week this gives me plenty of time to look after pets in the morning or around work. I have studied animal behaviour and welfare and have worked in a dog kennels and cattery before therefore I know how to care for a range of dogs and cats. Both my dogs are very friendly and well trained.

About: Having walked neighbour’s dogs from a young age and grown up with cats, I’m very comfortable looking after both dogs and cats. I have been on Rover since the start of 2026, and have done pet-sitting in my home, in their own home, as well as on a drop-in basis. I have experience with a wide range of breeds, ages and temperaments. I like to live an active life so longer walks are not an issue for me. I’d be keen to follow your own routines with your pet to give them consistency, and of course give them a happy, safe and comfortable time with me. I also make sure to give consistent updates to owners so they know how their pet is doing - pets really are part of the family! I work full time Mon-Fri, at home on Mondays and Fridays, so dog sitting on long weekends is particularly good when I can give them undivided attention. I’d be happy doing duties before/after work and during my lunch hour when I’m at the office too. Weekend-wise, I’m entirely available and flexible to cater to the dog’s usual exercise routines. I can offer at least 2 good walks a day and can feed however many times a day your dog is used to (please provide their regular food). I would keep routines consistent and watch for any changes in behaviour, and provide regular photo/message updates so you feel connected. I treat all pets as though they’re my own - with a lot of love and care! I’m trustworthy to provide the best possible care for your pet whether they are staying in my house or your own, and would respect your space if doing drop in visits and be particularly careful about locking up when leaving. If they’re staying with me, my house is in a quiet area with a secure, dog-proof garden. I would do my best to follow your pet’s routines to give them as much consistency as possible. I would also ensure to give you regular updates on how your pet is doing and what they’re getting up to! My aim is for your pet to return to you happy and relaxed.
