About: Had 4 different dogs in my lifetime, all who were loved until the age of 18, aswell as 2 cats, and have experience dealing with dogs all different natures and breeds. I love taking care of them and keeping them safe and being around animals brings me much joy. One of my current dogs being 18, and my other being 1, means I have to deal with both senior and youthful energy all the time, teaching me alot. I'm currently in my first year at York St John University, although have lots of free time all week, so I'm happy to help out during the week and on weekends! I love to spend time with animals, so I am extremely flexible, and will likely be available whenever required 😁 I'm happy to adapt in whatever scenario to care for any pets, I'm happy to feed them, play with them, chill with them, keep an eye on them, take them out for walks, smother them with love, whatever you require!

About: Hi, I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and I’ve come back from university for a long holiday break and would love to welcome your dog into my family’s home to stay. I’m also available for dog walking and day care. We can offer a fenced and safe garden, comfortable sofa and plenty of time for cuddles, company, walks and playtime to all the dogs that stay with us. Our home is very dog friendly and full of treats and toys. We live local to the river and multiple green spaces for a variety of walks. Our family dog, Willow, is 5 years old, she’s an independent miniature poodle. I am happy to arrange a meet and greet before any booking if you would like to see how your dog gets on. I can also easily accommodate separate walks for your dog if you prefer. I want to make your pet feel like this is their home from home so if they have any special requests to make them feel comfortable then please feel free to ask 😁 I’m back from university so I’m available most days, including weekends. I will also be taking care of my own dog when my parents are at work, so I have plenty of time to spend with your dog. I can easily accommodate a dog crate, if your dog is happiest sleeping there. I have a medium-sized fenced garden and live close to Bootham park and the river for nice walks. Your dog is welcome on the sofa and my priority is making them welcome and comfortable.

About: After being around dogs all my life, and seeming to be constantly walking the family dogs when I am at home, ever since being old enough to be trusted to (we have 3 dogs at the minute!), I have plenty of experience with dogs. I absolutely love dogs and their various personalities. I'm currently at university in York and looking to earn a little extra money whilst also filling the dog shaped hole whilst I'm away at uni, as we have always had a menagerie of pets at home. About: I have several experiences of looking after cats and dogs. Both walking dogs, cat sitting where I have fed with and played with cats. I enjoy looking after pets and giving them enrichment I am free in the evenings and on Sunday and Mondays at the moment. So would be be able to fit it it around my schedule. I would help with feeding pets and follow clear instructions. I am more than happy to play and spend time with pets, clean up litter etc. I love walking dogs and playing fetch with them.

I have a fully fenced, secure garden where dogs can safely enjoy time outdoors, as well as easy access to large green spaces nearby for regular walks and exercise. I'm happy to adapt to your pet's usual routine and any specific care requirements, including crate training, medication schedules, feeding routines, or sleeping arrangements. Just let me know your preferences in advance, and I'll do my best to keep their stay as familiar and stress-free as possible. I also have two cats at home. To ensure everyone's comfort and safety, they will be kept in a separate, secure area of the house throughout any dog boarding stay, so your dog can relax and enjoy the space.

In term time I am a university student, however I do not have many contact hours so I am very flexible in what times and days I can provide care for your pet! I will follow the instructions for your individual pet and provide them with a calm presence when I take care of them while taking notice of their body language to assess what they need. Additionally, in the case of home visits I will ensure your house is locked and secure after I leave.

About: I’ve looked after friends and family’s pets since a very young age. Over this time, I have learnt that there is nothing more rewarding than gaining a connection with the animal you are caring for. I volunteer at animal shelters, working with teams to build my knowledge and experience with pets of all backgrounds, personalities and needs. This includes lots of dog walking, kennel cleaning, training and of course, playing! I also have a cat of my own who I rescued as a young kitten and have raised into my best friend. I think quality time with animals is one of the most important aspects of being a sitter, ensuring they don’t feel the absence of their owners too much and aren’t lonely! He’s timely and always provides pictures with his updates, which I appreciate - it’s good to see a little snippet of my cats each day when I’m gone. My girls are messy and he’s very tidy with the cats, cleans the litter trays regularly, and uses the hoover to clean up any messes my cats have left behind. I’ve also forgotten to take out the bins/recycling before when I’ve been traveling. If he’s cat sitting, he always happy to take the bins to the curb. He’s incredibly reliable and my cats love him! About: Ever since a young age, i have taken care of all animals due to family and friends pets. My Grandmother, who had 7 dogs and 3 cats, taught me how to care for animals both stray and tamed from the age of a puppy to an elderly dog. This taught me many skills on how to care for animals, fulfilling not only their physical needs but emotional too. I am currently on the summer break with no jobs and no upcoming holidays trying to save for university and will therefore be free daily for anyone who needs any pet sitters or dog walkers. I currently only have a cat at the moment as my dog lives with my dad in Scotland, however, i can ensure your pet, whether thats a dog, cat or other, will be kept safe and entertained. As long as boundaries regarding the animal are understood beforehand they will be kept safe and secure.

About: Experienced in having my own friend, a retired police dog (Springer SpanielxBoarder Collie) until his age of 15 for years. My family fosters rescue dogs from Romania, Kizzie (the one pictured) stayed with us for 3 months going from extremely scared of people to the most loving playful dog. Loving the outdoors myself, sharing it with dogs is something I really enjoy. Since traveling for work the last couple of years I was unable to have my own again. Now settling down I’m hoping to give other dogs the love and care until I’m ready for my own. A Reservist in the military, I’m looking for more full time work so currently have multiples days off at a time so flexibility is strong.
