Hi there, I have grown up with dogs most of my life - ranging from a sausage dog, to a whippet, to a boxer dog. In my adult life I had the pleasure of being the mum to a red fox Labrador. In the past few months I have been using Rover to enjoy the company of furry friends - and I have had the best time and met some amazing humans and animals. I have cared for a rescue Rottweiler and Belgian Malinois, an elderly French Bulldog, a puppy miniature Pinscher. I have also House sat for cats - a Bengal cat and a ragdoll. The list goes on. I live in the centre of York, 5 minutes away from the train station with some lovely parks nearby. No pets of my own currently in the house. I understand the anxieties that come with leaving your pet with someone new but I hope to alleviate these concerns once you have met me. Always happy to do meet and greets prior to bookings :) Please let me know if you have any questions.

Brooke is lovely and was able to look after our pup Leo last-minute whilst we visited the walls and museums of York. Brooke sent lots of photos and we could see that Leo was having a great day out, too! We were so glad we could leave him in safe hands with Brooke.
Brooke looked after my dog while I was out of the country for a few days. She was a new sitter for me and we met for a walk and for a daycare trial before the longer stay. I found Brooke to be really attentive to my dog's needs and she sent regular updates, photos and videos during the stay, which were very much appreciated. Brooke clearly takes time to ensure the dogs in her care have their needs met as well as loads of love and attention...can highly recommend.

Brooke was great and looked after my dog Vinnie for the day whilst I was visiting York. She was kind enough to do a meet and greet the day before and Vinnie settled in quickly with her. She sent lots of lovely photos and updates throughout the day.
Brooke was really lovely. There was another dog staying when she looked after our puppy Minca and Brooke was great at caring for both of them while we were at an event and meant we didn’t need to worry. She sent a some photos on both days too to keep us posted.

Schedule
I’m currently in between jobs so have plenty of time to give attention walks and cuddles. Free last minute too if you need last minute help.

I have a fenced outside area on the ground floor. They are allowed on furniture and beds and will have free run of the household :)
A typical day
This will depend on your individual pets needs. I am happy to take them on a big walk around a park, play games with them, or simply a smaller walk and watch a movie and cuddle if they are not as mobile.
