I’ve also forgotten to take out the bins/recycling before when I’ve been traveling. If he’s cat sitting, he always happy to take the bins to the curb. He’s incredibly reliable and my cats love him! About: Hello! I’m Ben, and I would be thrilled to be your go-to dog walker and sitter. I’ve gained a lot of hands-on experience caring for dogs, and my passion for their well-being has only grown stronger over time. My partner Rebecca and I have a two-year-old Border Collie/Lab mix named Pearl. While she has a little of that energetic collie craziness, she’s well-behaved, affectionate, and a joy to be around. Caring for Pearl has taught me even more about canine behaviour, training, and the importance of exercise and socialisation, which I bring to every walk and sitting session. Rebecca has been around dogs all her life and sometimes joins me and your furry friend on walks. She loves dogs of all sizes and breeds and is very knowledgeable about their care. Beyond our own pets, Rebecca and I volunteer with Team Arlo York, a lost dog rescue group. We’re actively involved in call-outs, searches, and rescues, using gear like thermal drones and scopes to help find missing dogs in the York area. This experience has deepened our understanding of dog behaviour, safety, and handling in all situations. About: I’ve taken care of numerous dogs, aging from pups to seniors. I have maintained training programmes, as well as managing nervous and aggressive dogs. My experience in care work means I am exceptionally attentive and empathetic. I have a flexible schedule as a student. I am looking for part time work, and I am happy to work around pet owners requirements. My approach differs between cats and dogs. Cats: I keep a calm, quiet environment with no loud noises or surprises. I like to give the cat the space it deserves, and allow it to approach me when ready for cuddles or playing. About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and caring for them has always come naturally to me. For the past decade, I’ve owned and cared for more specialized pets like ferrets, which has given me a deep understanding of patience, attentiveness, and individualized care. I especially love dogs and have experience training puppies as well as caring for senior dogs who need a little extra gentleness and support. About: I have my own cat and dog who I trained and looked after myself as a puppy. I was often left with my own animals alone as a child and I still am relied on to care for them to this day. I have also looked after friends’ pets. I love any cat or dog and am willing to learn any care for any extra support that may be needed . I am currently home from university and unoccupied. I love animals, and want my life to be full of them so any of my free time I can put into that is perfect. I am very careful to keep things tidy and organised, while catering to your pet’s comfort. I am coming into their and your home and so do my best to adapt to their environment, while taking care of your home!

About: Ever since a young age, i have taken care of all animals due to family and friends pets. My Grandmother, who had 7 dogs and 3 cats, taught me how to care for animals both stray and tamed from the age of a puppy to an elderly dog. This taught me many skills on how to care for animals, fulfilling not only their physical needs but emotional too. I am currently on the summer break with no jobs and no upcoming holidays trying to save for university and will therefore be free daily for anyone who needs any pet sitters or dog walkers. I currently only have a cat at the moment as my dog lives with my dad in Scotland, however, i can ensure your pet, whether thats a dog, cat or other, will be kept safe and entertained. As long as boundaries regarding the animal are understood beforehand they will be kept safe and secure.

About: After looking after my own rescue dogs since a child, i’d love to help out with caring for your pets too! I have looked after many of my neighbours’ and friends’ pets previously including my own animals throughout my personal life. I’m an active individual with access to a car aswell so no distance is too far, mainly looking for walking jobs but if you need a pet sitting for the day i’m happy to help x I mainly work early mornings so evening care is best suited for me but my schedule is pretty flexible! So don’t hesitate to ask for anything outside of these hours x I have a large fenced garden with lots of space to play! About: I have had dogs my whole life and always been around dogs and loved them. I have just finished my year as the President of Dog Society at the University of York, bringing dogs to campus each week for students to meet and play with when they’re feeling homesick. I’ve got experience feeding, walking, washing and caring for a variety of sized dogs, from Miniature Dachshunds to Dalmatians and everything in between. I also have experience of giving dogs and cats pill based medication - even to pets that really hate them! My own dog loves to run off on walks so I’ve got plenty of experience with dogs who are escape artists so I’m well aware of all their tricks! I like to meet with you and your dog before hand to get to know you both and give you peace of mind when I look after them. I am at home in Sussex until end of August when I am then back in York full time I have just graduated from the University of York and now work Monday to Friday however I am flexible and am around on the weekends so have lots of time for looking after your dog. I am unable to care for pets in my own home at the moment due to renting my home however I am confident walking dogs and caring for them in your own home.

About: I grew up with a lot of animals in my home. I worked in a cat rehoming centre for a year and learned a lot about animal behaviour and communication styles. I believe giving your pet time to adjust to a new person and allowing them their own space is very important to gaining mutual respect. I have recently returned from travelling Canada and on my travels I looked after many dogs, cats, and on one occasion chickens! I have a very flexible schedule so I am available to care for your pet at your speed. Whether you prefer shorter more frequent walks or big longer walks, I will endeavour to accommodate your needs. Every animal is entitled to feel comfortable in their own home. I believe in giving them the time and space they deserve to adjust to having someone new in the home. Some pets are very welcoming and that is great however, some can become over stimulated or wary which I am willing to work with on their schedule.

About: Experienced in having my own friend, a retired police dog (Springer SpanielxBoarder Collie) until his age of 15 for years. My family fosters rescue dogs from Romania, Kizzie (the one pictured) stayed with us for 3 months going from extremely scared of people to the most loving playful dog. Loving the outdoors myself, sharing it with dogs is something I really enjoy. Since traveling for work the last couple of years I was unable to have my own again. Now settling down I’m hoping to give other dogs the love and care until I’m ready for my own. A Reservist in the military, I’m looking for more full time work so currently have multiples days off at a time so flexibility is strong. Currently living with family who have an old dog so unable to care for other pets at the house. Able to walk/day service and overnight service at owners house if needs be
