About: Hi, I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and I’ve come back from university for a long holiday break and would love to welcome your dog into my family’s home to stay. I’m also available for dog walking and day care. We can offer a fenced and safe garden, comfortable sofa and plenty of time for cuddles, company, walks and playtime to all the dogs that stay with us. Our home is very dog friendly and full of treats and toys. We live local to the river and multiple green spaces for a variety of walks. Our family dog, Willow, is 5 years old, she’s an independent miniature poodle. I am happy to arrange a meet and greet before any booking if you would like to see how your dog gets on. I can also easily accommodate separate walks for your dog if you prefer. I want to make your pet feel like this is their home from home so if they have any special requests to make them feel comfortable then please feel free to ask 😁 I’m back from university so I’m available most days, including weekends. I will also be taking care of my own dog when my parents are at work, so I have plenty of time to spend with your dog. I can easily accommodate a dog crate, if your dog is happiest sleeping there. I have a medium-sized fenced garden and live close to Bootham park and the river for nice walks. Your dog is welcome on the sofa and my priority is making them welcome and comfortable.

About: I am an animal lover and hold my pet first aid and CPR certificate. I have over 5 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors. I am comfortable with administering oral medications, and providing extra attention for pets with additional needs. I also have experience in caring for cats of a range of ages from energetic kittens to relaxed older cats. I also have personal reptiles too, owning two tortoises and a leopard gecko. My experience, reliability, and love for animals help me create a safe and happy environment for your animals. I am a mature student at the University of York living in central York. With most of my work being done online I am flexible to make lots of time for walks and playtime! I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort in every visit. I create a secure environment by keeping pets supervised, following your pets usual routines, and ensuring they have fresh water, meals, and plenty of love and attention. I respect each pet’s individual needs and personality, making sure they feel calm, happy, and cared for at all times.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals since been born and looked after different species of dogs and cats since they were young. I’ve helped train and teach them on what to do. I’ve helped more in the past few years with been older and sitting my families animals when they are away I am currently at uni where I’m there 2 days a week but varies all the time, and I also work part time at a pharmacy which I am changing my hours soon to fit around university. I have a fenced off garden space which is fine to allow dogs in for the toilet. There is a big downstairs space which is enough to allow the animals in and run about and sleep.

About: I understand that leaving your pet with someone new can feel like a big decision, so my priority is always to make sure they feel safe, comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine, including walks, feeding times, playtime and plenty of attention and cuddles if they enjoy them. I also understand that every pet is different, and I’m happy to take the time to get to know their personality and what makes them feel comfortable. For house sitting, I’m respectful of your home and will treat it with the same care and consideration I would expect for my own. I look forward to meeting your furry friend! 🐾 I work in an office Monday to Friday, usually from 9am to 5pm, but I have the flexibility to WFH when needed. This means I can be quite flexible with pet care, especially for longer stays. My weekends are completely free, so I’m available to give pets plenty of time, attention and company. I’m happy to work around their usual routine and make sure they feel comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. I’ll care for your pets in their own home, where they already feel safe and comfortable. I believe keeping their usual environment and routine can make a big difference while you’re away. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, give them plenty of attention and make sure they feel happy and relaxed in their own space. I’ll also treat your home with the same care and respect I would expect for my own, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are in good hands while you’re away.

About: I have always had dogs, currently have 3! I have experience with many animals including horses, rodents, cats and love the time I get to spend with animals. I’m around full time so plenty of time to give to everyone’s furry family members. I’m flexible with time and will try to accommodate where possible. I am happy to care for you pets in your own home following the routine of your choice. I will ensure they are well cared for as if they’re my own.

About: I’ve looked after friends and family’s pets since a very young age. Over this time, I have learnt that there is nothing more rewarding than gaining a connection with the animal you are caring for. I volunteer at animal shelters, working with teams to build my knowledge and experience with pets of all backgrounds, personalities and needs. This includes lots of dog walking, kennel cleaning, training and of course, playing! I also have a cat of my own who I rescued as a young kitten and have raised into my best friend. I always have and continue to absolutely adore being around animals! I am currently studying at university but have a lot of free time around any scheduled contact hours. Often I am only busy for 2-3 hours in the day and free on weekends. I offer a friendly, welcoming and gentle approach. I think quality time with animals is one of the most important aspects of being a sitter, ensuring they don’t feel the absence of their owners too much and aren’t lonely! I am reliable and will follow your requests to the best of my ability so both pet and owner are happy.

About: Hi! I'm Hope, a medical student based in Milton Keynes who has always enjoyed being around animals. Growing up with two cats and a mini schnauzer, I know the importance of knowing your pet is in safe, competent hands with somebody you can trust when you are away, and I promise to deliver excellent care while giving you that peace of mind. Whether your pet needs a walk, daily care or just some company, I'd be happy to help while keeping you updated through the process. I have enjoyed previous dog walking and cat-sitting for family and friends, and I am eager to continue this through Rover. In term time I am a university student, however I do not have many contact hours so I am very flexible in what times and days I can provide care for your pet! I will follow the instructions for your individual pet and provide them with a calm presence when I take care of them while taking notice of their body language to assess what they need. Additionally, in the case of home visits I will ensure your house is locked and secure after I leave.

He’s timely and always provides pictures with his updates, which I appreciate - it’s good to see a little snippet of my cats each day when I’m gone. My girls are messy and he’s very tidy with the cats, cleans the litter trays regularly, and uses the hoover to clean up any messes my cats have left behind. I’ve also forgotten to take out the bins/recycling before when I’ve been traveling. If he’s cat sitting, he always happy to take the bins to the curb. He’s incredibly reliable and my cats love him! About: I have my own cat and dog who I trained and looked after myself as a puppy. I was often left with my own animals alone as a child and I still am relied on to care for them to this day. I have also looked after friends’ pets. I love any cat or dog and am willing to learn any care for any extra support that may be needed . I am currently home from university and unoccupied. About: What sets me apart is the balance of professional knowledge and genuine love I have for dogs. I completed a Level 3 Animal Care Diploma, where I studied dog behaviour, welfare, and puppy training, so I feel confident supporting young dogs as they learn and grow, as well as understanding each dog’s individual needs and body language. I’ve grown up with dogs all my life, and my Cockapoo back home is truly my best friend, which means I completely understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I’m currently an Interior Design student at university in York, which gives me a flexible schedule and a calm, responsible approach to everything I do. I will always care for your dog with patience, reliability, and lots of affection, just like I would my own. I’m currently a university student in York, with lectures on Mondays and Thursdays from 10am–5pm. Outside of those hours, I’m fully available and have a very flexible schedule for walks, drop-ins, day care, and boarding. On lecture days, I’m still available before and after classes. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I make sure I only take bookings when I can give each dog the time, attention, and exercise they deserve. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my priority. My accommodation allows dogs, so I’m able to have them stay comfortably in my room with me while I study or work, meaning they won’t be left alone for long periods. I create a calm, clean, and secure environment and stick closely to your dog’s usual routine to help them feel settled. With my Level 3 Animal Care Diploma and knowledge of dog behaviour, I’m confident recognising body language, managing different temperaments, and ensuring every dog feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos for reassurance.

About: Experienced in having my own friend, a retired police dog (Springer SpanielxBoarder Collie) until his age of 15 for years. My family fosters rescue dogs from Romania, Kizzie (the one pictured) stayed with us for 3 months going from extremely scared of people to the most loving playful dog. Loving the outdoors myself, sharing it with dogs is something I really enjoy. Since traveling for work the last couple of years I was unable to have my own again. Now settling down I’m hoping to give other dogs the love and care until I’m ready for my own. A Reservist in the military, I’m looking for more full time work so currently have multiples days off at a time so flexibility is strong. Currently living with family who have an old dog so unable to care for other pets at the house. Able to walk/day service and overnight service at owners house if needs be

About: Ever since a young age, i have taken care of all animals due to family and friends pets. My Grandmother, who had 7 dogs and 3 cats, taught me how to care for animals both stray and tamed from the age of a puppy to an elderly dog. This taught me many skills on how to care for animals, fulfilling not only their physical needs but emotional too. I am currently on the summer break with no jobs and no upcoming holidays trying to save for university and will therefore be free daily for anyone who needs any pet sitters or dog walkers. I currently only have a cat at the moment as my dog lives with my dad in Scotland, however, i can ensure your pet, whether thats a dog, cat or other, will be kept safe and entertained. As long as boundaries regarding the animal are understood beforehand they will be kept safe and secure.
