About: I have professional experience working with a variety of animals from over the last 10 years, particularly in a rescue environment working with lots of animals with different needs and backgrounds. Professionally, I have experience working with and building relationships with nervous animals, particularly nervous dogs and cats as well as training young animals and caring for senior pets. I have lots of experience administering medications including injectable medications and tablets and am happy to run through everything with you prior to you being away to ensure I can keep to your usual routine as best as possible and cause the least disruption to your pets. I am also fully insured as a pet sitter/dog walker. Aside from my professional qualifications, I have also taken on informal pet sitting duties for neighbours and friends, as well as having a menagerie of my own! I’m currently awaiting to start a new job so have plenty of time to look after, play with, and care for your pets. I’m available for staying over on weekends and can be around at any time needed otherwise. I am able to carry out pet sitting in the home around my work also and would be happy to visit your home during lunch breaks as I would with my own pets. Having worked with lots of different animals with specific and individual needs, I take the time to ensure that I know your routine and what your pet needs. Whether your furry friend needs lots of play time, walking, or just company around the house, I’m ready to take on and cater to their usual routine and needs to ensure minimal disruption whilst you’re out and away.

“Gabby has just finished her dog sit for my little boy, Rolo. I cannot thank her enough! Gabby sat Rolo for 2 weeks whilst we were out of the country. I was nervous/anxious at first because we’d never left Rolo for so long but there really was no need for me to be! Gabby arrived on time as planned, which gave me plenty of time to go through instructions with her and take Rolo for a short walk. They had previously met when doing a meet and greet. Gabby messaged me every day with updates and photos, which I was really grateful for with this being a new experience for us and Rolo. My heart melted when Gabby sent me a photo of Rolo sleeping on his back, meaning that he was comfortable and trusted her. Gabby followed all instructions and checked with me if anything needed clarifying. She even watered my plants! I would highly recommend Gabby and plan on booking her in the future.”

I have also previously cat sat which included feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, and giving cats the attention and care they need while their owners are away. I live close to the racecourse, so have lots of green space nearby, making it the perfect location for walks and fresh air. I'm also available for pet sitting at your home, so they can stay comfortable in their familiar surroundings while you’re away. As someone who spends much of the day working at a desk, I enjoy getting outside for walks. However, when back at my house, your pet will have plenty of companionship and attention throughout the day. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced, secure garden where dogs can safely enjoy time outdoors, as well as easy access to large green spaces nearby for regular walks and exercise. I'm happy to adapt to your pet's usual routine and any specific care requirements, including crate training, medication schedules, feeding routines, or sleeping arrangements. Just let me know your preferences in advance, and I'll do my best to keep their stay as familiar and stress-free as possible. I also have two cats at home. To ensure everyone's comfort and safety, they will be kept in a separate, secure area of the house throughout any dog boarding stay, so your dog can relax and enjoy the space.

About: Hey, I’m Frances, a York/Selby local! I’ve grown up having many pets – dogs, birds and guinea pigs. ☀️ Being around animals has always felt natural to me. Throughout my life, I’ve lived in a home that has always had dogs, including many Boxers, so my love for dogs grew from there. We adopted Isla, a 10-year-old White Boxer, who still has lots of energy! She’s a strong, energetic girl who requires longer walks and a solid routine, so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs with plenty of energy and personality. I’m the main person who will be caring for your dog, and I’ll sometimes be accompanied by my partner, Charlie. Charlie has also grown up around dogs and has lots of experience with them. He’s naturally very good with animals and, like me, absolutely loves getting out for long walks. We both enjoy quiet, chilled weekends and spending time outdoors, so having a dog to join us on walks and relax with is something we genuinely love. 🐾 Clear communication is really important to me. I’ll always respect your instructions around training, routines and care, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and little check-ins so you know your dog is happy and settled. 🐶 I attend dance classes 3 times a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 4pm and 8pm, so I've got plenty of time to spare for your dogs during the day. I’m happy to care for dogs in their own home and will always make sure they feel safe, comfortable and well looked after. I love taking dogs on walks and exploring different routes, parks and green spaces so they can get plenty of exercise and enjoy lots of new smells. I’ll follow their usual routine, give them plenty of attention and make sure they’re happy and settled before I leave.
