“Gabby has just finished her dog sit for my little boy, Rolo. I cannot thank her enough! Gabby sat Rolo for 2 weeks whilst we were out of the country. I was nervous/anxious at first because we’d never left Rolo for so long but there really was no need for me to be! Gabby arrived on time as planned, which gave me plenty of time to go through instructions with her and take Rolo for a short walk. They had previously met when doing a meet and greet. Gabby messaged me every day with updates and photos, which I was really grateful for with this being a new experience for us and Rolo. My heart melted when Gabby sent me a photo of Rolo sleeping on his back, meaning that he was comfortable and trusted her. Gabby followed all instructions and checked with me if anything needed clarifying. She even watered my plants! I would highly recommend Gabby and plan on booking her in the future.”

About: Hello! We're Lizzie and Sam, an animal-loving couple based in York city centre with a passion for pets and the great outdoors. Having both grown up surrounded by animals, caring for dogs, cats, rabbits and more has always been a huge part of our lives. In 2020, we welcomed our own rescue girls, Rolo and Oreo, into the family, which only strengthened our love for providing the very best care for animals. What sets us apart is our combined experience caring for pets at every stage of life, from energetic puppies learning the ropes to senior dogs and cats who need a little extra patience, comfort and attention. We're confident with training, maintaining routines, administering basic care and medication, and adapting to each pet's individual needs and personality - giving extra snuggles or some distance wherever required. As active outdoor enthusiasts, we love keeping dogs happy with enriching walks and adventures, while ensuring every pet feels safe, relaxed and loved. We understand that leaving your pet with someone else requires trust, so we'll treat your furry family members as if they were our own, providing plenty of updates, photos and reassurance while you're away. Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine as we're both fortunate to work from home. This gives us the flexibility to provide care throughout the day. As pet owners ourselves, we're used to planning our days around the needs of animals and understand the importance of maintaining their usual routines. About: I've been dog sitting for my family and friends for 5 years now, and have a gentle and caring approach to meeting new people and pets. I am a member of my uni's dog society where we socialise and walk dogs, and have experience from raising two crazy spaniels from puppy / rescue. Would love new company and experience! I'm currently a student, so have lots of time within the week for visits, and very flexible for overnight stays. Whether you're heading on a weekend, day trip or full holiday, I'd love to help out! I offer clean and responsible care for your pets, and love big walks and cosy evenings in. I have a car and great knowledge of walks around York. Unfortunately, I cannot offer stays at my own home.
