About: Had 4 different dogs in my lifetime, all who were loved until the age of 18, aswell as 2 cats, and have experience dealing with dogs all different natures and breeds. I love taking care of them and keeping them safe and being around animals brings me much joy. One of my current dogs being 18, and my other being 1, means I have to deal with both senior and youthful energy all the time, teaching me alot. I'm currently in my first year at York St John University, although have lots of free time all week, so I'm happy to help out during the week and on weekends! I love to spend time with animals, so I am extremely flexible, and will likely be available whenever required 😁 I'm happy to adapt in whatever scenario to care for any pets, I'm happy to feed them, play with them, chill with them, keep an eye on them, take them out for walks, smother them with love, whatever you require!

About: Hi, I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and I’ve come back from university for a long holiday break and would love to welcome your dog into my family’s home to stay. I’m also available for dog walking and day care. We can offer a fenced and safe garden, comfortable sofa and plenty of time for cuddles, company, walks and playtime to all the dogs that stay with us. Our home is very dog friendly and full of treats and toys. We live local to the river and multiple green spaces for a variety of walks. Our family dog, Willow, is 5 years old, she’s an independent miniature poodle. I am happy to arrange a meet and greet before any booking if you would like to see how your dog gets on. I can also easily accommodate separate walks for your dog if you prefer. I want to make your pet feel like this is their home from home so if they have any special requests to make them feel comfortable then please feel free to ask 😁 I’m back from university so I’m available most days, including weekends. I will also be taking care of my own dog when my parents are at work, so I have plenty of time to spend with your dog. I can easily accommodate a dog crate, if your dog is happiest sleeping there. I have a medium-sized fenced garden and live close to Bootham park and the river for nice walks. Your dog is welcome on the sofa and my priority is making them welcome and comfortable.

About: I have studied Animal Management at Level 3 and want to use that knowledge to care for other people's pets. I've had my own whippet since I was 6. I had the pleasure of caring for him at home until his recent death. Over recent years, friends and neighbours have asked me to care for their pets which has been very rewarding. I am currently in between jobs so Im available all times however I do have to walk as i don't currently have my drivers license I have been taught how to safely hand pets and will follow all instructions provided as all pets are different. If there are specific requirement please let me know before hand but Im not afraid of anyone jumping up or being overly friendly, same goes for if they are more reserved.

About: Hi! I’m Georgia (Gee) I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, and looking after them has always just been part of who I am. I’m often the one in my family who ends up taking care of everyone’s dogs, and I honestly love it—walks, playtime, cuddles, all of it. About: I have my own cat and dog who I trained and looked after myself as a puppy. I was often left with my own animals alone as a child and I still am relied on to care for them to this day. I have also looked after friends’ pets. I love any cat or dog and am willing to learn any care for any extra support that may be needed . I am currently home from university and unoccupied. About: After being around dogs all my life, and seeming to be constantly walking the family dogs when I am at home, ever since being old enough to be trusted to (we have 3 dogs at the minute!), I have plenty of experience with dogs. I absolutely love dogs and their various personalities. I'm currently at university in York and looking to earn a little extra money whilst also filling the dog shaped hole whilst I'm away at uni, as we have always had a menagerie of pets at home. About: I’ve taken care of numerous dogs, aging from pups to seniors. I have maintained training programmes, as well as managing nervous and aggressive dogs. My experience in care work means I am exceptionally attentive and empathetic. I have a flexible schedule as a student. I am looking for part time work, and I am happy to work around pet owners requirements. My approach differs between cats and dogs. Cats: I keep a calm, quiet environment with no loud noises or surprises. I like to give the cat the space it deserves, and allow it to approach me when ready for cuddles or playing. About: Hi, I’m Ellen, and I’ve been surrounded by dogs and cats my whole life. For years I’ve been entrusted to walk dogs belonging to friends, family and paying customers, and to do drop-in visits for pets. I also walk and care for my own two dogs, Bella and Wilby, on a daily basis. In 2021 I also had the wonderful experience of raising Bella’s litter of 5 puppies in my family home, from their birth right up until they moved in with their new families (apart from Wilby who we decided to keep!). Wilby is an anxious dog and doesn’t get on well with other dogs, so I’m experienced in walking particularly difficult and antisocial dogs. I’m currently a university student, so my pet care fits around my university schedule. I’m available during the early mornings and the evenings, and my availability varies during working hours, but I’ll always be able to make time for your pet. I’m also available throughout the day on Saturdays and Sundays. Whilst on walks, I prefer to stick to green areas rather than roads for both the safety and enjoyment of your pup. I also shower them with all the pets and attention that they could want.

About: Ever since a young age, i have taken care of all animals due to family and friends pets. My Grandmother, who had 7 dogs and 3 cats, taught me how to care for animals both stray and tamed from the age of a puppy to an elderly dog. This taught me many skills on how to care for animals, fulfilling not only their physical needs but emotional too. I am currently on the summer break with no jobs and no upcoming holidays trying to save for university and will therefore be free daily for anyone who needs any pet sitters or dog walkers. I currently only have a cat at the moment as my dog lives with my dad in Scotland, however, i can ensure your pet, whether thats a dog, cat or other, will be kept safe and entertained. As long as boundaries regarding the animal are understood beforehand they will be kept safe and secure.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and caring for them has always come naturally to me. For the past decade, I’ve owned and cared for more specialized pets like ferrets, which has given me a deep understanding of patience, attentiveness, and individualized care. I especially love dogs and have experience training puppies as well as caring for senior dogs who need a little extra gentleness and support. From high-energy youngsters to calm, elderly companions, I’m comfortable adapting to each dog’s unique personality and needs. No dog feels unfamiliar to me, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I'm available most (if not all) days of the week currently and have plenty of time in my day to care for your loving pet. I'll care for your pet in your own home to your standards and instructions including play, treats, and meals. I can also care for them in my home, but have only a limited terraced garden space for them to play outside (my home is big for roaming, for more indoor inclined dogs).

About: I have had dogs my whole life and always been around dogs and loved them. I have just finished my year as the President of Dog Society at the University of York, bringing dogs to campus each week for students to meet and play with when they’re feeling homesick. I’ve got experience feeding, walking, washing and caring for a variety of sized dogs, from Miniature Dachshunds to Dalmatians and everything in between. I also have experience of giving dogs and cats pill based medication - even to pets that really hate them! My own dog loves to run off on walks so I’ve got plenty of experience with dogs who are escape artists so I’m well aware of all their tricks! I like to meet with you and your dog before hand to get to know you both and give you peace of mind when I look after them. I am at home in Sussex until end of August when I am then back in York full time I have just graduated from the University of York and now work Monday to Friday however I am flexible and am around on the weekends so have lots of time for looking after your dog. I am happy to look after your dog, just message me and we can sort a time that suits. I’m willing to become a regular helping hand for your dog. I am unable to care for pets in my own home at the moment due to renting my home however I am confident walking dogs and caring for them in your own home.

About: Experienced in having my own friend, a retired police dog (Springer SpanielxBoarder Collie) until his age of 15 for years. My family fosters rescue dogs from Romania, Kizzie (the one pictured) stayed with us for 3 months going from extremely scared of people to the most loving playful dog. Loving the outdoors myself, sharing it with dogs is something I really enjoy. Since traveling for work the last couple of years I was unable to have my own again. About: I am a huge animal lover, have had dogs my whole life and currently have a 3 year old female Cockapoo who loves play dates. I also helped to care for my 2 elderly family dogs who had arthritis and hip dysplasia and needed daily medication. Having been through separation anxiety with my own dog, I know how important it is to get the best care for them, with someone you can trust.
