About: I previous worked in a dog kennels and cattery this gave me lots of experience working with all different types of dogs and cats, and how to manage different pets differently. As well as this I have a T-level in animal behavioural welfare that has educated me on how to look after animals correctly. I’ve always had dogs of my own growing up and I always treat other peoples pets like they’re my own. Working with dogs and cats alone I’ve had over a decade of experience growing up with them but in a working environment I’ve had four years. I’m currently working part-time working at least once every weekend and on the afternoon during the week this gives me plenty of time to look after pets in the morning or around work. I have studied animal behaviour and welfare and have worked in a dog kennels and cattery before therefore I know how to care for a range of dogs and cats. Both my dogs are very friendly and well trained.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and caring for them has always come naturally to me. For the past decade, I’ve owned and cared for more specialized pets like ferrets, which has given me a deep understanding of patience, attentiveness, and individualized care. I especially love dogs and have experience training puppies as well as caring for senior dogs who need a little extra gentleness and support. From high-energy youngsters to calm, elderly companions, I’m comfortable adapting to each dog’s unique personality and needs. No dog feels unfamiliar to me, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I'm available most (if not all) days of the week currently and have plenty of time in my day to care for your loving pet. I'll care for your pet in your own home to your standards and instructions including play, treats, and meals. I can also care for them in my home, but have only a limited terraced garden space for them to play outside (my home is big for roaming, for more indoor inclined dogs).

About: I have several experiences of looking after cats and dogs. Both walking dogs, cat sitting where I have fed with and played with cats. I enjoy looking after pets and giving them enrichment I am free in the evenings and on Sunday and Mondays at the moment. So would be be able to fit it it around my schedule. I would help with feeding pets and follow clear instructions. I am more than happy to play and spend time with pets, clean up litter etc. I love walking dogs and playing fetch with them.

About: I'm El! I had a dog from when she was a puppy right through to old age. We trained her with various commands when she was young as well as monitoring her care and medication when she was older. I have also helped with friends and families dogs with day to day care (fed, walked, bathed etc). I currently only have weekends and evenings/nights available to look after pets. I can also only look after pets in their owners home as mine is under renovations. Caring for pets in their owners home will needs to be discussed on a case by case basis for the pet and the owner. I will always enter caring for a pet with compassion and a nurturing mindset. Looking after a pet in their owners home I would need to understand the boundaries already in place and would want to know their expectations for their home and their pet before before services being agreed.

About: I understand that leaving your pet with someone new can feel like a big decision, so my priority is always to make sure they feel safe, comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine, including walks, feeding times, playtime and plenty of attention and cuddles if they enjoy them. I also understand that every pet is different, and I’m happy to take the time to get to know their personality and what makes them feel comfortable. For house sitting, I’m respectful of your home and will treat it with the same care and consideration I would expect for my own. I’m also happy to keep you updated with messages and photos while you’re away, so you can relax knowing your pet is doing well. I’d love to meet you and your pet beforehand, go through their routine and make sure we’re a good fit. I look forward to meeting your furry friend! 🐾 I work in an office Monday to Friday, usually from 9am to 5pm, but I have the flexibility to WFH when needed. This means I can be quite flexible with pet care, especially for longer stays. My weekends are completely free, so I’m available to give pets plenty of time, attention and company. I’m happy to work around their usual routine and make sure they feel comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. I’ll care for your pets in their own home, where they already feel safe and comfortable. I believe keeping their usual environment and routine can make a big difference while you’re away. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, give them plenty of attention and make sure they feel happy and relaxed in their own space. I’ll also treat your home with the same care and respect I would expect for my own, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are in good hands while you’re away.

About: Hi! I'm Hope, a medical student based in Milton Keynes who has always enjoyed being around animals. Growing up with two cats and a mini schnauzer, I know the importance of knowing your pet is in safe, competent hands with somebody you can trust when you are away, and I promise to deliver excellent care while giving you that peace of mind. I have enjoyed previous dog walking and cat-sitting for family and friends, and I am eager to continue this through Rover. In term time I am a university student, however I do not have many contact hours so I am very flexible in what times and days I can provide care for your pet! I will follow the instructions for your individual pet and provide them with a calm presence when I take care of them while taking notice of their body language to assess what they need. Additionally, in the case of home visits I will ensure your house is locked and secure after I leave.

About: I’ve taken care of numerous dogs, aging from pups to seniors. I have maintained training programmes, as well as managing nervous and aggressive dogs. My experience in care work means I am exceptionally attentive and empathetic. I have a flexible schedule as a student. I am looking for part time work, and I am happy to work around pet owners requirements. My approach differs between cats and dogs. Cats: I keep a calm, quiet environment with no loud noises or surprises. I like to give the cat the space it deserves, and allow it to approach me when ready for cuddles or playing. Dogs: My fenced garden means easy access to outside. Lots of playing, goofing around and mental stimulation.

About: I have had dogs my whole life and always been around dogs and loved them. I have just finished my year as the President of Dog Society at the University of York, bringing dogs to campus each week for students to meet and play with when they’re feeling homesick. I’ve got experience feeding, walking, washing and caring for a variety of sized dogs, from Miniature Dachshunds to Dalmatians and everything in between. I also have experience of giving dogs and cats pill based medication - even to pets that really hate them! My own dog loves to run off on walks so I’ve got plenty of experience with dogs who are escape artists so I’m well aware of all their tricks! I like to meet with you and your dog before hand to get to know you both and give you peace of mind when I look after them. I am at home in Sussex until end of August when I am then back in York full time I have just graduated from the University of York and now work Monday to Friday however I am flexible and am around on the weekends so have lots of time for looking after your dog. About: I grew up with a lot of animals in my home. I worked in a cat rehoming centre for a year and learned a lot about animal behaviour and communication styles. I believe giving your pet time to adjust to a new person and allowing them their own space is very important to gaining mutual respect. I have recently returned from travelling Canada and on my travels I looked after many dogs, cats, and on one occasion chickens! I have a very flexible schedule so I am available to care for your pet at your speed. Whether you prefer shorter more frequent walks or big longer walks, I will endeavour to accommodate your needs. Every animal is entitled to feel comfortable in their own home. I believe in giving them the time and space they deserve to adjust to having someone new in the home. Some pets are very welcoming and that is great however, some can become over stimulated or wary which I am willing to work with on their schedule.

Dogs staying with me will have plenty of company while I work from home, with regular attention, toilet breaks and walks tailored to their usual routine. 🏠🐾 I have a fully enclosed private garden with 6ft fencing, giving dogs a secure outdoor space for fresh air, play and toilet breaks. I also have a quiet, comfortable space downstairs where they can relax and make themselves at home. For overnight stays, dogs will need to be comfortable and familiar with a crate, as this is where they’ll sleep and stay if I occasionally need to pop out. Outside of that, they’ll be free to relax with me and enjoy the house and garden as part of their stay. 🐾 When caring for pets in their own home, I’ll follow their normal feeding, walking and care routine as closely as possible, and I’ll treat both their home and their pet with the same care and respect I’d expect myself. Safety is really important to me, so I won’t let dogs off-lead or take unnecessary risks around other dogs without an owner’s agreement. And you can expect plenty of photos and updates along the way, so you can relax knowing your dog is happy and in safe hands.

About: Ever since a young age, i have taken care of all animals due to family and friends pets. My Grandmother, who had 7 dogs and 3 cats, taught me how to care for animals both stray and tamed from the age of a puppy to an elderly dog. This taught me many skills on how to care for animals, fulfilling not only their physical needs but emotional too. I am currently on the summer break with no jobs and no upcoming holidays trying to save for university and will therefore be free daily for anyone who needs any pet sitters or dog walkers. I currently only have a cat at the moment as my dog lives with my dad in Scotland, however, i can ensure your pet, whether thats a dog, cat or other, will be kept safe and entertained. As long as boundaries regarding the animal are understood beforehand they will be kept safe and secure.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals since been born and looked after different species of dogs and cats since they were young. I’ve helped train and teach them on what to do. I’ve helped more in the past few years with been older and sitting my families animals when they are away I am currently at uni where I’m there 2 days a week but varies all the time, and I also work part time at a pharmacy which I am changing my hours soon to fit around university. I have a fenced off garden space which is fine to allow dogs in for the toilet. There is a big downstairs space which is enough to allow the animals in and run about and sleep.
