I live in a three bed detached house in Acomb, offering plenty of space for dogs of all sizes to relax, play, and feel at home. The house has a good-sized private and secure garden, giving dogs a safe outdoor space to enjoy throughout the day. We’re also just over the road from a large field and close to several green spaces, making it easy to provide regular walks, exercise, and fresh air. I always aim to create a calm, secure, and loving environment where pets feel safe, happy, and well looked after during their stay.

I always like to know a bit about your dog’s personality, routine, and any specific needs before we spend time together. Things such as how they are on the lead, around other dogs, their favourite activities, any health conditions, or quirks. All this helps me make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for. The more you can share, the better I can tailor the experience to suit them!
A typical day
A typical day with me includes plenty of walks, playtime, and cuddles! I love heading out for relaxed strolls or more adventurous walks depending on your dog’s energy levels, especially through York’s green spaces and riverside paths. At home, there’s time to rest, play with toys, and enjoy some company (and maybe a treat or two if allowed!). I keep to your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable, safe, and happy while they’re in my care.

I’ve been around dogs my whole life, from walking a big Weimaraner as a kid to helping care for my family’s two energetic working cocker spaniels when I visit. I’m experienced with high-energy breeds, comfortable walking multiple dogs at once, and always take the time to make sure each dog feels safe and happy. I also have experience supporting animals with different temperaments, and I’m happy to adapt to each dog’s specific needs whether it’s gentle encouragement for nervous pups or plenty of playtime for the energetic ones!
