Shortly after making the booking, Jennifer reached out and we planned a short pre-meet before so that Gregory and her lovely dog Coco could meet, and we could share some information about them both. It was clear immediately that Jennifer and her family very much cared about making sure Gregory was going to have a comfortable stay with them, and he definitely did. During the boarding, Jennifer kept us updated with pictures of Gregory doing all his favourite things and he looked to be having an absolute splendid time, seemingly as comfortable as he would be in his own home! “Our first time using Rover as our usual kennels mixed up our booking and left us needing to find somewhere at short notice. After drawing a blank at all nearby kennels, I gave Rover a try. Was simple to use and we were quickly matched with Jo. She arranged a pre-meet to get to know our dog and see if we were comfortable. She asked loads of great questions to make sure she knew all about our dog's needs and habits. About: As a child I grew up with cats so have plenty of years’ experience around all different cat personalities. I had 5 years experience caring for my own elderly cat and am confident administering medications of different kinds. About: I've been around dogs since childhood, and three years ago, my family and I adopted our lovely Britney/Staffy cross, Coco, after finding her abandoned while on holiday in Spain. Coco is 5 years old and very loves nothing more than making new doggy friends. We love local walks to the cafe at lunch and going further afield at weekends and would love to have your dog along with us. We also have a large enclosed garden for plenty of outdoor fun during the day! I work from home three days a week and my husband works from home full time so someone will always be around the house. We walk our dog Coco three times a day, and allow plenty of time in the garden between walks. My husband usually walks to a local cafe at lunch for a good one hour walk with the dog. We have a large and totally enclosed back garden and a large open plan living area downstairs. Your dog will be free to wander around the house and hangout with our dog Coco. If we have to pop out for a short time we ensure access to a comfy bed and water at all times.

About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs for most of my life. Growing up, my family had a female Pomeranian who was with us for over 10 years, followed by a female Husky. Caring for them gave me experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes and personalities. Now I live with my partner and our spayed female Cockapoo, Loopy. About: I work in education, have a current DBS, and live with my husband and children. We have previously had an indoor cat and have used the cat in a flat service before when we were away. We felt it was just as good as a cattery, and he had his own space and was calmer being at home. I have recently started to find opportunities to volunteer and work with cats which I am thoroughly enjoying.

About: I have studied Animal Management at Level 3 and want to use that knowledge to care for other people's pets. I've had my own whippet since I was 6. I had the pleasure of caring for him at home until his recent death. Over recent years, friends and neighbours have asked me to care for their pets which has been very rewarding. If your pet would enjoy the company of me and my pets, there is always room for them on our settee! I work one hour a day in the morning and afternoon, weekdays and term time only. I am free the rest of the time and at weekends. I have my own car for transporting pets. My home is calm and relaxed and dog friendly with a secure garden and lots of lovely walks on my doorstep. There is a secured gated field nearby. I can give your pets lots of fuss or leave them to rest and relax if they wish. I would ensure I followed the owner’s instructions and I would keep them updated. I would keep a good routine, with feeding, making sure their pets food is fresh in clean bowls with access to fresh water. I would exercise them to suit their needs. I am happy to bathe, brush, clean teeth if they allow but I do not clip nails. I would give medication according to owner’s instructions. I would ensure harnesses, leads are secure before leaving on a walk and car restraints are secured before transporting. Pets are allowed on our chairs and sofas and beds and I would like them to feel safe, relaxed and comfortable. I can crate if required. I would give positive praise and fussing, helping your pet to feel at home in our home!

About: Ever since a young age, i have taken care of all animals due to family and friends pets. My Grandmother, who had 7 dogs and 3 cats, taught me how to care for animals both stray and tamed from the age of a puppy to an elderly dog. This taught me many skills on how to care for animals, fulfilling not only their physical needs but emotional too. I am currently on the summer break with no jobs and no upcoming holidays trying to save for university and will therefore be free daily for anyone who needs any pet sitters or dog walkers. I currently only have a cat at the moment as my dog lives with my dad in Scotland, however, i can ensure your pet, whether thats a dog, cat or other, will be kept safe and entertained. As long as boundaries regarding the animal are understood beforehand they will be kept safe and secure.

About: I have experience of sitting for 6 doggy households on regular occasions. I enjoy to interact with dogs within there home as well as taking them on lovely long walks. I grew up with a miniature schnauzer so I feel very comfortable around dogs. I miss her and therefore would love to be able to build relationships with them and their owners. I’m a student who studies in Kingston, currently I’m at home in york for summer and have full availability. About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs for most of my life. Growing up, my family had a female Pomeranian who was with us for over 10 years, followed by a female Husky. Caring for them gave me experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes and personalities. Now I live with my partner and our spayed female Cockapoo, Loopy. Looking after her has taught me the importance of understanding each dog’s individual needs, routine and personality. I’ve also looked after friends’ dogs, including a large Old English Sheepdog, whom I bathed and cared for, as well as several Cockapoos. “Maddie was super patient with our 3 month old puppy, Haribo. This was a booking made on extremely short notice due to a last minute cancellation by another sitter, and so we were extremely lucky that Maddie agreed to take him in for 2 nights. Moreover, she took the time to meet him before the booking and immediately put my and my husband's minds at ease. Haribo was definitely well-taken care of. She was very keen on sticking to his routines, was very caring and affectionate towards him. She took him to the dog park, watched Bluey with him, snuggled with him on the sofa, and took him out regularly. He had accidents but Maddie was so understanding about everything. Haribo def had the time of his life and is a happy pup 😍 we have requested another booking with her because she's amazing!”
